I have been using online online shopping with pickup because the amounts I buy have increased as we try to support the food bank. I appreciate their working with head starts food pantry. But their system to notify them you have arrived is terrible. I have never gotten the thing I need to scan to tell them I am there and which spot has NEVER Worked for me. I have to call Customer service to transfer to list service. Today it took FIVE minutes for the phone transfer to take place. Provide an option on your phone answering system for Pickups or something that doesn't leave my frozen goods thawing because I can't get requests to get my groceries answered. Great store but pickup system is not. I choose to have my latest order delivered because I have had it with not being able to notify Kroger when I am outside waiting for my pickup.

They seem to generally have plenty of cashiers available and a fresh inviting produce section. There is a Starbucks right inside the store entrance. No deals there just the convenience of one stop shopping. A few observations: -They have a loyalty program where you register and trade your buying history for fuel points (rewards) toward the purchase of gas at the Kroger fuel station. In order to get the lowest advertised store price on Kroger merchandise you have to scan your card or provide your phone number. A strategy might be to use a common family phone number to more quickly build rewards. -Rather than BOGO their deal is Buy 5 Save 5. So on a frozen vegetable instead of paying the Kroger loyalty price of 2.29 you pay 1.29 each if you buy 5 in the same brand and category. Seems like a deal if they have sufficient stock when you are shopping. Wednesday is when the weekly store ad/specials drop so probably the best day to shop. -They have a 'Last Chance' section where they offer clearance prices on stickered merchandise. Aisle 8 when I was there. A quick scan and a check of expiration dates can net a bargain. -Kroger offers online digital coupons that you can clip after you download and register through their app. Check the app privacy details for the many ways Kroger can gather and sell your personal information including to third party advertisers.

I found her waiting in the cooler in the floral department. I was searching for an arrangement to drop off at my friend's office to brighten her day. This was a lot of flower power for $50 - fragrant stems, heavy pitcher for a vase and generous bouquet. My friend immediately commented on how wonderful the roses smelled! It totally made her day! There were a number of to-go arrangements in beautiful colors in all shapes and sizes. The man in front of me at checkout was picking up four dozen roses for his wedding anniversary - all beautiful! Friendly cashier helped me with checkout and removing the price tag. If you don't need delivery, I'd stop by here for your next arrangement - I think items a better bang for your hard-earned bucks!

I finished and pulled up to wait for my nephew to come out of the store. As I was leaving I noticed the other pumps had 3.55 per gal. I went in and asked the kid behind the counter why my pump was different, he told me that it was a full service pump. I told him there was no sign saying that and he right away said he was helping another customer, my nephew I suppose. I asked him how do I get my money back and all I got was a red face and no answer to my question. Nice scam to run on unsuspecting customers.

This Road Ranger had a Subway as well as a Dixie Family Restaurant. Open 24 hrs, 7 days a week, it was a convenient way to fill up on gas, with easy on/off from I-55 (though there was heavy construction from the entrance, backing up traffic from both sides).
