Later decided to move on from the bank and they closed the account with remaining balance in the account and instead of paying us out they sent the remaining balance to the state.

After building a long term relationship with my former bank, I was disappointed that I needed to find explore other options. I wanted something local with branch offices, competitive rates and full range of financial services. Kemba fulfills those needs and then some. I spent a lot time researching several financial services options ... big commercial banks, regional banks and credit unions, including the online banking service that took over my former bank. Kemba, as a credit union, offers much better interest rates than many competitors. They offered a wide range of financial services, including an option to transfer my Health Savings Account from another third party. Their customer service has been stellar, informative and very responsive. Since I had not looked for a new financial institution in years, I had a ton of questions. The bank officer I worked with was very patient with all my questions. When I asked things that stumped her, she researched available product options. The move from my old bank to Kemba has gone smoothly. I definitely and proud to be a member of the Kemba family.

I wish his employer would open their eyes to how many people complain online about this company and make a switch. There's one person in particular named Megan Sharp that appears to be a higher up there and she is one that absolutely will not return calls. At one point we were leaving messages and not getting a response and found out later she had been off on leave, but never updated her voicemail to advise people calling in of this nor did she provide an alternative person to talk to in lieu of her absence. I do not recommend this company at all.

New people coming in who don't know my business. It's awful. Their former manner of business is missed terribly.
