What a great place for the community!…read more I have driven past this place several times but never really stopped in and checked it out, or honestly, gave it much thought. I am not being negative, it just did not register with me. That all changed today when my granddaughter's dance company held a recital at Acacia Collective. My first observation was that there was ample parking, which was nice. In addition to the parking lot in front, there was also an even larger lot in the back. Walking in, I was impressed again. The architecture and its use of woods helped make the place very inviting and relaxing. The people inside were as welcoming as the facility itself. There is a lot going on here... The Acacia Collective houses an auditorium, a coffee shop, a childcare/mother's day out facility, an l shared work space, and more. At the tables there were puzzles being built, people drinking coffee, people enjoying the wonderful baked goods from the coffee shop, and others enjoying the Wi-Fi on their laptops and more. I personally had an Asiago bagel with cream cheese, and also a cinnamon role muffin. Both were delicious! I would be remiss if I finished this review without mentioning the staff at the coffee shop. They were super polite and a joy to interact with. Great customer service! They also worked hard handling the influx of people. Acacia Collective also proved to be a great place to hold a dance recital!

For dinner you can't go wrong getting the 10 oz filet medium rare. It always comes out cooked to perfection. On this occasion we stopped by on a gorgeous Thursday afternoon around 2:30 and were delighted to sit out on the patio and choose from their brunch menu. A Fabled Burger and Turkey-Chicken Club later, we were full and happy.

The owners personally created/decorated it and it's the most inventing space I have been to that serves two purposes - eating and reading. Walls of books greet you as you enter, along with big wooden tables and chairs with a desert bar set up. Wonderful! And when you go into the restaurant, there comfy books lined up along the wall, more table and chairs in the middle, and a touch of home with couches and table in front of the bar. And I don't want o miss out in the description of the restrooms - because they are something to see. A sliding door for the restrooms are books that have been arranged so you feel like you're in a somewhat magical feeder with. Oils arranged in fascinating shapes. They also have a separate room for events and meets - and wow! It's gorgeous too! It truly made me want to host an event here just to experience this room. The food is delicious and the waitstaff are great at making you feel comfortable and welcome. This might have been my first time in this restaurant, but it's just the start of many visits here.

I ordered the cookie butter with coconut milk, not something I'd usually get. Again, it was FINE but not my favorite. The roast was flavorful and not burnt like other franchises (cough*starbucks*cough) and it wasn't overly sweet (I ordered 3/4 pump) , but it just didn't have any distinct flavor that made me go "yum!" My daughter ordered a White Sands because they told her it was cake-flavored. She said it was good, but no cake vibes were detected. She also ordered a breakfast sandwich which was filling and hot/fresh, but pretty basic. Would I visit again when I'm in Wylie? Yes! But next time I'll try something that's not on the signature line.

My spouse got the leige waffles and very much enjoyed it. The service was friendly and helpful as well as pretty quick. I was happy to see that since they were a little busy.
