We had an amazing time at the "Hub." We enjoyed mountain biking and hanging out in the lodge. Jason and Kara are awesome hosts.

Skiing at Jay's was an experience. The groomers were all…read morepretty rough, with barely any parts actually groomed. Did not enjoy any of them at all. The top half of the mountain was all just a tiny powder on top of ice . The ice gets shaved throughout the day to build up the powder that then gets slapped into something akin to moguls throughout the slopes. Talking to people on the lifts made it very clear that the focus of skiing here is on the glades and not the groomers. Unfortunately my lack of experience made it rather tough to enjoy that. It also wasn't until midday on our second day that we finally discovered some more beginner friendly glades. We ended up being able to enjoy the moons and the bushwacker path. The layout of the lodge is also strange. It feels cramped and crowded even though there werent too many people there. All the lifts feel far too slow as well. A wind cover at the least would be highly appreciated considering how long the ride up is. The misc Ramen truck is a highlight. Delicious lunch option. Truely a gift. Would recommend.

Overall, the terrain was a little more advanced but had a few short trails for beginners. Several long blue runs and a few groomed black runs in addition to many more difficult mogul black runs. Lots of glades areas if that is your cup of tea. The resort was big enough that you had plenty to explore for a few days and also if you went with a group it wasn't so huge that it was impossible to meet up or find friends if you took an accidental detour. We opted for a package and it was reasonable. We chose to stay at the golf cottages which were perfect for our group, and could get around the resort with their shuttle system. There was a movie theater, bowling alley, climbing wall, mini golf as well as general store, bars and restaurants on site. If you buy a package some of the activities might be included in your price. If you want to eat off site there are a few restaurants about 15 minutes away. It was nice that they had so many things to do because this resort is in a pretty remote area and there isn't a ton around in the near vicinity.

I recently had the pleasure of working with New England Landmark Realty, specifically Cindy Lyons,…read morefor a second time in the last 7 or 8 years. The first time I worked with her, it was as the seller of a rather straight-forward home sale; everything went off without a hitch, as I would hope and expect. The normal pieces of pretty much everything being taken care of for me were certainly present; with all of it being cleanly, smoothly and professionally managed across the board, but the idea that my realtor was so much more than that, more like a close friend stuck with me over the years. Fast-forward those 7 or 8 years to my current interaction with Cindy (which turned into calls & emails with Tony Walton as well) and the purchase of a partially improved piece of land and construction loan. New England Landmark was not the listing agent, but I called Cindy just to see if it were something she might be able to help us with (mind you, this was after 5 or 6 'unofficial' calls to Cindy that she provided me a bucket-full of useful information, recommendations and assistance - I thought I should really formalize the whole arrangement!). At the time I placed my call to Cindy, I was literally pulling my hair out, frustrated with the entire process, stressed beyond anything I had experienced and ready to figuratively throw in the towel, (more literally I would have likely thrown that towel, or a big rock, at someone). When I hung up, I exhaled for the first time in weeks, called my wife and said: "We're all set, Cindy is going to take care of us" I had no idea how true that statement could have possibly been; the navigation of a process that included 3 postponed closings, several interactions with the selling agent, circulation of what seemed to be an endless stream of documents (often the same one 2, 3 or more times), coordination of multiple disparate parties (our purchase had more than the "traditional two parties", including one out-of-state), a contested appraisal - pretty much everything I could have thought could possibly "go wrong" (and any number that I couldn't have thought of) and there was Cindy leading the way through the fog (or blackest night as I was beginning to feel). I should also make the important note that not a single one of these difficulties was created by, or the fault of, NELandmark Realty; 100% of the issues were external to them - Cindy just managed them for us. Then on closing day, at something that she didn't really even have to attend (as far as I know) as she wasn't the listing agent and wasn't signing anything, there was Cindy already at the bank waiting for us to show up. Of course closing didn't go smoothly either, but Cindy sat right next to us and weathered that next storm with as much grace and aplomb as she had shown over the previous 4 months. So now, 4 months after that phone call, we are finally ready to start building our home; and it is with absolutely zero creative license or hyperbole that I say, literally, we would not be getting ready to start construction if it were not for Cindy Lyons, Tony Walton and the New England Landmark Realty crew. I wholeheartedly recommend and encourage you, your family and friends give them a call and experience how real estate can and should be done - my guess is that not only will you be pleasantly surprised, you might also come away finding folks you end up calling friends..... With complete sincerity, Don, Stephanie & Tristan Haddox

I called Cody and he did not answer then I called the dispatch and they said they would have him call me back. When the call came about 10 minutes later, he told me since he thought I was arriving from an international flight he would factor in an extra hour to my scheduled pick-up! First of all the reservation clearly showed a domestic flight arrival and second it is pretty egregious to arbitrarily add an hour to the reservation pick-up time. I was livid that he was home in New Hampshire while I was waiting at the airport. Of the 3 times I used this company they were late twice, the most recent was outrageous. I am sad to say I will not use them again. After 10 months I just received an email from google with this: Response from the owner 3 hours ago Dear Elaine, Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we apologize for the experience you had. It seems there was a misunderstanding regarding your flight, and we'd like to clarify what happened. When we initially processed your booking, there was confusion around your flight status, as the system indicated it might be an international arrival. Typically, with international flights, passengers need extra time to clear customs, which often leads to longer waits, so we factored in an additional hour to account for this. However, we now understand that your flight was indeed a domestic one, and we deeply regret the inconvenience this caused you. To remedy the situation as quickly as possible, we immediately explored multiple options to get you home sooner. This included personally looking for alternate modes of transportation out of pocket. Though you refused them all. Insisting on waiting for us. Despite the mix-up, we did not charge as a gesture of goodwill and to compensate for the wait. While we know this doesn't change your experience, we wanted to assure you that we take situations like this very seriously, and appreciate your feedback, which helps us improve. We are truly sorry for the frustration and the impact it had on your travels. Sincerely, Sky Coach & Limousine Well Cody let me say this about that. Regardless of you alleged mishap with your booking tool, I hired a Limousine Service not a travel planner. Regardless of the fight path you should have arrived on time. Your exploring of other options was to tell me to take an Uber from the airport to New Hampshire! Need I tell you what you should take.
