I had my hair colored by Jenn but there was a lot of gray still showing. Jenn recolored my hair and gave me a complimentary cut.

I got to the salon and met with an assistant, who asked me what I wanted and then half heartedly shampoo'd my hair. Not a very thorough wash. Then the stylist gave me a blowout (which I liked) and dry cut my hair. I have medium length, thick hair- she cut it in less than five minutes. The whole experience from start to finish, was 30 minutes, which seemed really quick. It wasn't until I washed and styled it myself that I realized just how awful this haircut is. The layers are so choppy and uneven. The ends are blunt. No matter what I do it looks terrible. To top it off, she asked if I'd like some waves in my hair at the end and failed to mention this would add ten dollars to my service. I wouldn't have paid that if I'd known. I'm so disappointed- I paid around $70 with tip and I can't wait for it to grow out.

I absolutely adore everyone at this salon. I've been to numerous stylists but I always go back to Kyli. While the salon is pricey, the results are absolutely unmatched! I've never walked out of a salon feeling as proud of my haircut as when I started coming here. They are masters at color - picking the right shade for your skin and hair and getting it just how you want it. I get hand painted color and i get so many compliments. I once was in a rush and went to another salon and was so distraught about the awful cut I got the night before an interview that the stylists at Hudson squeezed me in 15 minutes before closing to fix it. They're kind and they're absolute pros. You won't be disappointed!

My hair was a hot mess

I never write reviews but so happy with my hair I though I should. I absolutely loved this place and the atmosphere is a plus. I don't have enough words to describe the amazing work Aubrey did to my hair, she really took her time and did it better than I imagined. I loved how clean and relaxing the salon is. And on top of that I can not believe how reasonable the PRICES are here. The best part is that they care about your hair. I walked out looking like a different person. Would highly recommend getting your hair done here=]

This is what my hair looks like now AFTER SHE TRIED TO FIX IT. A giant white and orange skunk stripe.

Beware of this salon. If they mess up your hair they will make you pay to get it fixed, no refunds! My roots turned orange and didn't lift enough to match my existing blonde. After trying to fix it I now have a giant solid skunky white and orange band of hair right in the front that doesn't blend in. It looks ridiculous when I put my hair behind my ears or up in a pony tail. When it's up in a pony tail I have a giant white racetrack down the middle. It's obvious they need to fix it more by breaking it up with lowlights or something, but IM RESPONSIBLE TO PAY FOR IT! They want me to pay $120 to fix this??! How is this my fault? Please tell me I'm not crazy. Here is a photo of my hair AFTER it was "FIXED". Would you be ok with your hair looking like this??? The stylist (whom I won't name because I'm not that evil) said there is nothing else she can do! That "she doesn't get paid hourly and has already spent 9 HOURS highlighting my hair."EVEN THE OWNER THINKS I SHOULD PAY $120 TO FIX IT on top of the $275 IVE ALREADY PAID! Oh and to top it off they told me because I used my own fanola no yellow shampoo instead of theirs at the salon that it VOIDS the guarantee. When I begged other stylists to help me the manager accused me of harassment!! Told me to go to a different salon. My heart was crushed!! So rude, inappropriate and unprofessional!! After sharing my story on social platforms at least 18 other customers went through the same thing at this salon!!

Just an FYI
Jamie M.

I visited here back in June. The fact they have late hours was the best part about this place. I was expecting more to be done with my high lights, but it was more just a touch up than adding more to what I already had. For $200 I find that a bit ridiculous considering I've paid less for better service.

Sarah inspected my hair and the color, she inquired about what products I use as well as any sensitivities or allergies. We discussed the style I wanted. She was very honest and open in saying we weren't going to get there in one cut due to previous cut at another salon. I knew going in it was going to be a process to get the hairstyle that I wanted given the condition of my hair. I was pleasantly surprised at the foot stools to make your dryer time and hair wash more comfortable. From my initial call to the salon through the entire process, everything was pleasant, relaxing, explained thoroughly, and ended well! Each individual has unique hair that responds and behaves in a unique manner . It takes time for a stylist to learn your growth rate of hair and the quirks of your hair. It is literally a process, that requires patience and the building of the relationship. If you're going in for a color, the initial cost, depending on the condition of your hair, may be more because more work and product may be needed. Regular maintenance reduces that issue for most. So, additional costs for extra product was not a problem. I now have the baseline to get my hair where I want it to be. I had a wonderful experience, a very peaceful and relaxing experience. I look forward to my next visit and working with Sarah and Hannah to get the dream hairstyle.

But Today, I brought my nieces who are visiting to get their hair done. As I was getting ready to check out, my son, a one and a half year old, started screaming. The owner of the salon stated, "can they take him outside? He's stressing me out." I'm appalled at what I heard her say and can easily file an ADA claim. Never have I been treated like this. Im sorry to Hannah and Alex because I really like them but I will never come back here again.

I don't typically leave bad reviews, but if you come here avoid to Julie/Julia at all costs. I get…read moreit, it's just a $20 hair cut, but this goes beyond any cheap hair cut expectations. I came with my mom here hoping for a quick and easy hair cut, since this would be her first after healing from her cancer surgery and radiation. My mom has some nerve pain in her ear and neck and after explicitly telling Julie this she completely ignored her being in pain or flinching when she was trimming on that side, not asking if she was okay or checking in at all other than to say "almost done" when she was visibly past the point of pain. The entire hair cut she talked about ONLY herself (I get it if you're having a rough day, but your clients aren't your therapist). Ironically, she talked about her own issues with nerve pain, and I would have assumed that made her knowledgeable or at least intuitive to other people with the same issues. Apparently not. When blow drying she directly blew in her face even after my mom told her it was too hot MULTIPLE times. At the end of the hair cut she nicked my moms ear enough for it to bleed and didn't say anything, and never cleaned her off, just took the cape off and asked for payment. When I got home I had to help clean her off and trim the areas she missed. My mom has a hard time advocating for herself due to the mouth surgery, but this goes far beyond that. I have never seen someone so absolutely self absorbed in my life to the point of completely ignoring the person in your chair. Julie, if you're reading this please take this criticism for what it is: a call for you to do better. Please go see a therapist (again, not your clients), and recognize where you can do better for the people you service. PS. If you're cold bring a jacket to work, don't expect your coworker and clients to sweat themselves out for you.

I gave this place five stars because they clipped my hair with great accuracy…read more When I was sitting in one of the waiting chairs and heard the hairdresser talking to the customer, I hoped there would be no conversation, but I knew there would be. Crazy thing is somehow poker came up and I got super passionate (as usual) and enjoyed the conversation very much. She was genuinely intrigued by how the poker world worked (travel, buy-ins, money management, etc.) She asked, "Are you a good bluffer?" The answer is yes, but I don't bluff often, which is why I'm a good bluffer. Table image plays a large role. In a tournament, I will act weak for hours at lower blind levels so others will attack later when there are bigger pots. So, I don't really rely on bluffing. It's a different style because I want to be bluffed. See what happened there? I got on the topic of poker. My bad! If we're taking about haircuts, great clips!

Love Love Love This…read moresalon has exceeded my expectations. I had questions before booking my appointment and the staff was super friendly and answered all of my questions. I did a little bit of digging to find out which salon I wanted to go to and was so happy my new go to salon. The salon itself was really a welcoming vibe of love when you walk in. I had Bethany as my stylus and she did an amazing job and super friendly. All the stuff that I interacted with were all very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back.

I debated writing this review for a while, but I think it is worth doing. I have NEVER written a…read morebad review in my life, but this salon has the most confusing, least transparent, and most hypocritical pricing system. Let me start by saying the stylists themselves are lovely. This isn't about them. They were kind, professional, and genuinely talented. My issue is 100% with the management and policies that clearly care more about money and marketing buzzwords than about actual customer experience. I booked my appointment with my mom. She picked a "higher-ranking" stylist, so we expected her haircut to cost a bit more--around $30 extra. That made sense. The salon already lists all prices in ranges, which is fine (it's standard since hair length can vary), but their "starting" prices are already high. Whatever, I'm happy to pay people fairly for their time and skill. Then I get there and find out about their "SalonScale" policy, which means you're charged extra for the hair color product itself, weighed by the gram. My stylist told me it would be about $50 more. Annoying, but I was flying out of the country in a few days, so I just went along with it. By the time I was done, my haircut and color were over $400. For a single appointment. Meanwhile, my mom (whose stylist was higher ranked) wasn't even told about this SalonScale charge, and her total ended up less than mine. Our hair is the same length. So explain to me how that makes sense. If the haircut and color are already that expensive... what the hell am I paying for if not the product? , After getting home, I checked on their website to see their SalonScale policies. This is what pissed me off the most, and where it becomes hypocritical. They actually try to justify this extra charge as being for environmental sustainability. Here's what their website says: "We believe in transparency and efficiency, which is why we use SalonScale for our color services. We weigh out our color by the gram with every client to ensure perfect results every time. By weighing out color, we also eliminate waste, keeping in line with our mission to be more sustainable and leave less of an impact on the environment. With SalonScale, we separate the cost of color from the service price using a parts and labor model. This way, you know exactly what you are paying for." Sorry, but you do not believe in transparency. Nothing about this was transparent. I'm not standing back there watching you weigh color by the gram--you could tell me anything, and I'd have no clue. And "charging more money to save the planet"? Give me a break. You don't need to bill your customers an extra $50+ to be sustainable. Just use what you need and don't waste product. Stop using climate change as a marketing prop to justify upselling people. The haircut itself wasn't even what I asked for, but I take some blame for not speaking up right away. I left my hair curly, so I didn't realize how different it was from what I asked for until later. I came back the next day for a touch-up--they said they had a "no charge" policy for that, which I thought was great considering the expensive nature of my haircut. But after the touch-up, my stylist offered to "style" my hair. She phrased it like a nice gesture, a little favor. Then boom--it showed up on the bill as a $50 charge. That's not a favor. That's shady. You need to be upfront with customers about how much things cost BEFORE doing them. I checked online, asked in person, and asked again when I arrived for my touch-up appointment to clarify that there would be no extra charges. , Oh, and the final insult: they charge tax on the tip, which you have to pay. Normally, I wouldn't care, but by that point, it just felt like one last way to squeeze a few more dollars out of me. The sad part is that this could easily be a great salon. The stylists are good at what they do. But the way this business runs? It's manipulative, confusing, and anything but transparent. If you go, just know you might walk out paying $150+ more than what you planned (and with the feeling you've been taken advantage of under the guise of "sustainability").
