Many yelpers describe this place as a hole in the wall, that's really an understatement. It's sits in the corner of a very small strip center next to a vape and smoke shop. One thing that is not mentioned is that there's less than 8 parking spaces in the lot. I came here to get some breakfast tacos, but discovered they don't make them. You can get their burritos and you'll have it their way not your way. They do have a breakfast and lunch menu but not a dinner menu. I decided on that Papas burro and the egg and sausage burritos. Apparently they give you only verde sauce, no red salsa. Personally, I'd like to see them make breakfast tacos made to order which would have me coming back. I will say that the two burritos were hot, filling and good. There are some cold drinks next to the door and 8 tables to sit at. There's no drive-through window and it does help if you speak Spanish. First time we've checked this place out! If you blink you'll miss it. Small hole in the wall atmosphere. I had the huevos rancheros and husband had Migas Mexicans, our standard by which we measure TexMex. The ranchero sauce was different and delicious, a bright orange color, thick and creamy and not outrageously spicy. A huge platter for $10! Refried beans were spectacular, great flavor. First and foremost, authentic Mexican cafe. Service was excellent and the young boy acting as door greeter was priceless. Two servers were attentive and helpful. This is the epitome of hole in the wall. We stopped in for breakfast and got the migas burrito. It was so amazing. The eggs with the crunchy tortillas and the tortilla it was wrapped in were so fresh and delicious. We also had horchata and it was the best horchata I've ever had. We wanted to seek out a local spot for breakfast and came upon this quaint little place. They have about 7 tables inside for dining in. They seem popular for to-go orders. The breakfast menu is extensive, so much that I had a hard time deciding. I went for my usual chilaquiles in the end and my family had various breakfast tacos. The food was brought out shortly and everything was hot and fresh. My chilaquiles was simple and tasty with the eggs cooked just right. My family's breakfast tacos had a good amount of filling and was also tasty. The green salsa that was brought out was slightly warm and had the perfect amount of kick to it without being too spicy. I recently moved here from Miami, and was looking for a joint with my aunt, who is a local. We decided upon this inconspicuous spot after multiple failed attempts at many bigger name restaurants. Boy were we in for a surprise... On my first visit I had the fajita quesadilla, while my aunt had the soup (fideo). The second time we came here was for breakfast, whereupon I had the burrito de papas and my aunt had the chilaquiles. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the food. My quesadilla had real steak in it - and it was good! Such great flavor, pouring out of each and every bite. For what it's worth, my aunt loved the soup as well. The quality, and quantity, of the breakfast was astounding - not to mention the great price! My burrito, which was the size of a small infant, was exquisite. Perfect combination of eggs, bacon, and potato. The quality of the bacon was also excellent. I was extremely surprised. My aunt couldn't say enough about her chilaquiles. We have definitely found our new "joint." Do your self a favor and pass by this little, unassuming, place. You will be in for treat. We chose not purchase any food, because we didn't like the the hygiene of the restaurant. We did purchase a Coke and a mineral water $6.50. First off, social distancing was nonexistent. Restaurant was running at full capacity with less than 6 feet of space between full tables. This is a total dive but so worth the visit! This is authentic Mexican food and their beans are SO good! My husband and I each had the Huevos Ranchero in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the place was a bit warm. There were lots of people coming in to pick up to go orders. I would recommend this if you want a nice cool place to eat. We took a burrito (eggs and chorizo) to go for my daughter. She said it was very good. She is very picky about chorizo and she usually doesn't like beans. So many Mexican restaurants fail on their ability to cook beans. These were the best beans we've had in a very long time. Service isn't super fast but that's due to so many to go orders that are called in. I could hear the person at the desk constantly taking orders. I would definitely recommend this place and recommend placing your order ahead of time. Technically, you could call ahead and then just eat in the restaurant, so that the food doesn't cool off in transit. Next time we're in Galveston, we'll be back! read more

This place is breakfast perfection. The staff are friendly. They are quick to refill your coffee and if their breakfast burritos are the best I've found. The beans are seasoned just right, the tortilla is homemade and the tomatillo sauce is spicy and flavorful. If you are in Galveston, give this place a try. read more

While the food may be good here i will say the risk here is high for covid. The staff wears a mask and they have signs on the door asking to wear a mask however, they will not turn you down if you walk in without a mask, they do not enforce the mask if you're waiting for a to go order or when you go up to pay. If you complain, the server will say its up to the owner and the owner won't come out from the kitchen and will tell she she no speak English. Good luck. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in the whole world! It may not look like much on the inside or outside but the food is incredible. I'm very picky when it comes to Mexican food but Los Primos has yet to disappoint. I always get the breakfast burrito with bacon, eggs, beans, cheese and avocado. The green sauce is really hot so be careful not to use too much. The orange/red sauce is mild and yummy. My husband usually gets the migas burrito or the adobo pork. Both are delicious. We have always gone to this little restaurant ever since they first opened, but we will not be returning anymore. The service was awful this time. I ordered super tacos, only the two tacos, but recieved the whole plate with beans and rice. That wasn't so bad, but I had ordered charro beans and received charro and the refried on the plate. I don't think the waitress understood much English, so it was understandable. The super tacos were so spicy I could only eat one and afterwards could barely taste the rest of my food. I love spicy, but these were too spicy to be enjoyable. They have never been spicy like that in the past. The charro beans were different than usual as well, but had good flavor. I'm definitely not the type to complain, so I just went with it.. My husband ordered only a burrito and we ate a small plate of chips that had only shredded cheese melted on top of them, maybe 12 chips max, never received chips and salsa when we sat down. We ordered two ice teas. We went to go pay and our bill was almost $40!!!! We did not eat $40 worth of food. The waitress/ cashier overcharged us. After a tip, it was over $40 and she was extremely rude before we left asking if we needed a receipt. My husband looked at her like she was crazy for that price.
