I would not recommend this shop. We had an accident while in LA and our insurance company recommended this place. Every time I called for an update, while they had my car there for 6 weeks, I was told I'd get a call back later in the day, but that never once happened. Then, I was finally told that it would be by noon the next day. I took the train up there and when I got there, Angie said they didn't have the replacement tire they needed but she was calling all over the place to get one. I asked why she didn't know that they didn't have the correct tire after having the car there for weeks, she said that they usually get it at the end from their supplier, but he didn't have the necessary tire. She was calling outside of LA because apparently there were no matching tires for my car in all of Los Angeles. In the end, we agreed that they should get two tires instead of one and that we would pay for the second tire. I Ubered over there an hour after she said it would be ready, but it wasn't even back yet from alignment. I took the car home and two weeks later began to notice that the hood was fluttering when I was on the highway. I also noticed a clip showing by one of the front lights and an entire piece missing from near the windshield. In addition, there was a scratch that never got painted and a bit of touch up paint where there shouldn't have been any. Strangely, Danny told me I couldn't wax the car for 3 months and could only hand wash it for a year! I can't even make sense of that and neither could the shop I ended up taking it to in San Diego to have all the repairs made right. He also told me that he never said the car would be ready that day, which is true, but his employee and company representative told me it would be. I hope that American National Insurance will take these guys off their recommended shops. read more

They took care of calling Hertz and having then pick me up and when Hertz tried screwing me over they made sure things got corrected. This place is no good. I went there after i had an accident because the place they towed it to was close to this. I thought any car place was the same, could not have been more wrong. The people here are extra shady. They contacted me all the time when i first got my car there, eager to get the paper work going. Once they got my signatures, all contact stopped. I had to call them every day to ask them how the repairs were going on my car. They gave every excuse why it wasn't going yet, the best one.. "its raining, so we can't look at your car." In the end, they ruled the car a total loss and said that it was unfixable. It was complete bullshit, as the car was not that badly damaged. Save yourself alot of time and money. Avoid this shop at all costs. read more

After having a front tire blowout on the freeway that created extensive damages to my 2008 Ford E-250 van I was referred to Hudson Body by AAA insurance. I was greeted by Kevin, he checked the damages which included replacing of the front fender, inner fender, running board, color matching and painting the door & fender, as well as the running board, also had to apply two new sets of pinstriping(total of 5 stripes). When I picked my van up a couple weeks later I was amazed to see how well it came out. The body lines and gaps all align perfectly, the new running board, paint color, pinstriping match perfectly as well. I would not hesitate referring a friend or family member, although I hope I never have to. read more

Like many others, my insurance company recommended this place after my car was hit. The damage was a large crack on my bumper. It was fixed within a few days and looked great. I have been taking my car to Hudson Paint & Auto Body for years and have never had one bad experience. Just recently I took my car in and they had fixed it before I could blink twice. The service is beyond excellent and the repairs are great. My car looked like nothing ever happened to it. Its a guaranteed great experience. Was recommended here by my insurance company and although skeptical at first I am extremely satisfied with their service. Not only did my car look better than brand new when they were done, but because I had 2 different collision claims totaling $2000 I had to pay they offered to do it all for $1500. They also offered to pay for my rental car. The only negative thing I have to say about them is that it took 2 and a half weeks to complete and I had to keep calling in and checking to get an update on its status. However I would recommend Hudson collision to anyone and everyone. read more

Russian Ripoffs took my 2004 Camry for a rear door repair, the paint cracked & blistered after returning 4 times The owner with the greasy long hair just flat out refused to repair His work stating this car was in other repair shops!, Now why would I go back to have Him reek more damage to my car. I payed Him $2,100. and now I have to pay another $1,400. to fix what the damage He did to my door. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB! and the State of California! After having gone to a body shop my dealership recommended, I decided to get a quote from a place my mechanic referred me to and scope out their operation (Igor). First, when inquiring about what to quote me, they had the audacity to nickle and dime me about dents with the fix. I told them, "Quote me for the dents also", that goes without saying, at least it was for BH BMW. Then, they quoted me more for some minor damage than the dealership did, and the same for a paint job of the entire car. The salesman had the nerve to say his work would be "better" than the place BH BMW recommended when they didn't have a single BMW on the lot except for mine. How do you quote someone for Honda and Toyota work at more than BMW prices? Another thing the gentlemen said was, "there is no such thing as BMW specific paint, its all the same". Yeah, until you realize they put Honda paint on your BMW. The difference, BMW recommendation will not hassle you about what you feel is acceptable work (class), while the other place will try to convince you the work done is great whether you think so or not (trash). I got nothing but attitude from HPAAB and they had no concern to, if not give me lower than BH BMW prices, give me matching prices for Honda and Toyota work. This may be the best place in Gardena to have body work done on your car, but certainly is not the best place for your money in the Los Angeles area. Not only does their attitude suck, they need to stop acting like they are dealing with an insurance adjuster. Its already bad enough the person who quoted me didn't hand me the quote to begin with, but the "closer" wouldn't sympathize with my concerns. Just seems like some sleazy saleman maneuver to double team me. After this kind of experience, I'd rather only deal with the dealership when it comes to my car, even though its guaranteed, better, and cheaper! Any good post about this place after mine, please take into account quality assurance and service. read more

I was recommend this place by my insurance company after I got into a small accident. Had a large dent on the left side of the rear bumper and had it fixed within a few days! What really blew me away was the friendliness of the the staff. I was super busy with work and did not have time to pick up my car soo soon so thet kept my car for a few extra days with no charge! This place is very unprofessional. I should know because I deal with vehicle repairs for a living! Normally I would not complain about a business online I would go directly to the Better Business Bureau and lodge a formal complaint, which I still plan to do. I am a paralegal. I work for a PI attorney. A good client of ours was involved in a serious injury accident. Inorder to get his vehicle damage taken care of quickly he decided to go through his own insurance policy. The vehicle was a near total loss but was still drivable. The insurance company's normal practice is for them to assign a shop from their data base that is close to the clients residence for the car to be inspected at the shop and for the shop to send the repair estimate and photos directly to the insurance adjuster for an evaluation to be made. It generally makes things a lot faster than waiting for an independant appraiser to view the vehicle. Anyway the insurance adjuster assigned Hudson to do the inspection and sent them the assignment. I personally called to be sure that they would accept the assignment and explained that my client would be bringing the vehicle in the next day. The woman assured me that they would they would take care of it. I was very surprised when he called me and told me how rude they were and they told him they don't handle his "type." They further told him that they don't talk to people who have attorneys. Hello, they get business from attorneys. Then they called him the next day and said oh you should go to another shop. When he told them that they were the shop his insurance "Coast National," had sent him to, they tried to tell him to come back. If they are that unprofessional in the beginning of the process how can they be trusted to do a good job. I have already notified the insurance company not to pay them one dime because they did nothing to even try and inspect the vehicle. I am still real mad about this. I would not reccomend anyone do business with this place. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE, they took way too long to fix my car & 2 years later the paint looks HORRIBLE chipped ALL OVER. I went to this place because it was referred by my insurance company & not too far from my house. BIGGEST mistake, first of all they took over a month to finish my car they kept saying a next week & it turned out to be a month of me not having a car then when i finally did get my car they told me to go back in a week because the black rubber things that go over the windows were still not in yet so i finally got my car but had to go back to get the rubber things put on just for them to come right off a week later then they kept putting it off but it gets WORSE, so now 2years later and let me mention the total the insurance paid was around $10thousand for the damage, replace parts and paint. so Two years later the paint on the car starts chipping on the roof and as time goes by it gets worse and worse now 6 months after the chipping began on a little spot on the roof is now chipping and looks like major scratches all over the roof, the hood and the trunk of my car it looks horrible i have a 2004 solora and its looks like an old ugly car due to their horrible paint job. when my husband took the car to show them the horrible job they did they said there was nothing they can do bcz the paint damage is too bad & we waited too long to go back that we should have taken it as soon as we noticed the chipping 6 months ago WTF well first of all when the chipping started i thought someone had just scrated my car bcz it was so small but it had started to spread more and more & this all happening around the time that im planning my wedding & have one car cannot afford to be out of a car for another month & when i called they said the person to look at it is only there monday -friday when i am at work also & it is inconvienant for me to go back after all the crap i had already been through & the fact that i waited a few month to show them the car wells had they done a good job on it in the first place i wouldnt even need to go back at all., it is their bad paint job they were paid for it & the damage is their fault they should fix it . so basically my car looks like crap & they are not doing NOTHING about it.
