Stopped here on the way to savannah a few months ago. It should be called HUDDLE HOUSE PLUS MORE. The staff is very friendly and attentive. And the food is way above average. I ordered a turkey club samdwhich. It wasn't your average roadside diner sandwich. It was equivalent to a gormet sandwich shop. Very clean dining area. Restrooms fresh and well stocked. This will be a regular stop for me when passing through. read more

Where do I even begin? I walked into the restaurant at 10pm (after a football game) on a Friday night with 3 very hungry teenagers. The restaurant was completely empty of customers. We sat down and after a few minutes a waitress (I didn't get her name) came to take our drink order. About this time a flood of people came in (post ballgame) and the tables quickly filled. After the waitress brought our drinks she took our food order. Then, we waited. And waited. And waited. Our drinks were never refilled. The waitress wouldn't even make eye contact with me when I would try to get her attention. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt - it had gotten very busy and there only seemed to be 2 waitresses working which, seems ridiculous considering this is only 1 of 2 places to eat in town after a certain time on Friday night - but that's a complaint for another time. An hour passed. No food. No check in from the waitress. Nothing! I watched the large group that came in after us get there food, eat, and leave. By this point the boys are tired and hungry. I decided to give them until exactly and hour and a half before I "made my scene". I walked up to the counter and said to our waitress, "can I just pay for our drinks so we can leave?" Her reply was "you have a good night". I said "we've been here for an hour and a half and haven't even seen our food" (BECAUSE THEY NEVER EVEN STARTED IT!!!!!!) Did we get an apology? Nope. Just the same "you have a good night" line. I swear y'all, it was all I could do not to show out! Needless to say, we will not be returning. I've lived here for 18 years. My son practically grew up eating at the huddle house, but we're done. I've never experienced such blatant disrespect and disregard. I will gladly patronize any other establishment in town, but I will not spend another dime or moment of my time there. read more

My lady and I come through Millen regularly, on our ways between Georgia and South Carolina. It always seems were getting hungry by the time we reach here, and this store has always met our needs with friendly and efficient service. The Huddle Houses have new menus that place them far above their main competitors AND the numerous fast food choices that usually surround them. Stopped here on the way back to Augusta. Ordered their pulled pork sandwich w/bacon and sweet potato fries, hubby ordered the chicken fried steak with eggs and grits and my sister in law had the crispy chicken salad. Pulled pork was okay however they forgot to put the bacon in the sandwich. Service was friendly and everyone in our party seemed like they enjoyed their lunch. read more

Not the best food. The middle vegetables where really oily and greasy. Mac and cheese was not good either.

On June 6,2021 around 10:00 a.m. I called in a to go order to the huddle house in Millen,Ga upon my arrival, I was greeted by a server who assisted me with the pickup order. the serve sneezed in her shirt and continued to bag my food. first,she didn't have on gloves,no mask, and she didn't wash or sanitize her hands. Due to covid 19. I was shocked at this transgregation. I definitely couldn't eat this food. I requested to speak with the manager.when the manager on duty approached me. I informed her of the issue that transpired. The manager didn't apologize for the incident didn't offer any solution. she refused to allow my other party to receive his order. My wife and I stopped here on our way to Asheville North Carolina from Saint Augustine Florida. Our reception was amazing. Friendly, helpful, fun, and professional. We had a great breakfast. As we drove away I said "we will stop here again." One week later on our way home, we made a point to stop back at this Huddle House in particular. When we arrived the place was empty. We were greeted by Jackie with a great big smile and a great big hello. We had a great time and a great meal. You should make it a point to make this a regular stop. read more

I don't know who owns this place, but just because they have a new menu doesn't mean the business is being run right...Went in...they weren't very busy...empty tables everywhere...DIRTY empty tables...the only reason I was here was I was meeting my parents after a funeral and they like to eat here...The waitress was nice enough, but the way she was dressed, she looked like she hadn't had a bath or changed clothes in a few days...asked for a cloth to wipe the table down she went and found about one of the dirtiest towels I've ever seen to do the job...I know that HH is not a high end establishment...but just keep the place clean! A few more folks came in but they were not super busy...took us nearly 40 minutes to get two BLT's and a pattie melt...Then when she brought it to the table she was on her cell phone...talking away...just dropped off the food and waIked off...I don't go to Millen very often...and I sure won't make a special trip for this mess... read more
