46/100 I got into a car accident a couple months ago, but…read morefinally got around to picking up the plates yesterday. I went to see an Autoplan broker to return the plates and this was the first one I saw. I walked in and as usual there was about 4 desks and a few people sitting around working but Farshad got up and came over to assist me. I explained the situation, gave him the plates and the salvage document. The issue I needed his help for? Getting back the one month I lost in insurance after the accident. Immediately Farshad stated that it would not be possible to do it electronically since it was past the 45 day refund period. He said he would have to call ICBC and process it manually. Farshad pulled up his sleeves, got on the phone and took care of business. He does not know how deeply thankful I am, since the accident was very traumatic for me and I did not need any more ICBC hassle. As a matter of fact I am so happy to given up my car and finally break up with ICBC. But back to Farshad. He was a real gentleman and certainly somebody I would count on to answer any questions about your Autoplan. He filled out the appropriate paperwork, even double checking to make sure he had the correct address for ICBC to send the refund. He also stated it may take up to 3 weeks to get the refund, but hey, better late then never. Thanks again, Farshad. edit: The cheque never came. Apparently I òwed ICBC money for the points I accumulated in 2012. So even after paying the speeding ticket and giving up my car in an accident, they are still charging me for (admittedly) being a bad driver.

I had an above-and-beyond experience here a few weeks ago renewing my auto insurance…read more I arrived late in the afternoon to find someone ahead of me in line as well as several people being helped. No sooner had I walked in the door but two new insurance agents popped up from the back to help us. You can only wish for this kind of service from a bank, generally speaking! My agent seemed to be an expert at his craft, and though my rates have gone up yet again for another year of accident-and-claim-free driving(thanks ICBC!!!), it was that much easier to stomach thanks to the service I received. Without any changes to my plan I was in and out in about fifteen minutes. We even chatted about the neighbourhood and how accident-prone the street facing the insurance agency was, which was news to me. Overall, I would happily go out of my way to come to this insurance agency again - they are a pleasure to deal with.

What an absolute joke of a service you offer…read more Our storage locker at our home was broken into and a couple thousand dollars of our belongings were stolen. We are in the midst of filing a claim, or at least were until we were told by a helpful employee at Northbridge that submitting a claim would raise our insurance rates by 25% for five years. Nobody at Park informed us of this (obviously important) factor. So with a $500 deductible, +25% added to the rate we pay now, we'd actually lose money in the long run if you boneheads did anything at all for us. So we had our belongings stolen and the insurance company we pay for moments exactly like these is not only not going to help us at all, they are going to penalize us for using their 'service'. This is predatory business and anyone that works at this money gouging company should be completely ashamed of themselves. How dare you take advantage of vulnerable people in a time of need!? Absolutely disgusting. I am forced to pay $1200 a year for a service that is supposed to protect me and my family and instead you shake us down for even more money because somebody took a door off its hinges and cut our lock to take our possessions? You don't even tell us you're going to raise our rates? Your business model of "just take everyone's money and promise to protect them but actually just take more money" is one of the most morally bankrupt things I've ever encountered in my life. FUCK YOU.
