    Shrimp tacos

I normally don't leave reviews, and especially not bad ones, this place was the worst place i've eaten in a very long time. We're in town for vacation like most others, and decided to swing by for lunch for something hopefully cheap. There were 4 of us, and the bill came out to $120 with no alcohol and 2 people splitting something. Our server seemed to not know what he was doing. We ordered just 3 corn and 3 flour tortillas, and he came back with 3 of each, containing 12 total tortillas we had to pay for. That wasn't a big deal, nor my biggest gripe. The queso had beef in it, and was simply not good. The queso was mostly unseasoned ground beef with a splash of queso. After we ordered, my dad ordered A torta with pickled jalapeño. The sever then brings out 3 whole grilled jalapeños a minute, and after the rest of our food comes out. all of our food was good enough, but they never brought out the torta? After my dad asked, they argued that he just ordered the 3 jalepenos . One more small gripe is that I ordered grilled shrimp tacos, and they gave me fried ones, no biggie, not something that id normally mention, I just felt I had to add. The atmosphere of the restaurant is just like a normal mediocre mexican joint, no gripes. Other than the bathrooms are a wee bit ran down. Anyway, tldr; if you're in the area, and want good mexican food, go to tia juanita's, or if you want cheap really good food, go to the nauti beaver across the street. I'd recommend to stay away.

Spoiled milk to start. Then I ordered the ribeye and eggs for breakfast... my meat was black. Absolutely spoiled and disgusting and they still brought it to my table. This was also our second lousy trip here.. do not r

Gs is a friendly local, family owned restaurant. We come here enough that they know you when you come in. They aren't always fast but they are usually good. I highly recommend the abuelitoes plate (street tacos), they are probably the best thing on the menu. Fajita Beef on corn.

Came to eat here while on vacation in Crystal Beach. We had a party of 8 and we were able to get seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and kept our drinks topped off. I ordered the fajitas and believe me when I tell you, that these were the best fajitas I have ever had!! So flavorful and cooked just right. My husband ordered the street tacos, my son ordered chicken nuggets and fries, and my daughter got the kids cheese enchilada. They were all satisfied with their food. My daughter ate all of her food, and my son even added that the chicken nuggets tasted like McDonald's so he was happy. If I ever come back to Crystal Beach I will definitely eat here again.

    Nasty gross burrito

AWFUL! Absolutely worst place here! Our food was cold, gross, flies everywhere and my French toast was burnt and the owner said they would not remake it but they would take it off the bill. We didn't ask for a discount I just wanted French toast not badly burnt and they refused to make a fresh one. Very rude and disrespectful owner. Our waiter was great but the food was disgusting!

    Veggie Burrito

Nicer inside than it looked from the outside. Bright and clean, even the restroom, and the staff was friendly. We had the Veggie Breakfast Burrito and a Barbacoa Burrito. Nice thin tortillas, small red potatoes and plenty of cilantro on the side. Refried beans did not seem homemade but were ok. Salsa was fresh but not spicy enough for our liking. Overall, good taste and value.

Food was good. Fajitas were perfectly cooked and tender. Service was good....server was extremely attentive. Ambiance is fine...regular Mexican type decore....would vist again.

WTF. We think this might be a cheese enchilada.

I was visiting from out of town at a beach house a family friend kindly let us use and she said we absolutely had to stop in for dinner here one evening. We were a larger group of 8 but they had no problem accommodating us. They don't take reservations but we called earlier in the day and they told us when to come in for dinner service (6 on the dot) and they had an area set up for our group. I can't rave enough about this place. The service was impeccable and every staff we interacted with so, so friendly and welcoming to us. Most of our table went with their many diverse seafood options and said how delicious everything was. I wasn't in a seafood mood and opted instead for the grilled chicken smothered with bell peppers and mushrooms. I was genuinely shocked by how moist and juicy the chicken was and loved the blackened cajun seasoning used on it. The salad that comes with the entree was also a VERY generous size and you could easily get filled up on it if not careful. No visit to Bolivar will complete now without stopping into Stingaree from now on.

Everything was delicious, but the surprise star was the mango habanero dipping sauce. 10/10. Hush puppies dipped in that were amazing. Really anything... it paired with the oysters or shrimp, too. The coleslaw was the only miss, but it's complimentary. Mine was a bit frozen still and relatively flavorless. Skip it and you'll be just as happy. The desserts were all amazing. Chocolate cake and key lime pie were HUGE and great. The ... Chocolate torte... I think it was... was excellent. I'm not gluten sensitive, it was just worth trying. Our waitress, Kristina, was patient with the kids and all our questions. Such a great place. If we weren't stuffed to the girls, we'd consider hitting it up for supper before leaving town.

We completely understand being new, but the experience became uncomfortable and honestly disrespectful at times. We were a very easy table, polite the entire time, and there for about two hours. During that whole time, he only refilled around four drinks total and acted inconvenienced anytime someone asked for anything. At one point, a girl at our table asked for a Shirley Temple refill and he banged his head against the drink tray and scoffed in frustration. It felt like he was complaining about doing the bare minimum, which made everyone at the table really uncomfortable. Throughout the night he made frustrated comments while taking orders and seemed visibly overwhelmed. For a party of 12, especially on someone's second day, management should have stepped in to help more. We could also clearly see the server and manager talking about our table inside the restaurant multiple times, and it definitely did not seem professional or positive. Which is absolutely NOT OKAY. Another issue was that we had refilled our chips three times before being told there would be an extra charge, something that should have been explained upfront when we first ordered refills. The restaurant was also very empty, so it was surprising how poorly the situation was handled. Again, the food itself was amazing, but the service and professionalism unfortunately made the overall experience frustrating and uncomfortable.
