I always love stopping into the cute little shop to check out the newest selection. From beautiful bouquets that seem to really last and house plants that are healthy and thriving, I have acquired quite a few beauties from Hudson Flowers over the years. The florists are always ready to help wrap an already made bouquet, give houseplant advice, whatever. My favorite thing when I want a mini bouquet for myself is to just ask them if they can whip something together for like $25. It's always cute and tiny and perfect for my kitchen. I've done the same for gifts and they always come out so lovely and thoughtfully arranged, but you do have to go like $35+ to get something sizeable. Also gotta shout out that the peonies that I was sent from here were not only were stunners but lasted soooo much longer than ones from other shops. I don't have too many houseplants from this shop, but was gifted a tiny succulent like 2+ years ago from here and it is growing and happy and THRIVING. I ordered flowers from here for the first time for my wife's anniversary. The flowers were very nice, but I specifically asked for them to be arranged in a vase, and they forgot the vase. I also requested no lilies in the bouquet, but there were lilies included. The customer service over the phone was also very poor, so I would recommend going in person to ensure that your order is handled properly. They are quite expensive, so the value really isn't great. I called to have an arrangement delivered to my friend's home so they'd arrive after her stint in the hospital and I gave them my friend's husband's phone number for delivery. Hudson Flowers called an hour ahead of delivery to give him a head's up, and when he told them he wouldn't be home because he was still visiting at the hospital, they asked when he'd be home because they didn't want to leave the flowers outside too long in the cold weather. Store is open but the "boss" who is the only one that can actually make a bouquet is not there, so why bother? Keep you place closed.

Besides being a little bit overpriced, but I totally understand that because of the location, Hoboken, etc. The people there have too much on their plate for them to give you a catered experience to design your own bouquet. I felt way too rushed when spending $150 on a bouquet. I wanted to send them Inspiration pictures ahead of time and they weren't having it lol how would they know what I want?. Their bouquet was VERY average when I picked it up. I didn't say much because I was in a rush. When I got there I waited 10 minutes for them to acknowledge me. Quick. Convenient. Not too pricey. This place is conveniently located at the top of the stairs to the Path station. Whenever needed, I grab one of the well crafted bouquets on my way home. I have walked by this gorgeous storefront several times and always stop to linger a bit longer in front of the windows as the heavenly smell of flowers just wafts through the air. It is also such a delight to look at. I recently finally had a chance to work with the owner and designer Miae, who is quick witted and helpful with a knack for a beautiful arrangement. I was coordinating efforts for a large scale event and she was fair and open about pricing and gave me lots of great ideas! She does a great job whipping up beautiful arrangements for events and for one offs. At the last second, I wanted to bring my boss flowers to work, so I popped in this morning and in under 3 minutes she threw something together that looks like it had taken 30 mins of painstaking work (at least thats what happens when I try to arrange flowers!) to put together a beautiful bouquet. She even offered some inside tips on how to make sure the peonies last longer. She works with a top notch distributor in NYC so she is able to get anything you can hope for at a fair price in this area. The shop also has a wide array of succulents and orchids and you can even get a little lesson on how to care for them so they have a better chance of surviving. Stop in and visit Miae! I stopped in last night around 6:15pm to pick up some flowers for my friend's 30th birthday. The owner and her brother are both very friendly. I asked them to make a bouquet around $20, including one calla lily and a few roses. They did a great job incorporating a hydrangea and a lily (I asked for a color scheme of white and pink). Even the wrapping was beautiful with tissue paper, plastic, and sturdy ribbons. I walked around the shop and they had all kinds of flowers in there, some that I've never seen before! Flowers were really beautiful the first couple times I went. I've now gotten 5 bouquets from there, and have learned they are taking advantage of customers on pricing. I was told the minimum for a bouquet the first time ($30 for reference) and assumed that would not change. For a special occasion I decided to go upwards to $45 and there was no difference in quality at all. When checking out they told me it was because the minimum was $45 (which I know is not true). I was so caught off guard, I probably should have called it out but did not. My finance then had a similar experience where they raised the "minimum price." So inconsistent. We gave them a few tries, but that is poor customer service. read more

Disappointed, I went into the shop on 2/12 looking for some flowers for my girl. Hoping to get a better idea of my options, since I'm usually not the best at picking. I was helped by a elder lady who after asking what I was looking for, suggested mixing red roses with another color roses, I liked the idea and suggested the other color to go along with the red roses. I chose, was a white Rose with Pink/Redish edges, similar to the one attached below. After choosing both (TWO) of the roses, which the elder lady immediately put aside (both red and white pink-bordered roses), I even took a second look at the group she set aside to make sure the flowers looked fresh. I picked a vase, paid in advance (as I was asked by the elderly lady) to pick it up on 2/13, for a total of $164.00. Today as I came to the shop to pick up the flowers I had already paid for, I was given a bouquet of THREE different colors of roses: White and pink (which I never looked at or chose) along with the Red roses. Not only did the arrangement look plain and uncared for, but it was simply not what I had chosen and agreed to pay for. When I notified the staff of the error, I was told the following: "It will take us about an hour to fix this for you and we're really busy right now." It saddens me to write this review as I've purchased some really nice arrangements from this place before, but after the type of service, I was given today I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone I know. Note: Before leaving, I was asked by an elderly Asian lady who appeared to be the owner Hudson Flowers, what flowers I had ordered (perhaps implying a confusion over a phone order), to which I replied that I had been in the store the day before and had seen her (owner) personally set the two types of roses apart, right before I paid. She kept quiet and responded by trying to convince me that the roses they had given me were better than the ones I had chosen originally, which simply unacceptable. read more

This has been my go to flower shop within the area. The shop is owned by a nice Korean family who really knows how to create beautiful assortments. I order flowers from here on a semi weekly basis for the house. My wife loves them! You can go in there, ask for recommendation, and leave satisfied with the picks! Bless this shop -- stumbled upon it on my way to meet my mother Friday evening and was able to get her some Mother's Day flowers. I got a beautiful "tropical flower bouquet" that was displayed out front, with bird of paradise, ginger flower and this unique pinecone shaped one I've never seen before (shampoo ginger flower?). Which is great because most other flowers make my mom sneeze. And it was only $25 (plus tax) -- an amazingly fair price for such an unusual bouquet I think.
