Lately it seemed costs were rising & benefits getting trimmed. I was beginning to question whether this was value for money. With the opening of the private lounge at the well-placed grand central branch, the benefits look much more attractive. It's truly a lovely space in which customers can have a coffee, do some business before they catch a train, or even stay for a couple of hours and do their work. It also has a small meeting room that seats around six people which you can book out. Well done NatWest! You had me at the espresso machine, but those tasty treats as well...

They also have a good location on Halesowen high street and being within a few hundred metres metres of car parking space and is also accesible by foot. Queues are dealt with efficiently and there is rarely a serious wait. And it's advantage over its rivals is that its air conditioning system performs well (unlike many of the other banks in Halesowen for some reason)

Their range of products seems quite innovative, which is quite an achievement in markets (such as the credit card market) where there seems to be little room for innovation. This fits in with the image they seem to try to project through their advertising -- informal, quirky, interesting people with whom to do business. Their customer service is good -- certainly we've never had any complaints -- and whilst you do get some computer-generated speech at the start of calls to their telephone helpline, you seem to get through to a human quite quickly. So all in all, we rate Egg highly -- we've certainly no regrets about choosing to use their services.

However you never have to wait too long here as you nearly always get served by friendly staff within 10 minutes at busy times and 5 minutes at off peak times, which as I'm sure most of you will know is pretty great for a bank. If you happen to be in the city centre and are in need of a Natwest then do visit this one!
