I ordered 4 breakfast tacos, bacon, egg and cheese on flour. Most tacos You get Need heavy seasoning After you have picked them up but these All we're spot on with saltiness. The salsa was tomato forward which I like on a bt. The women inside who helped me with my TOGO order were polite and quick. The place is definitely filled with locals who like to fish early in the morning. The interior was very nice, plenty of seating in large tables. You cannot go wrong as I was looking at other plates coming out and everything was absolutely delicious. Nice home cooking restaurant! Honestly everything is 5 stars except operations logistics which I think they will sort out after they e been open a little longer. We arrived at 11:30 and were told it would be an hour wait for food due to a backlog of call in orders. They had 2 tables of 4 each inside - so call ins were overwhelming them. They ended up closing to walk ins not long after we got there so they could catch up. That was a good decision. Like I said, I think sometimes it takes a bit of time running a restaurant to get staffing and kitchen capacity balanced out. Anyway, food was excellent. Most of our table did breakfast (idk what the sausage brand is but everyone raved about it) and my SIL both ordered a BLT and split a side order of sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. We live on Galveston Island, and went over on the ferry early one morning (to avoid the lines) for work. We needed breakfast and found this place on yelp. The lady in the food truck was so friendly, and patiently waited for us while we decided what to order. We ended up having the breakfast sandwich and coffee. Kind of just basic. The food was cooked perfectly, and it was delicious. The coffee was good too! This is a perfect addition to the area for breakfast. read more

We've eaten here three times since we came to stay. This is our second stay at Crystal Beach and we still go here for breakfast. Their breakfast bowl and breakfast tacos are amazing! The service was disappointing at best. Our waitress Chairina was unwelcoming and dismissive of her mistakes. We were there almost an hour and never received a menu, we only got as far as drinks. Great place! We ordered a burger basket and a Philly cheesesteak. They were served hot with piping hot fries! The burger bun was lightly toasted and so yummy bc it was kinda thin - yum! The burger was seriously perfect. Cooked through and about it a 3/4" thick patty. Cheese was perfectly melted and the lettuce and pickles were portioned for just the right amount. The Philly cheese steak We tried this bc of the high rating and it didn't fail. I placed my order then a UPS driver ordered his lunch. By then my husband decided he wanted to order. We were happy that the UPS driver got his food before us bc he's on the clock and we were not. We got our food brought out together and we didn't have to wait for one an others food. It's was a great game plan. Bravo. Don't like Food Truck fool you. There is plenty of outdoor seating and it's all under shade. I saw a big swamp cooler for those stickier days. Looks like even had space for some live music. The menu had tons to offer with all kinds of drinks and offered daily specials. Food truck with a covered picnic area. Great food and friendly service! The biscuits and gravy were tasty; added a side sausage patty but the gravy had sausage also. I had a bacon, egg & cheese sandwich on brioche that was loaded with bacon! Lattes were made well, limited flavors but still very good. I would eat here again! read more

So we are on an island where bigotry is the norm. It was so nice to find this coffee shop that isn't flying flags of hatred and is welcoming of all its guests. The coffee was just what I was looking for. They are also dog friendly. It's just off the beaten path and you might miss it if you're not looking for it. Went for a caffeine pick me up mid day and ordered a coffee. Sadly there was no half and half or other type creamers nor sweeteners other than some sugar that had been sitting outside and was clumpy. The ladies were super friendly and seemed like they genuinely wanted me to enjoy their drink. They offered almond milk (not almond creamer) but I personally prefer something thicker. Went there on a Sunday morning and it was pretty busy so the wait wasn't short, but that's a good sign compared to no one else being there at all. Breakfast sandwich was made to order, no ready-made, cold ingredients. Toast could have have been toasted more but the taste and temp were good. They have some new workers who were clearly still learning but the owners/managers were friendly and the food was good. We will be back when in town again. read more
