I was quite early to arrive for my appointment and decided to wait and relax while she finished with her client. The music was not the type I would enjoy during a spa treatment and I thought about what I would say if the music was the same during my session. Without asking Yadira knew exactly what to do and when I went in for my session she changed the music right away to something more relaxing and spa-like for her older client. That's exactly the kind of therapist I like working with- one who is attuned to her clients. Thank you!!! The facial was delightful and I will definitely be back. She spent a lot of time working as an esthetician in San Diego, is extremely professional and highly skilled. Hilo is lucky to have her.

I was never one to constantly get my nails done (I know I said pageant, it was a one and done kinda thing). I would consider myself more tomboy. Not to mention a lot of the times I got my nails done they were usually chipped from my outdoor hikes or me being rugged with my dog but this nail polish is another kind of magic and I don't even get gel. Atmosphere: It's a literal hole in the wall. Down the alley with a little sign outside. Sometimes when it rains hard they put a little ply board up because when it rains it pours and flooding in downtown Hilo is nothing new. I digress. It's a nice little shop and small enough to make you feel like you aren't packed into a little sardine can. Usually there are two workers there are they really know how to read the room. If you wanna talk, they talk, you want peace, you got it! Service: PERFECT and consistent, seriously do not change a thing. For some reason massage chairs hit all the right spots or maybe my boyfriend just gives bad massages, either way, these chairs are COMFY as heck. However, these massages are nothing compared to the amazing job they do with the leg massages. Seriously just thinking about it makes me want to catch a flight to get a pedicure. This review is solely based on my experience on getting a lash perm. I get lash perm regularly and I know how it is done. I always get them done back home in LA, and of course, they always do a fantastic job. All my friends ask where I get them done and it lasts for so long, about 3-4 months!! I got here and the so-called receptionist isnt the nicest. Very unprofessional. I dont think she even knows what customer service is. She's not rude rude but shes rude because I felt it. The girl who did my lash perm, her name was Summer, if I remember correctly. I dont know is it because she does extensions more that shes not too expert on lash perm on she just doesnt know how to do it like a pro. My lashes literally look the same. Maybe VERY SLIGHTLY curled at the tip but its just my flat lashes with no curls. I was so shocked to see my lashes after she said she was done. Why? Because I didnt notice any change. When I got them done in LA, my lashes were like SUPER STRAIGHT CURLED UP that when I open my eyes, it would almost touch my eyebrow, literally. Well, my lashes are STICKY, GLUEY AND CLUMPED together. I dont know what the hell she used but it SHOULDNT be sticky like this. They usually end it with conditioner/oil and makes my lash look sort of 'wet' but definitely not sticky. When I told her it doesnt look permed at all, she said she left the perm agent for long enough that if she left it longer, my lashes would have fried. I'm laughing because she didnt even take an hour do to the whole lash perm. It usually takes 1.5 hours when I get it done. She obviously doesnt have any knowledge on lash perm I guess. I was so speechless how arrogant she was and I just left because I didnt want to argue. I should have left when I noticed how nonchalant the receptionist was. Wasted my money and time and got nothing back in return. I am going back to LA in 2 weeks for a week and Ill just get it done there. I am posting a pic with this review with the perm I got here compared to LA, so they can see what LASH PERM supposed to look alike. DONT COME HERE AND WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. TRUST ME.
