    I originally thought this was a trustworthy dealership, but only a couple of months after having my car, I found out they had wiped quite a few permanent codes from my vehicle in order to sell it. They are friendly & have great customer service, but don't be fooled. They sell lemons! Would not recommend. UPDATE!: Took my car to the dealership & they told me the engine is fried! Thank God it is covered under manufacturer's warranty. Clearly Hughes Honda service department and managers knew this before they wiped the permanent codes from my computer. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

    I purchased a SUBARU from this location about a month ago. the signing process was sketchy. there…read morewas no negotiating no asking me anything on what i wanted or didnt want. they just prepped papers and said to sign and didnt give much information at the time. it felt very rushed and sketchy. but.. im young. i was in a position where i NEEDED a vehicle right then.. so i signed.. didnt really think much of it all at the time.. its only me looking back at it now that im seeing where it was sketchy. on the way home with my "new to me" car.. it wouldnt accelerate correctly and when on cruise control, instead of keeping up speed it would slow down. called them the next day and they said to bring it in and they would look at it. when my fiancé took it up there, they had paperwork already lined up and a loaner set up and took the key to my car and sent him on his way home without even getting my name, phone number, anything. he said he felt rushed and confused. when i called up there the next day and every day after that for i think they had my car for maybe 4 days... they had to do a lot of research to figure out what car was mine.. because nothing was put together with my name and number or anything with my car... sketchy. weird. they finally tell me that it had something to do with my air duct going to my turbo boost and the spring clamp... that gets replaced and they deliver my car back to me to my job. that was nice. when i went o leave work at the end of the day, as soon as i cranked up my car, every light on the dash is on. all features turned off. car is in "X-MODE" and i cannot turn that off. im in contact with the service manager. basically i bring the car back up there and he connects it to the computer. says its a bunch of "history codes, must be something with the wiring or electrical and if it is electrical, ill need to take it to the Subaru dealership" they cleared out the codes. everything is good on my way back to work. (i took an extended lunch for this.. hour drive there and back). fast forward. i go to leave work at the end of the day. 5 minutes from work.... all the lights come back on while im driving. automatically puts itself back in "X-MODE" (x-mode is a mode that is for when you are in deep snow or mud- and it turns off all special features for safety reasons such as lane control and cruise control and many more) i call the service manager. he said ill have to take it to subaru it must be electrical. the next day we get my car to Macon Subaru. they look at my car and do a diagnostic for me for free but tell me the extended warranty i purchased (which wasnt even explained to me when signing) didnt cover for Subaru to fix it... but the guy there was very nice and he printed out and wrote out exactly what was wrong and what part i needed (catalytic converter) and we too my car back to hyundai in WR. they tell me they will order the part. it should take 2 days to come in. once it comes in they will come get my car from me, leave me a loaner, fix my car, and bring my car back to me. we were told this march 3rd. march 5th - i receive and automated text telling me to log into the customer portal which says the part should be delivered. service manager says they didnt. march 9th - i contact the manager again because there has been no contact. he says theres still no part. march 13th - i call every extention there and finally got ahold of someone. they tell me the part delivered the 12th. oh wonderful. why has nobody contacted me. they say they are waiting on a loaner to be available.... they leave a message for the manager to call me back. **no call** it is now march 17th. NO CONTACT. i am absolutely livid about my experience. and the fact i have a "new to me" car and i havent even been able to actually enjoy it! i purchased my car February 17th. i have had it for exactly one month. and it has not worked properly since i bought it. and the lack of communication has been the most upsetting part. honestly if there was just more honest open communication about what was happening... i wouldnt even be as upset. once this car is fixed. i will not go back to this location. highly displeased.

I drove all the way in from Athens. Once I got on the lot I was helped by Scott/Scottie. Definitely ask for him if you go. He has a lovely approach and was a pleasure to talk to. He was not at all overbearing and I really enjoyed spending time with him and was glad he was the one helping me. I really appreciate honest people and I felt like Scott was. I came really early on a Saturday and none of the detailers were around yet, and Virginia and Scott both volunteered to wash my car! As far as I know they figured something else out to get it clean but they seemed flat out determined at the time. It was a nice gesture. I love my new car and have 0 complaints! So far a great experience! Probably the best I've had while buying a car.

Very poor customer service I understand a sale is a sale in their eyes but to make it worse I received a email that morning at random saying all cars had been marked down to make room for new inventory (reduced around $300) why would you do that when I never had tried to discuss price I was willing to pay asking price just very poor customer service will not recommend business for anyone

It was going to be an expensive repair, so I asked them if they could help me out on the bill. In the end, when I asked them, they reduced the price of the repair by half. GM customer assistance also threw in an oil change voucher for me. So I'm going to revise my estimate of their service department. Very nicely done.

Before buying, I paid over $200 for a pre-purchase inspection at Five Star Ford, where I was told the truck was 100% good to go with no issues. After the purchase, I noticed oil on the ground beneath the truck. Initially, I thought it could've been from something minor like a filter change, but when I brought it back to Five Star Ford, a technician outright confirmed in front of me that the truck was leaking oil and that this was observed the day of the inspection. Despite this, the oil leak--and apparently other issues--were omitted from the inspection report I paid for. I requested an updated inspection report from the general manager to reflect the oil leak and any other undisclosed problems, but he refused to provide one. It's clear to me that these dealerships worked together to push the sale while failing to document known issues with the truck. While the price was adjusted slightly after I initially mentioned seeing oil, I feel misled and disappointed by the lack of transparency and professionalism from both dealerships. I'd like an explanation for how this happened and what steps will be taken to make this right. Looks to be a reason this place is rated only 1.8 out of 5.

Brad Boone recently had his 2013 Toyota Tundra towed to Lowe Toyota's service department after experiencing starting issues. He had already replaced the neutral safety switch himself (with input from actual mechanics), but it clearly needed to be adjusted or reinstalled correctly. We told the service advisor, Gina (#1548), exactly what was done and exactly what we wanted/needed: check the switch, adjust it, and if needed, replace the computer stent. Gina said they'd perform a diagnostic for $140. Fine. Less than an hour later, she called back and said it "had nothing to do with the neutral safety switch"... but also said it did need a slight adjustment (so... which is it?). Then she dropped a $1,400 starter replacement quote on us. She claimed the truck was immobile and had to be "pushed into a spot"--so we arranged another tow to get it out of their shady hands. Here's where things get insulting: when we arrived to meet the tow truck, the Tundra started perfectly. No delay. No struggle. Just started right up. Gina never bothered to mention that the truck was now driveable. She just let us think it was dead. Why? Because they were hoping we'd blindly authorize a $1,400 starter replacement we didn't need. We drove straight to Advance Auto Parts. Had a real diagnostic run on the spot. Guess what code popped up? The neutral safety switch. That's it. No starter issues. No mysterious "mechanic-only" codes. Just exactly what we suspected in the first place. The fact that Lowe Toyota tried to upsell a totally unnecessary repair, misrepresented the status of the vehicle, and failed to communicate basic facts is unethical at best and fraudulent at worst. This kind of dishonesty is why people don't trust dealership service departments. Save yourself the stress, money, and insult--take your car somewhere honest. Lowe Toyota is definitely not it.
