The problem was with my bank. Kareem and Reilly really were great and very patient with my bank that kept denying my card. Truck I got was pretty clean and ran well despite having over 100000 miles. A little squeaky but no big deal. Got a 16ft cube. Had a USB input for my iPhone and a 120v plug in the dash. I guess so I can plug in my blender while driving? Way better than U-Haul! Better prices, better service, and trucks that aren't falling apart.

I left the art of finding a truck rental location to my roommate and he in his usual somewhat last minute search found Rent Fast Inc. "Apparently all other local rentals from river to river where booked". I've used several truck rental locations during multiple moves and by far this is the worse I have ever experienced; yes even worse than U-Haul can sometimes be. 1. The rental technology or rental method is archaic 2. The price is the same as any decent reputable establishment 3. The rental equipment is just downright deprived I could go on and on, however I will refrain. This truck was rickety as rickety can get. The physical appearance was reminiscent of Sanford and Son the only thing good about this 17ft truck was the storage area. The interior was filthy and probably hadn't been cleaned since the vehicle was purchased. The gears stuck when shifting, D - Drive was actually Drive 1.5 and please do not put this truck in reverse. To top it off I had to park on a hill to unload this bad boy and the parking brake didn't work; go figure. If you thought about driving more than 10 miles in one these rentals you are risking it. I would definitely not rent from here again. I love to support local business, but they really need to step up their game pronto.
