I was so happy with the service that I went back in 2015 to buy a 2016 STI from him.

Oh man, what a (figurative and literal) ride... It's been approximately 3 months (and 7,000ish…read moremiles) since my last review. So, in terms of timeliness, there's a lot left to be desired. But as far as Kalidy KIA (KK) honoring what they had agreed to (when I first signed the contract), it has happened. It was like having my teeth pulled without local anesthesia, but credit where credit is due I guess. Hence, the review update. After exhausting every means of communication, I had ultimately given up on getting KK to fix the dents on my vehicle. But before giving up, I made sure to let everyone know that KK had done me wrong. Then at the end of August, I got inundated with phone calls from KK while I was out of town. Finally, I ended up speaking with a dude named Greg who got me the contact information for the dent repair dudes (that were different than the initial dent dudes; not sure what happened there). Mind you, this was several months after I had been ghosted and gaslighted (gaslit?) by KK's General Manager (GM). Later, one of the dent dudes told me that KK's GM was, and I quote, "... a good guy..." And maybe he is. But my experience was one where the GM (and others at KK) treated me as utterly contemptible. In fact, outside of Greg (and the service dude named Will), not a single person from KK treated me with respect or kindness. But this positive review is more for the last few weeks of above average service recovery, as opposed to the several months of atrocious service that came before that. A part of me wonders if the dent repair follow-through only happened because I submitted a complaint to the Oklahoma Attorney General's Consumer Protection Unit, but I'll give KK the benefit of the doubt that they decided to do the right thing, because they're supposedly "good guys." Summary: a [*] beginning + [*][*][*][*][*] ending = a [*][*][*] experience that I hope to never have again. 1. Did the dent repair guys (not you, X-Dent, you still suck) end up doing an amazing job? Yes. 2. Did KK ultimately fulfill what was agreed upon? Also yes. 3. Did KK handle all of this in a way that would make me want to become a repeat customer? Uhh... Probably not as long as anyone named "Richard" works there. Because what are the chances that two of the sketchiest people I've dealt with at KK, somehow both happened to be "D*cks"?

Now, I took it to Post Oak for an oil change and they scratched the door handle and didn't tell me. I noticed it before leaving and let them know and they tried to make it good-they gave me a bottle of touchup paint. On another visit, they rotated my tries and changed the oil at 3,800 miles. They charged to install the oil filter and oil $7.00! Then to top it off, they charged .99 for the multipoint inspection which at one time was complementary. Then .99 to torque the lug nuts on the wheels. then another MAI fee (whatever that is) of .99 on the previously mentioned oil change. I am about through with Post Oak, they must be desperate for money since they bought the dealership from Hudiburg which did provide better service. I can do my own tire rotations, it doesn't take an Einstein to rotate tires and I have my own torque wrench. Why are they nickel and dimming the customers? Answer: Money-they want more. Next time I need tires, I will not buy from Toyota, there are plenty of tire dealers with fantastic deals that offer free tire rotation with purchase of tires-for the life of the tires.

But when they handed me the worksheet, the price magically jumped to $20,487 (an extra $1,800 tacked onto the base price and doc fee). Then, they tried to sneak in a $1,495 "Post Oak Advantage" fee for features the vehicle didn't even have. When confronted, the salesperson literally brushed it off and changed the subject. That is $3,295 in bogus, hidden fees--bringing a used car to a grand total of $21,982! For comparison, I just bought a brand-new 2026 Corolla LE at another dealer for $23,638 out-the-door with a much lower monthly payment. When emailed, management offered empty apologies but refused to fix the numbers. I have officially reported their deceptive pricing and paperwork to the Attorney General and the BBB. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else.

Travis was my service advisor and he took great care of me. He was kind, friendly, and helpful. He treated me like a valued customer even though this was my first visit to this dealership. Ricky Toumbs was my Service Advisor and he was very nice and informative. He contacted me about other repairs and services that were recommended and sent me a form to check off what I wanted done and what I didn't want to do at this time with prices for each item. It's not cheap getting things done at the dealership , but Ricky gave me a Military Discount and good price for the items I had repaired or serviced. I went to a 4 wheel drive service shop in Las Vegas before I left that was highly recommended and had good reviews. Well turns out they broke a bolt from my skid plate and others were missing and didn't tell me and I only had one bolt holding it on for my drive from Vegas to Oklahoma with my SUV loaded and a hitch carrier mounted on my rear bumper with a heavy box on it. If that one bolt would've came off while I was driving 70mph down the highway I most likely would've crashed and been injured or killed ! Unbelievable ! So , those thread holes had to be rethreaded and one broken bolt in frame had to be drilled out and rethreaded. Synthetic Oil Change , PCV Valve replaced , 4 wheel alignment , 4 wheel drive service ( change gear oil for front and rear differential , transaxles , and transfer cases ) , rear brakes and rotors , after Taxes and Discount came out to $1001.00 . I was figuring about $1,400. Yes an expensive trip to the dealer , but I do recommend seeing Ricky at Fowler Toyota. My son had already told me about some bad shops in the area so it's good to know someone who already knows about those places. I'll be back in the Spring for a Tuneup.

I want to say up front that we didn't *need* a car, we wanted a car, and I think that really can change the sales dynamic when you can just say, "we're going to go look at other dealerships and vehicles." Which we did after our initial test drive. The pros: -Shawn Ponds was our salesman and was excellent. He knew a lot about the car's features and, unlike other dealerships, took the time to demonstrate what they were, how to use them, and why they were good. He was also honest about which things were Subaru exclusive versus things you'd see on other cars. We had a model in mind that was in transit, and rather than push another car he let us test drive the closest model on the lot and let us know when the other car would be arriving. -After returning to the dealership, mostly because of Shawn, we were allowed to put down a $1000 refundable deposit on the car in transit to hold it. That allowed us to see it in person, test drive it, and decide if we really wanted it without too much obligation. I know not everyone can set aside $1000 to do this, but it was nice to have a way out if we didn't like the vehicle. -The young lady working the front desk was also very kind and was helpful getting us connected to the right people when we called and visited. -On the day we went to pick up the car, I got held over at work and had to move our appointment last minute. They were very accommodating. -Jamal, the finance manager, let us have his office for ten minutes while my spouse and I discussed things to just wrap our head around some of the more confusing aspects of the purchase. Very polite of him and we really appreciated having the time to think. He also helped us get a cashier's check after our bank had closed for the day because there was an issue with a wire transfer. -The products are great. Subarus are just good cars. We were also able to get the low APR financing through Subaru's partnership with Chase which was 4% lower than our credit union could do. That's any Subaru dealership, but worth mentioning. The cons: -At the end of our first visit when we were trying to leave, one of the managers spoke with us and was a much more aggressive sales attitude. He asked specifically what other models we were looking for and asked if we had explored their used options to see if they had those vehicles. It was off putting and we almost didn't come back because of it. -There was confusion with one of the other staff members texting with us about when the car would arrive. Shawn said around April 7th. The other person said it would be closer to the 18th and was adamant about it when questioned. When the car arrived on the 7th like Shawn said, we had to move a lot of things around to make our appointment work that week. -The warranty process was overwhelming and felt rushed. This is not the fault of the finance manager. He did a great job explaining the different options, what the total cost of each was, how much it would add to each payment if we financed, and how our payments would look with interest over different terms. But Subaru giving literature that has hundreds of line items printed small, each with different prices, thrust upon you right before purchase sucks. Additionally, the coverage if you don't buy a warranty only being 1-year is pretty crummy and I hope they fix that in the future. -They offered a really low trade-in value on our old car. When we mentioned we had a higher quote from Carmax they said they couldn't match it. Carmax gave us $2300 more than Cavender offered. I've never had a great experience at a car dealership. It is always stressful and tiring. But of the multiple cars I've purchased in my lifetime, this transaction was the easiest. I really hope the rest of the team understands that our salesman and his demeanor was the reason for us returning though and drop some of the more aggressive sales tactics.

I bought my Subaru in Louisiana where I live. I was up in Norman and noticed that one tire kept losing air (very slow leak). Hmmm, probably a nail in the tire. I don't know any of the tire places around Norman and I saw Cavender and thought "why not?". My home Subaru dealer does tires so they should be able to as well. Caveat with Subarus - they are All Wheel Drive (which is a good thing) but it means that all the tires need to be about the same circumference or it causes premature wear on the differentials and transmission. You can't buy just one new tire or two and put them on with other tires that are worn. If/when you lose one tire you have to replace all four. So, Cavender could easily have pushed me into buying four tires and they didn't. They found a small nail (as expected) and were able to plug the hole rather than replace the tire (and its three brothers). Even better, they wrote it off as a Courtesy and didn't charge me a penny. I was shocked. The staff were friendly and were sympathetic to my plight, being on the road traveling. I may never go back that way again, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back to these guys if I ever need to. Big thanks from a stranded traveler!
