There is the same variety of the foods we love and the store is always clean with helpful staff. Recently, as I was checking out, the cashier told me that one of my food choices was "buy one get one free" and if I wanted the free one the bagger would get it for me--which he gladly did, and faster than I could have done. Also, the Meat Dept Manager was very helpful with my order for our New Year's Eve party .

(We chose…read moreKappy's, as local a FB group suggested them and we wanted to support those affected by the hurricanes.) For our 3 day rental, we paid $575. The initial golf cart that was delivered did not have seatbelts. We asked for a golf cart with seatbelts (we have small children) and were told by Brandy (the manager) that FL law for Boca Grande does not require seatbelts. They agreed to an exchange, and delivered a golf cart that was at least 25+ years old. PLEASE see attached picture. We frequently vacation and rent golf carts all over Florida and have NEVER had this type of experience. We have golf club memberships and have never seen golf carts this "vintage" in circulation. They are NOT pictured on their website. We strongly suggest other companies, as we paid MORE than other local vendors and received product that is EMBARRASSING to drive.

I think the manager was behind the counter and I could see she was upset by how slow the pace was moving in the back, but all THREE of my subs were wrong. I had my sub in my boyfriend's wrap + his toppings + my condiments, and he had my sub also with his toppings and my condiments. Honestly ruined my day lmao

If you are unfamiliar with the island, there are very few grocery stores you can shop at, so if you are actually on Captiva, this is your spot. There are more on Sanibel but that is a further drive. They also sell some merchandise, body items such as sunscreen and hats and then beer, wine, and liquor. We always stop here a few times while staying on the island. There are also fruits and vegetables as well as other cold items, pre made salads, dry stock items, such as breads, sauces, chips, etc. Something we always get is one of their sandwiches. They do make sandwiches to order as well using Boar Head items. For a small store, their wine and beer sections are very large. They even have a walk-in cooler so you can grab drinks cold already. We were able to find almost everything we were looking for or missed bringing with us. They welcomed us and said hello. The two guys we encountered were both very friendly and nice. We will continue to come here. It is convenient for where my family stays and we always run out of something such as bread or forget something. It is a perfect place to grab those last-minute items. I have even purchased some items here for gifts. If you are in the area I would definitely stop here for any last-minute items, you need.
