We called the shop, and the man I spoke to told me to come to the shop at noon. When I showed up, he was not there. We came back the next day, and he said it was my windshield wipers. My husband changed out the windshield wipers to see if that was the cause. They put the windshield wipers on the wrong side... After changing the windshield wipers, we still have the buzzing sound when going over 55 mph. It is annoying, as most of my driving is on the highway. This was never an issue before getting my windshield fixed Update: They called my husband last week to look at my vehicle. We took it in this morning. The guy there is trying to say that my cowl cover panel is warping from the sun. However, we did not have the buzzing noise before getting my windshield fixed. I believe that whoever had replaced the windshield was careless when taking off the cowl and bent it. They did not want to fix the issue, but instead give us a packet that says it's common. I highly recommend going to a different glass shop. Update: Unexpectedly? You called my husband Friday, March 31st at 9:45 AM to schedule an appointment to look at my vehicle. He immediately called me to see what days worked best for me, since it is my car. He called you back at 9:50 AM on Friday the 31st to schedule the appointment for today. Again, my cowl was not warped from the sun in one day. It was perfectly fine until YOU replaced my windshield. Your solution to fix the cowl was to use double sided tape. Of course my husband refused that solution. Again, your packet you wanted to give to my husband was not a solution to the problem you caused because of careless removal of the cowl. Based on the articles listed above, these are not reliable sources, but rather other people talking about their issue. It was not an issue before we took it into to you.
