    I ordered their service and they installed it on Wednesday. It's the Monday after and I'm on the verge of a mental break down. WORSE PEOPLE EVER!!! When the installer showed up they said they couldn't install the equipment on a 1 story roof. When explained we live in the trees and that we told the people when we called to set up the service the same thing - we won't be able to get good service from the ground. He went ahead and installed it and told us to call back in to have another tech come out. We had another tech coming out on Saturday so we waited for them to show. When the new tech showed on Saturday they told us that yes it was a poor placement. They were unable to fix it at that time because they were only out to install tv. When we asked what to do we were told to call it in. So as the tech installing our tv worked on that I called in. That's when Hughesnet said that they had never heard of not being able to install on a 1 story roof and that unfortunately I would have to call back Monday to have a tech come re evaluate the placement. They said I had up to 7 days after install to have a tech out for free. Today is Monday and my husband spent over 5+ hours on the phone with Hughesnet. Yes let me repeat that - OVER 5 HOURS ON THE PHONE. And still wasn't able to get a solution. At one point he was speaking to someone that had a note on our account that services were to be terminated - which we never did or said such a thing. I have now spent over 2 hours on the phone only for them to tell me - "we can send a tech but it will be a charge to you" "we will cancel but will be $8** (not sure the exact amount) early termination fee". Are you kidding me. I haven't even had your service a week and can't even get google to open up because the service is so bad. And you want to charge me because your original tech was lazy. Been looking to see where to write a review but Yelp is the only place I can find. I'm actively looking for a lawyer to go after Hughesnet. And at this point I will spend the money for the lawyer for this mess. It's the point that you have treated me so poorly that I'm not going to eat this. I can't even start to comprehend how you think your going to charge me for your techs mess up on top of you wanted to cancel my service and think I'm going to eat that cost. ABSOLUTE WORSE COMPANY EVER!!! I WOULDNT USE THEM IF THEY WERE THE LAST PEOPLE ON EARTH. Horrible horrible horrible people. I only have them 1 star because I had to give them something. You can see for yourself in the picture where my equipment is located and they feel is good - far from it!! I included where the Dish tech placed theirs because the service is better.

    HughesNet is the worst! Internet, customer service, and billing is terrible. Customer service is out of the country.

I didn't like the work they were doing up and down my block, so I began looking at reviews as they started to do their work in front of my property. Of course, while reading bad reviews about their installation, they hit my gas line. Nicor had to come out to repair it. Nicor was quick and professional. They had my gas back up in a couple hours from the original outage. Now, Nicor is going to have to run a new line to my house. We'll see. If they come back and fix my lawn, I'll update this review to reflect it. I originally gave them one star and was harsher in my review, but so far they have been following up on the lawn repairs at my house and the surrounding properties. *Update - Ezee Fiber has reached out already, which is promising. **Update 2 - They showed up yesterday to check on my lawn repairs. Some looked good to ok, but a couple were looking bad. BUT, to their credit, they put down some fresh soil, seed and cover in the spots that needed more help. I did not expect that kind of follow-up, so I was pleasantly surprised.

I went onto google and rated/fried the store that it happened in and a Manager named Dave told me to email Prime - still refusing to deal with the fraudulent employee. I've emailed them multiple times, the only email I got back was in reply to my initial complaint saying they'd resolve it in 24-48 hours and that was over a month ago now. I have now stepped up and have been emailing them daily with NO replies. This employee needs to be FIRED. It took me hours to get over $400 worth of charges off my bill (from ATT corporate). Prime and their ATT Store in North Providence Rhode Island refuse to do anything about this, even with all the evidence I provided. They are the absolute worst. I'm not going away until they resolve this. AVOID any store that Prime owns, find another way if you wish to stay with ATT. Look at their map, and find another store, and speak up against such unauthorized and ILLEGAL behavior of their employees and the stores that are covering for them!!!!
