Amazing breakfast! I work 7/12s and the days I don't work it's the spot to go to. Only thing that sucks is that it's closed on Saturdays

So it was my Friday out at work and I always treat myself on such day and it had been years since I last frequented this place. I downloaded the app and right away received a free reward so I opted for the free appetizer-sampler and I ordered the Mega Bacon Cheese HuddleBurger with sweet potatoe fries. The cool thing is you can customize your burger so i ordered it on Brioche. So I arrive, don my face mask and go inside thinking I'd have to wait but no, my order was waiting on me. The appetizer sampler was good and the fried pickles were my favorite. Then on to my dinner, the fried were Delicious and I wanted more and the burger was oh so good..i will definitely be hitting this joint up again.. overall very satisfying read more

This place is the worst. The first time I came here 2 days ago my waitress was so high on meth she couldn't remember I placed an order 3 minutes earlier. 30 minutes later no food. She didn't put in the order. I am sitting here now waiting for coffee I ordered 15 minutes ago, waitress (different one today) is so stoned, inattentive or stupid she didn't ask for my order. I had to yell at her to get her attention so she would take an order. The point is, avoid this place at all costs. This is my second go round, I'm thoroughly, notoriously, not picky. Went to this place for breakfast,,,DISGUSTING!!! Words will not be able to explain the experience that we've had as visitors and investors in such a prosperous city but unfortunately I had to meet the staff of the huddle House located right across from Texaco gas station in Kermit Texas in particular the server who was on the front door and she immediately recognized that we were dressed coming after a meeting with five different companies and we were stopping by to see The hospitality that we've always heard about in Texas and to taste the good food of Texas but I will not generalize the the most amazing people that we've got to meet in this journey and I will only specify the crew of the huddle house located in Kermit Texas have been the nastiest experience with the nastiest attitude with nothing but discrimination to our color and skin regardless of the fact that we are investors that are helping the economy of this city at a bad time when everyone is struggling but if the huddle house continues to hire a staff such as the stuff that we've seen on March 9, 2020 11:48 PM they will visit Texas again but I encourage everyone to visit all the other restaurants around because everyone was more than amazing and pleasant to deal with there is no doubt in my heart that methamphetamine and drugs were involved during the operation because everyone on that stuff was sweating and speaking almost a different language that only indicated methamphetamine addict behaviors. My family had an emergency in west Texas, so there I go. I had breakfast here, twice. The service was friendly and the french toast was yummy. I also had the waffle, bacon, and eggs. I sampled the smothered biscuit griddle or whatever you call it. YUMMY. The eggs needed a bit of salt, but that wasn't too bad. I didn't care for the grits, but they weren't horrible. If ever in the area, I'd go back. They were very friendly and the prices were very moderate. read more

Been in Kermit going on 3 weeks now and every place I've been to has let me down. Trying a new place was a better idea than what I expected. Right when I walked in I felt like I was back at home in Houston a place called Dots. Huddle House brought me home with their great service and food. Everything was made just the way I liked it. Horrible customer service and I saw the very overweight cook sneeze as she was at the grill. Told the tatooed girl at the counter I was in a hurry and she kept the to go boxes behind the counter for 10 minutes before get gave it to me! The omlette was cold and the waffle was cold and rubbery, i didnt complain for fear of them sneezing or even spitting in my food out of retaliation. Actually never had any negative opinion of this place until my last time there. Food was always good but most of the employees were not very good food service "hygienic"?. Some had grimy looking T-shirts.. think that was the manager. Cooks handling various food with no gloves.. no hairnet..kitchen was a bit disorganized & messy.. different employees out back by dumpsters smoking. it's basically your typical truck stop diner. Call an order in for a burger deal that cost 5.40 and paid with my credit card but when I check my bank statement it was charged 15.40. When I went back to the store they acted like it was a normal occurrence no big deal I felt so violated. Well in my travels coming back from New Mexico I found what looked like the only place opened in this drive thru town. Upon arrival they had multiple tables empty however almost ever single one was filthy and unoccupied. We could hear the waitstaff stating they where not going to clean it as we sat waiting to order. We where one of 6 individuals in the restaurant and the couple next to us had food come out three different times due to the waitstaff not listening and the customer becoming frustrated. Once we place our order that came out wrong and it took 35 minutes just for a grilled chicken sandwich that was supposed to have sweet potato fries and I say this because there where only 7 on my plate. Any other time I would leave an establishment however being two hours out from my destination I didn't want gas station food but next time that will be the option if I ever have to go back through Kermit. read more
