If I could give 0 stars, I would. This insurance company is the biggest scam! They sent me a bill for a missed payment of $94 back in 2022... 3 years later? I also realized I didn't need the extra insurance and canceled it over a year ago. Why are you just contacting me now, and why was nothing said about a 'missed payment' at the time of cancellation... because there never was a missed payment, maybe? I'm very good with my bills and always, always, ALWAYS on time with them. I haven't had an NSF fee in years because I budget and save accordingly. They literally pulled this out of thin air. Guess I learned my lesson in not trusting what insurance salesmen say because they lie to get the sale. Bought a new vehicle from Chrysler Langley and this company had their employee there to transfer over the insurance. well I took his word for it that what I was purchasing was a proper replacement policy for new parts and to cover the deductible and well now that I have had a small collision it doesn't cover what he stated! Lesson learned to always follow up before you sign. And don't trust what this Hub company is selling because they lie. I followed up today to find out what could be done and they were not interested in helping one bit. Stating they cant know what was said by this employee because they no longer work with the company. I arrived at the Mcphillips location in Winnipeg,MB prior to 6pm this evening. The woman working closed the door. I said my son just purchased his first vehicle and would really like to insure it tonight. She said no I have 5 people here. The woman sitting there with 3 other women said we are not waiting we are with her (the woman being served). I said can we come in. She refused. I am very upset with the lack of customer service, and it was 10 min before closing time. There are many insurance company's to choose from. We usually use the superstore location because of convenience but will go out of our way for better service as clearly this is was not important to this company nor its employee this evening. read more

Excellent service from the Fort Langley branch. I went in feeling very unhappy with the private insurance company that I was currently with and Chandra went above and beyond getting me set up with HUB. She was very informative and thorough and I left feeling like a huge weight was lifted. HUB actually saved me more $$ then the company I was with too which was great. Went here to get optional coverage to accompany my basic ICBC car insurance. I was being helped by someone who was fairly new, she was having a little trouble but I found her friendly and had no problem with her taking a bit of extra time. It was Leah, her supervisor/trainer who I found very rude and condescending! In order to be covered by a private company they require you to have your 10 years safe driving, I reached that last year (as it shows on my previous insurance papers) but Leah did not believe that I could have been driving for 10 years. I am a young looking 27 and don't mind being questioned about my age at the liquor store but I don't feel I should have to insist I'm not lying about age to obtain car insurance! It's pretty clear when both my license and insurance papers state my age and years driving experience. After the age question was finally resolved Leah then moved onto my driving history, asking if I had been involved in any accidents. I answered truthfully saying I was involved in a minor fender bender about 5 years ago but it did not result in me going through ICBC and making a claim. She then told me I was ineligible because any accident results in a loss of ICBC discount and safe drivers rating. I said this could not be true because I reached maximum discount level last year and have never had an increase (other than standard rate increases across the board) because of a claim. At this point Leah walked away and I was left with the girl who was working with me in the first place. She told me not to worry and that she could see I qualified just by last years papers. Leah came back a few moments later with more ammunition I didn't qualify because I had a driver with less than 10 years in my household (not a problem last year because he does not drive my vehicle ever!) me having to explain again... then she asked what I did for work, this resulted in her insisting I used my car for business and would have to insure for business use not just travel to and from. Again I had to explain myself. I do not get paid for travel time my shift starts when I arrive at a location and ends when I leave. Just like any other traditional job, I am not on the clock when using my car. In the end the system was down and they were unable to provide insurance due to technical problems. I was happy to take my business elsewhere. I went to Johnson Meir autoplan the next day where they asked me the basic questions and treated me respectfully. The frustration and rudeness I dealt with from Leah at hub international was not worth the $80 or so I would have saved on optional coverage for the year. Again I want to stress my issue here was with Leah not the new employee in fact Leah could have learned something about customer service from the woman she was supposed to be helping. read more

Terrible service from the downtown Langley branch. My personal info for my insurance after 1 month still hasn't been entered in the system. A claim that I made was not done properly and over a month has gone by without following up with the claim. In other words, can't get my property fixed. Brutal customer service from this company.
