Morning Chef LLC has lawsuits for unfair wage withholding This company, withholds funds/wages due to employees out of retaliation for employees resigning. I have sent email after email inquiring about a paycheck that I should have gotten on 2/4. They did not inform me that the check would be mailed out. When I finally got the check they changed my rate of pay to $11.00!! It is against the law in Ohio to change wages for work already completed and they are fully aware of this, but they don't care. They refuse to answer emails because they don't want a paper trail.

I have been a client with them for…read more3 years...and switch to them from another company that they split from because they told me they could reduce the price for doing my taxes...which they did not do, charged me the same. I got an "audit" letter from the IRS this year. Sent RHW the letter and tried to contact them 3 times to follow up with no response. Ended up paying the additional taxes because RHW did not get back to me (or ever contact me) prior to the deadline. I am pretty sure they are a reputable company...but have grown large enough that they can't provide support or customer service to "small" individual tax clients. Be cautious of RHW if you are looking for a tax accountant.
