I kept calling them but nobody ever answered. The few times somebody did answer, they told me they would give me a call back and never did. It…read morewas my first time doing business with Belmont and first time in a while hiring to have my taxes completed. The office is located in a building that is easy to find, and there is plenty of parking in their lot. The office layout was a little confusing, but I did find the reception area and did not wait long to meet with Mr Beltrán who took me to a private room with a large screen view of his computer. He was very thorough in his work, and went over every document in detail with me, explaining everything we were doing along the way. He answered all of my questions in detail and with competency. On completion, we reviewed my return and all of the documentation again to ensure there were no errors or omissions, and that I fully understood my form. Everything about my experience was very professional and customer-focused. I expected to pay a lot for this service, but was very surprised at how affordable this was in the end. Comparing this to other big name tax preparation services, I felt the price was very reasonable and the service and competency was much better than you would expect from big name companies. I was so happy with the service I received that i have already made my 2024 appointment. I highly recommend Beltran if you need a trustworthy tax professional. We've worked with two of the other (big) national payroll firms and while the payroll was always…read moresubmitted flawlessly, the service left much to be desired. I credit this lack of service to the metaphorical barrier created by email, telephone, technology, and the fact that these "big" companies have such frequent turnover. My company was sold, the sales rep moved on, and I remember only having one individual payroll rep who exhibited anything top-notch from the standpoint of customer service. I've been working with HR Butler (both for payroll and health insurance) since 2008 and I can vouch for them, both personally and professionally. My sales rep has been in contact with me whenever I needed him since day-one. I've only had two payroll reps in almost 10 years and any oversights or mistakes that have ever taken place were immediately remedied. What I think sets them apart is the sincere care they have for their clients. If you're looking for a more personal touch when it comes to your payroll needs, I would absolutely recommend giving them a call to get a 2nd opinion.
