Cute little spot for coffee with a old downtown feel. Nice place to sit and work for a bit too!

The coffee is very good and prices are reasonable. It is better than scooters and Starbucks and worth the money because it's great coffee. It's also inside of the Bridge Church. I got a blended drink with a shot of expresso and lavender flavoring for 5$. The service was great and the employees were very kind. 10/10 recommend!

Hub Coffee is located in a historical building in Ottumwa, Iowa which was the YWCA.

Hallelujah - finally a location in Ottumwa with a vibe to community gathering together! The Bridge Church purchased the old YWCA building in 2015 and is in the midst of rebuilding, repairing, and restoring. The Hub Coffee shop opened this year and it feels like home. I ordered a cappuccino and a pastry, cream cheese with blueberries warmed up. The coffee is excellent, sourced from roasters at Messenger Coffee in Kansas City. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with soft music and numerous sitting areas including couches, tables and chairs, and booths. Hub Coffee is a definite must stop when in Ottumwa.

Everything was great, except the iced tea which needed help, but the coffee was good enough to not mind that part.

I really like the bubble tea here. It doesn't taste fake in the way some teas do. They have a nice space and great service as well.

Jade Palace - The showdown between a crab Ragoon and a magnificent pup cup of fried rice

1 star because zero isn't an option…read more I didn't know Jade Palace was running a social experiment on how little food you can serve for $34 before someone calls the health department, but here we are. First off, I've been to plenty of Chinese spots in my life, and even the hole-in-the-wall places will heap you up like they're trying to feed a football team. Not here. These folks handed me what can only be described as a pup cup of rice. Like literally, I could've ordered a Starbucks dog treat and come out with more carbs. Then came the "egg rolls." Spoiler: they weren't egg rolls. They were limp, barely warmed-up spring rolls stuffed with sadness. Two of them. I ordered egg rolls and ended up with appetizers straight out of a gas station freezer section. Uncooked on the inside too--crunchy outside, still questioning life on the inside. Beautiful. Now let's talk about the chicken and broccoli. Usually this dish comes swimming in sauce--like the kind you actually want to drown your rice in. Instead, I got a dry broccoli funeral with a few strips of chicken sprinkled on top. No juice. No flavor. Just vibes. Honestly, if my Tupperware lid had more moisture from condensation than my meal, something went terribly wrong in the kitchen. $34 for this? Jade Palace, y'all should be arrested for armed robbery with chopsticks. At this point, I'm convinced the chef just saw me walk in and thought, "Let's see how far we can push this guy before he calls the health department." Well congratulations, I'm one step away from dialing. If you're into overpriced rabbit portions, mystery eggroll-spring-roll hybrids, and flavorless broccoli fitness bowls, Jade Palace is the spot for you. If you actually like Chinese food? Do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else--even Panda Express would be fine dining compared to this nonsense.

Having a bad day walking so I thought a quick in and out trip to Aldi would work. We need a larger Aldi store And maybe a restock mid afternoon added for management. They can do this by the before open item checks and sales check count for low stock. They need a pen computerized system to red light when things are running low to trigger a quick restock event and or another small truck from local distribution warehouses for Aldi And show if an item is low stock in the Aldi app for the location we are at! Save time and money for sure!

I had to do a double, triple take- they had about five different beers available. None of them were cold. None of them were the major brewers. I consider myself a relatively worldly beer drinker, and I'd never heard of any of their four or five warm beers they were selling. Am I missing something? Other than that, they had a strange layout with lots of small sizes on their options. It seems like a place to go for your lunch break instead of shopping for your American sized family. There is no liquor store attached to this grocery, unlike the competition across the street...
