Open kitchen. Wish you could smell how yummy it is in here.

I don't know why people are giving this poor ratings. The place is clean. Staff is wonderful. Coffee mug was filled before it was empty over and over. The western omelet was delicious. The ham was smoky and the eggs were fluffy and fresh. I didn't get a picture of the smokehouse platter but it was also very good. This is a chain but they act and cook like a small town restaurant/diner. For the price they can't be beat. If they had French toast we would never go to ihop.

Honestly a 3.5 Star if allowed, but I see this place as more GOOD than OK so I gave it 4. I saw very mixed reviews on this location, but let's take into consideration that no matter how you look at it , this is Fast Food. I saw one reviewer said they waited a long time to get seated ( Earth calling reviewer, " Do you wait for a Maitre D at Burger King too? ' smh) ( huge parking lot as it is in a strip mall) The staff, the cooks, the customers MIGHT not be as experienced as what you expect from many other types of restaurants that are more "upscale' Maybe I was lucky that when I went there at 9am on a Saturday as I was the only one there. Service was very good. The food was hot & perfect. The Huddle House brand of coffee was very good. I had a delish fluffy western omelette that was filled with chunks of ham, tomatoes, peppers, onions & cheese. It came with shreaded potatoes that were not greasy at all. I also had the bisquit with sausage gravy which was very good too. I'm picky with biscuits. After eating them all over the South and at many other places up here, I find many of then dry and fall apart easily. These were perfectly moist and held up to the gravy. The gravy was not too salty either as some can be. I think the food at Huddle is better than IHOP, however I really need to go back again, which I plan too.

My group had a solid consensus that this was a 3-star place. The main word I would use for this place is "average". It's just not a place I would think to come back to, honestly: 1. Food was inconsistent. My garden omelette vs. my sister's garden omelette had wildly different ratios of vegetables (mine probably has 3x as many mushrooms, and no tomatoes while hers was essentially all tomatoes) 2. Our waiter was okay. Not bad, but not friendly. He did check in quite a few times which was appreciated. 3. The pancakes are large, and the syrup is good. But they're really dry while also tasting uncooked. It's weird. The top is crispy and the inside was wet. 4. The portions are large, but the food did not taste seasoned. I don't think they even put salt in my omelette. Overall, it's not bad and there were no horrible, glaring problems. It just didn't really compare to other diners in the area in terms of taste and preparation.

Food is ok here and service can be slow! They have mostly breakfast options. Portions are fairly large for a reasonable price. Place is close to me so it just sometimes is easy to stop in.

The food was so hot that it melted through the container.

Are you trying to kill off your customers? Your food is SO HOT and melts through the styrofoam containers! There should AT LEAST be an aluminum foil separating the hot food and the styrofoam. We can't possibly eat this! I have no words. Fix this issue for all of your customers. Put aluminum foil in the container before putting your hot food in!

My wife and I stopped by to pick up equipment at the Verizon store, while turning the corner we noticed this eatery Huddle House. We stopped by and we were greeted by Jayleen, a nice, friendly young lady with great customer service. We sat in a booth and Jayleen took our order. My wife and I decide on the loaded Chili for starters, for entree she opted for Chicken Fried Steak with Grits, eggs, toast & blueberry pancakes. I asked for the Huddle Special, which is: 2 eggs, hash brown over a sausage patty & bacon with gravy and biscuit. The meal was so scrumptious that my wife and I agreed that the pancakes are way better than IHOP's. Kudos to Hector the cook for creating such delicious masterpieces! **EDIT 11-30-21** We ate here yesterday morning and this morning and we were greeted by two friendly and personable ladies: Liz & Ms. Dee, always with warm greetings. We so met Jaime, another cook with exemplary skills.. This place has it all: savory meals, friendly service and fantastic cooks!

With over 180 wing flavors to choose from, the only problem you will have is deciding because you will want to explore this seemingly never ending list. These are a couple of the wings I explored: Peanut Butter & Jelly Wings: These wings were smothered in creamy peanut butter with a heaping mound of jelly. At first I was reluctant to explore this unusual combination, but as soon as I gave it a try, it was love at first bite. Feel free to smear or dip; the choice is yours. S'mores Wings: This is another unique, but unbelievably savory combination. These dessert style wings were smothered in marshmallow cream, drizzled with chocolate syrup, and sprinkled with crushed pieces of graham crackers. It was a sight for sore eyes. If you need additional chocolate sauce don't be afraid to ask for "s'more." And make sure you request "s'more" napkins because you will certainly need them! In addition to the wings, I also explored one of the main courses. Blue 42 Burger: Named after the restaurant, this burger is topped with mozzarella sticks, blue cheese crumble and bacon. The Blue 42 char on top of the bun has a nice decorative touch. If you are a fan of the Green Bay Packers, you have come to the right spot. The interior is decorated with Packers memorabilia, which even includes wall art on the ceiling. All fans are still welcome even if you aren't an aficionado of the Packers. The restaurant staff also supports New Jersey's finest, New Jersey's bravest, the ambulance corp, and the armed forces. I truly enjoyed dining at this local bar and I see why their wings are high profile. #blue42 #wingman #wingmanblue42 #blue42elmwoodpark #blue42burger #smoreswings #smores #peanutbutterandjelly #peanutbutterandjellywings #pbj #pbjwings #elmwoodparknj #GreenBayPackersFans #njfinest #njbravest #AmbulanceCorp #armedforces

Do all possible combinations truly have value? At what point does variety become a little ridiculous? That said, the bones -- so to speak -- are very good. Came here on a Friday night, walked inside the bar not knowing the restaurant entrance is on the parking lot, people were nice to point us through the kitchen to the restaurant. The place is very interesting, a lot of different artwork and decor. They serve complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. Started off with the Cowboy Calamari ($19.95) and it was delicious. The calamari was nice and crispy, it was drizzled with some sort of sweet sauce. This was actually the highlight of the night, I highly recommend getting this. For my main, I ordered the 12 oz ribeye ($24.95) with onion rings ($4). The ribeye was bigger than 12 oz, it was huge. I got it medium but it came out medium rare, which if fine with me. The ribeye was good and very filling, just know you get what you pay for. My husband got the MBH filet mignon steak sandwich (w/o mushrooms) on focaccia bread... I did take a picture but it didn't save in my phone. He loved it. He's the type to eat everything on his plate and he could only finish half because it was such a nice size portion. Our server Ariel (I hope that is his name - I'm looking on my receipt and that's what it says) was so nice and attentive. He told us about the different theme nights they have, how packed they get etc. An A+ server. Realizing how close this was to our house we are pretty excited to put it into our rotation and try more items on the menu and hopefully go on theme nights. Overall great fun place to bring family, hang out, watch sports, or sit at the bar & just chat.

She was very attentive and made our meal pleasant and comfortable. I started with a Blood Orange Margarita (Calirosa 'Rosa Blanca' Tequila, orange liqueur, fresh sour, blood orange). This drink was VERY GOOD. The hint of blood orange was the perfect amount of sweetness and I was content with my selection. The appetizer was the Slow-Roasted Meatballs (porcini-dusted veal, pork, grass-fed beef, tomato-basil sauce, brick-oven bread). Each meatball was tender, flavorful, well seasoned, and the sauce was sufficient to accompany every forkful of the delicious starter. The entrees were: Caramelized Sea Scallops (broccolini, mascarpone risotto). Next was the Seasonal Brick-Oven Gnocchi (roasted mushrooms, truffle oil, roasted tomatoes, Marsala and provolone sauce, green onions). The final entree was the Mediterranean Wood-Grilled Chicken Salad (arugula, toybox tomatoes, kalamata olives, red onions, chickpeas, quinoa, feta, lemon dijon vinaigrette). For dessert, Seasons 52 graciously offered a free dessert for my birthday. Another nice touch that places Seasons 52 on a pedestal.
