My husband and I recently stopped by the Pitchfork Pie Stand. It was our first visit, and we were…read moresuper excited to try the pies after reading the awesome reviews. We bought four mini pies (chess, strawberry crumble, blueberry crumble, and apple) and one large pie (blueberry) -- at total of $56. We immediately ate the chess pie after pulling out of the driveway. It was delicious, but we noticed these fine (almost invisible) hair-like things stuck to the top. We thought they may have been dog hairs. When we got home, we grabbed the large blueberry pie box from the floor of the back seat and noticed blueberry liquid had saturated the bottom of the box and seeped onto the floor mat. Luckily it wiped right up and didn't stain. Once we got in the house, we immediately cut into the pie and noticed it was pure liquid (other than the actual blueberries). It hadn't solidified. How disappointing. I contacted the owner about these problems via Facebook, but my post was deleted. I then sent a private message, and she kindly replied. The hair-like things are from the ribbons they use to tie the boxes, and she offered a full refund for the large blueberry pie (it hadn't baked long enough to thicken the filling). So, despite a not-so-great first impression, I reluctantly still give this place four stars because the mini pies we consumed really were outstanding. If not for the issues, it would be five stars -- no question. The crust was the best I've ever had, and the fruit was fresh. Best of all, it didn't taste like it was full of sugar and artificial ingredients. I will likely give this place a second chance and look forward to trying more pies in the future.

I left because i was literally told to go to walmart by a MECHANIC to get it done and i trust my MECHANIC FRIEND more than i trust a STRANGER MECHANIC. Monday 9/22/25 I went to Wayne's tire and it took them about 5 minutes to do the job. They never mentioned anything about the quality of the tires I brought in.
