A bit confusing - we thought we walked into limón paradise but were seated at Mr taco- or is it all the same- I don't know? but we were seated in the main restaurant- I ordered tacos- they were OK. Very welcoming and friendly staff. I was biking the island and saw a couple outside enjoying the shrimp cocktail. I made a U-turn and had to order the one. Not only was it as good as it looked but the great service somehow made it taste better! In the coming weeks they will expand their hours and square footage to 2 am on weekends and also sell liquor! read more

Amazing place to get tacos and dessert!!! I ordered the street tacos pastor, empanadas, flauntas, and mangonada. All were delicious and freshly made in-house, you can actually watch them chop fresh fruit while you wait. Service is fast and the owners are super friendly. Prices are also pretty reasonable!! I highly recommend this place if you're ever in Galveston! read more

Went to this place excited they had nachos but ended up getting tinga nachos which a was a better choice thus the only reason it got stars. For starters the place was empty so there should not have been hurried to order. While ordering we were still looking at what else to order, mind you there wasn't even a minute pausé talking in real time not figurative. Mid order the older lady taking order just cut me off and gave me total, I just brushed it off and paid. We clearly said it was to go several times. The curritos which where mostly nonexistent were handed in an open box, one in the bottom part of a Togo box the other on the lid. Again that would have not been much of an issue the could have just put foil over it yet they struggle back and forth with what she said that's how the serve to go and the older gentleman who seemed embarrassed said he wasn't told it was to go. Then the younger man preps the strawberries and cream in a bowl after they had already struggled with the cuerritos because it was supposed to be to go. Oddly the tinga nachos and Gorditas were bagged to go yet he proceeded to make the strawberries in bowls. Again we were the only ones there. I also ordered a preparada which states cup of fruit and I quote "large cup with a lot of fruit" yet he took a large cup and filled it with ice. It was a large cup of ice with decorative fruit on top. It was filled with squirt and Chile. I was hesitant and thought there was a misunderstanding and told him I ordered a preparada and he said yes that's it. I said I thought it was a cup of fruit. At this point I was already mad. I could have accepted the charge discrepancies because I know using square charges and small businesses struggle but that and everything else is just not ok. And yes ma'am I saw your faulty addition with each item, 3.99 plus 3.99 is not 9.20 and that's just for the 2 orders of strawberries and cream, each item was more when written on paper then she took those totals and added them up, and yes ma'am this is why I did not tip even after you turned the screen to look at it for my second transaction! Tinga nachos were good I do give them that but that's it. read more

First of all you have to pay for parking on the app to go here and I couldn't get any signal to pay for it so my boyfriend told me to rush in and get what I wanted which was CORN, MEXICAN CORN. They had it in a cup which is called esquite which is fine by me. I ordered that and a container of fresh fruit. It took a little bit and I was the only customer there at the time. My corn was in a bowl which was mostly the water from the corn which the mayo and cheese on the top of the corn. by the time I got back in the car from waiting on the fruit it was like a corn soup which made me sad because I had been craving it. The fruit here was very good. Very fresh and for the price it was very nice. The corn on the other hand I wish hadn't had so much water in it. But I guess my craving was satisfied for a few seconds while I was waiting for the fruit. Oh well. read more

We placed our order, the lady that took our order repeated it to us, we waited about 10 minutes got 2 of the 3 things we ordered, went up to ask where the rest of our order was told we only ordered 2 things not 3. Then the gentleman that was preparing the raspas then started to argue with us that we only ordered 2 things. Told him we ordered 3, he pulls the reciept and goes see only 2 things. Had to order the third thing again and wait another 5 minutes for it. Dont recommend this place. Horrible service. Never again. read more

I just love, love this place! There is just a great energy about it and everything is so fresh and bright and appealing, from their happy go lucky attitudes to the palm trees to the amazing tropical fruit / Italian Ice and Ice Cream explosion desserts.... Im giving this place 1 star because I can't give it 0 stars. I stopped in last night to grab a "Licuado de Mango", which is a Mango smoothie. The guy at the register was super unprofessional. He was holding a baby while taking my order. I stepped into the restroom and there was no AC in the restroom. When I came out my order hadn't even been made so I actually saw this man with the baby in his left arm, make my smoothie. He did not wash his hands, and grabbed the mango slices WITH HIS BARE HAND, and threw them in the blender. He used a whole scoop of what looked like half of a cup of sugar! When he gave me my smoothie I didn't even want to try it. I took one sip of it and all I could even feel in my mouth was the finely crushed ice and the sugar crystals. I walked out and threw it straight in the trash. I Paid $4.05 for this smoothie to go in the trash. This place is a joke. Don't waste your money. read more

Great elote and delicious watermelon aguas frescas! The corn was a bit watery but we were given the option to put a variety of hot sauces and spices on top of the elote. Elote was $4.25 and agua frescas was $3.75 read more
