AMAZING people, the best family owned business we've been too! They were all so helpful and welcoming! & not to mention the wine combos they informed me about 10/10 amazing place! Will be back!

***Dog Friendly Outdoor Seating!*** Huffman's Vineyard is a treasure in Onslow County! Most East Coast North Carolina wineries focus on Muscadine wine; however, Huffman's Vineyard carries a wine for everyone! They have summer wines, sweet wines, dry wines, and more full bodied wines such as Norton (which is almost impossible to find in this area). Tastings are inexpensive and the staff are kind. The winery is family owned and has a very cozy feel. Outside seating is available along with Giant Jenga and cornhole for vineyard guests to enjoy while they drink the wine of their choice. The small shop located inside has lovely little nicknacks and wine humor tshirts. Huffman's Vineyard also has Wine Wednesdays! This is the best relaxing afternoon in Onslow County!

What a wonderful, relaxing afternoon we had at Huffman Vineyards! It's a family owned place and you definitely feel right at home! We came with our toddler and he kept busy with the toys they had set up for him! There's also tons of room outside for kids to run around. They also let us walk through the first 4 rows of vines to taste the grapes! The green apple Riesling was my favorite, very crisp and refreshing. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch where they played good, chill music and our son was able to run around without going to far. We will definitely be back!

What other vineyard does this!? So awesome

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this little vineyard. As a local this is my go to place to just relax, enjoy a delicious glass of locally crafted wine, and spend time with my "wine family". There aren't many places you can go with the whole family and feel welcome right off the bat. The kids have their own play area or they are welcome to run and play out back in the large yard or climb the old oak tree outside. You don't have to just Sit and Sip, grab a glass and go shopping in the extensive gift shop that includes goodies such as handmade jewelry by a local artist, handcrafted soaps, and lots of fun tees and snacks as well! You've gotta try a fun wine blend and be sure to check out "Potluck Friday" in which customers are encouraged to make fun dishes to bring and share and On Saturday's they have "Sampler Saturday" featuring different food items that are sold in the shop.

Adorable little place to get a glass of wine, very small but cozy, 10 samples for $7.00 and lots of wines to chose from, summer nights one is so good!

This vineyard was super cute. The owners were so nice. My favorite wine was the strawberry semi sweet. I will definitely come back!

It opened back in 1972 and has been family-owned for three generations. Their wines are typically made from muscadine and scuppernong grapes. I learned that they also carry Mothervine Wine, which comes from clippings of the 400-year-old vine in Roanoke Island. Duplin Winery was allowed to take clippings from this Mother Vine and established a new vineyard. Legend suggests the vine may have been planted by Croatan Native Americans or settlers of the Lost Colony. Scuppernong grapes are a white muscadine variety that is North Carolina's official state fruit. Duplin Winery is also known as the winery of the South. There is a large parking lot. The building's exterior looks rustic. Inside, you will be greeted when you enter the door. Remember to get your basket or cart, as it is difficult to carry items without one. The first room has the wines and food products. They had a section for sampling the dips, salsas, crackers and other items. The other room has the wine tasting and gift shop. Then, beyond that, there is the Bistro. I was delighted to find non-alcoholic wines. They offered Muscadine cider, Scuppernong (white), and Muscadine (red). I left with all three. While I didn't get to try the specific Mothervine wine, I did get to try the Alcohol-Free Scuppernong at the Bistro, which features the same historic state fruit variety that made the Mother Vine famous! The gift shop has items to find those perfect gifts or just something for yourself. From the rustic charm to the friendly greeting at the door, Duplin Winery truly lives up to its reputation as the 'Winery of the South.' It's a great stop for the history, the gifts, and the delicious sweet treats.
