Seating is available inside and on the top deck. A bar is located inside. The captain narrated the wonderful sites along the way-Bannerman's Island, Cold Spring, Storm King Mountain, Breakneck Mountain and West Point. The fall foliage was breathtaking. -Definitely bring binoculars for great viewing. The entire crew was wonderful. A shout out goes to Belinda. Parking is available in front of the dock. Just check-in with the crew to be sure you're in the "right parking". Please take any valuables with you. Pride of the Hudson is a wonderful experience!

Normally there are 75 to 90 people on board, we had a total of 14 and had the boat pretty much to ourselves. The crew on board were fantastic able to mingle with guests providing additional local information along the the way. He told me via email that he had changed his plans and was going out with a private lesson instead of taking us out. His policy says that if there is a cancellation due to weather you can't get refunded, you have to reschedule, so he wouldn't give me a refund. I booked him for a trip with friends who were only in town for a weekend and he couldn't fit us in to reschedule during the weekend. I called and left voicemails all day asking him to please call me and he never picked up the phone. Extremely unprofessional, he abused his weather policy to keep my money and also get a private lesson in when it worked for him with no regard for the client.

As someone who works in customer service management, I found the way this was handled extremely disappointing. I expected much better customer service.

The cruise had numerous beverages, including hot apple cider alone or with bourbon. We had hot apple cider w/o.... It was hot and delicious! One issue we had was hearing the narration. The acoustics appeared to sound fuzzy. Possibly because we were sitting at the stern of the boat. During the cruise, we viewed several sites: Indian Point, Bear Mountain Bridge and trains against the background of the beginning of the fall foliage. FYI- The dock is right before you get to the yacht club. If you reached the yacht club, you've gone too far. Parking is in the area of Riverfront Park. Before the cruise, it's best to use the restroom facilities in the park, instead of the Porta John at the dock. Don't know about the bathroom on the boat. The boat is somewhat small. 3.5 Stars.

I can't believe I've been in NYC for 20+ years and I've never done this sailing before. Although…read moremaybe it's a good thing that I waited this long to do it with Eric who made the experience unbelievable. It was a perfect day for sailing (nice breeze, sunny but not hot, clear skies, and not choppy water). This is definitely an activity that I will come back for. Eric is incredibly knowledgeable about NYC's history and shares it all. His boat is gorgeously kept and is incredibly comfortable and modern with a traditional feel. More importantly you can tell he enjoys what he does, which makes it amazing for those sailing with him. It's also a very relaxing experience. We went out on the 4 hr tour and it went by so incredibly fast! If you have the time I definitely recommend doing the 4 hr as it's the perfect amount of time to enjoy the experience. However, if you don't have the time I very much encourage taking the shorter tour so you can experience a great time. A must-do in NYC!

Lots of great scenery. There are a few cool small roads that intersect it that are really fun. Many hiking options. We did one that was fairly nice, and a little challenging in fact (some minor climbing). I can't remember the name, but the entrance is right by the visitor center. Tip: Storm King Hwy is not far, and is a REALLY fun drive!
