They aren't BBB accredited, for obvious reasons, and they hire companies that aren't accredited. Even though they aren't Better Business Bureau accredited the BBB still gives a score and it a sad C-. Avoid this company if you can.

They proceeded to call us every 3 months for 2 years asking if they could quote for a $2 million home. At the time I didn't want to change company's. Then 6-weeks ago I decided to give them a shot. I had 2 separate meetings with Westland staff and supplied them with the detailed documentation they wanted with a date I'd need the quite by; a month away. As the date drew closer I had to call them 4 times over 3-weeks asking when the quote would be ready; 3 times leaving my number with a staff requesting a call back form the fellow I was working with. I received no call back from them after the first 3 to speak with the fellow who had my file. As the final date neared I called a 4th time and got through to my guy. He said he was still working on it and was aware of my dates, as we'd discussed. In the end the date passed without the promised quote or even a call from Westland - we've never had an insurance claim BTW - and we stayed with our original insurer who were very diligent. I might have expected a call or explanation why Westland were too busy to do a quote; especially given I'd insured all our vehicles there for 15 years. Nice enough people, but very unprofessional on this occasion and kind of a waste of time gathering everything they'd asked for.
