I've always admired Wimbeldon, not for the tennis, but for the courts. Oh man, what would it be…read morelike to play on grass! Sadly, in Southern California I can't think of a single set of courts that are not concrete. That is certainly the case here and because there is so little shade until late in the day, the five courts are like mini-heat islands just waiting to suck you dry. Ironically, the courts are hidden by these really large bushes that make them really hard to see. Yet, somehow, they provide almost no shade. So, if you play, go in the early evening when there is some shade and it's cool. The one thing I will say, however, is that because they are hidden, you can usually get a court. Just a head's up for any Yelp tennis players out there. Oh well - at least the heat gives me an excuse for my terrible game! Plus, its free! None of that paying for courts nonsense.

This place is pretty much hidden which is great for the locals who know of it bad for the others…read more. Feels like you're playing on rooftops above the surrounded houses which is simply awesome. Can find lots of tennis balls behind... Bad part: the sun feels extra unforgiving while playing on the court than the sun say like next door.. Since the courts are blocked off from the outside world with the tall walls, there isn't much airflow to give u some relief breezes.. There isn't any light for when the sun set, nor is there a bathroom I think

It gets crowded, so toddlers may enjoy nearby Primrose Park. A major plus is that the bathrooms are located inside the air-conditioned community center. The shaded benches are a bit far from the play area, so keep that in mind. Overall, it's a great spot with plentiful parking, a nice walking loop, and well-maintained pickleball courts.

Great public park with lots of amenities, including a playground area, picnic shelters, basketball…read morecourts, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and baseball, softball, soccer, and football fields. My partner and I really enjoy coming here to play pickleball nowadays. There are 8 permanent courts. The courts are super busy on weekend mornings and less busy on weekdays. The queue system is fair and efficient. I only wish they would keep the pickleball courts open until later. They usually close around 8pm, which seems kind of early. In my opinion, this is one of the cleaner and better-maintained parks in the area. There is a pleasant walking path. I always see people walking their dogs here and families coming here for a stroll around the park. There are parking lots on both sides of the park, as well as plenty of street parking all around. However, when there are events going on at the park, parking can be a bit difficult.
