Pumpkin spice churro cheesecake
Rachel C.

First time here! Didn't even know this existed! We came a bit late, so it wasn't as crowded, but heard from a vendor that it was very busy earlier. I'm glad we have a market like this here in the community! It was fun to see small business vendors, families with their pets, and people genuinely enjoying themselves. I'm glad I heard about this through Yelp! Got to sample a few things and purchased some goodies...baked goods from Emmi Bakes & Tiffy's Tasty Treats' pumpkin spice churro cheesecake!! We had 2 seasoned/spicy gummies samples from two different vendors, so we got to compare the two...one from Bees Suga Spice, which had a tangy kick, and Tahin and maybe Tamarindo, and the other from Mijitos Chilitos, which was SPICY! It was drier in texture than the other one, less messy, but I preferred the taste of the tangy Tahin one. The brownie and cookies by Emmi Bakes was really quite tasty, and definitely made from scratch, which I loved! But the tastiest was probably the churro cheesecake from Tiffy's. That was amazing!! We will be keeping our eyes out for these vendors again, either here or at other market events elsewhere...

Awesome Night Market. Unfortunately I came a little late so I wasn't able to utilize too much of the food coupon, but I was able to try a couple of vendors. Birria De Res has awesome cheesy tacos. Magia De Tierra had a super tasty organic Thai Tea drink. Mojitos Chilitos gave me the most unique experience with their spicy gummy bears. There were also clothing shops and even a vendor that specializes in custom rugs. Definitely recommend checking out this Night Market if you ever have the time. Thank you so much Yelp for the opportunity to see the market and for the Yelp perks :)

I was invited to attend by Howlin Night Market and Yelp! This is such a cute outdoor market that happens once a month. It's a great way to bring the community together and showcase local vendors. I went mainly for the food but it was nice to see all of the vendors! There were an array of different vendors from clothing, jewelry, custom mats, community resources, nonprofits, etc. They have adequate lighting after the sunsets and they keep up the positive and fun mood with the DJ. It's a great event for all ages! They had games for the kids and a bar to entertain the adults. All of the food we tried was DELICIOUS! We had pizza, birria, desserts, fresh pressed juice, and vegan milk teas. We had to roll out of there after everything we ate and drank! We would definitely attend the event again!

Cute local nightly market in the SGV! Lots of vendors ranging from food, treats/snacks, clothes, crystals, etc. It's a great way to support local businesses. From what I saw, all of them take some form of digital payment (zelle, Venmo, cash app) so you don't have to worry about carrying cash. Oftentimes the market has a drive where they donate items you bring in exchange for raffle tickets. For example, the event I went to today was donating items to the homeless on skid row. Shoutout to PizzaKennLA, try out their Guava pizza! Perfect balance of sweet and savory.

This place has all kinds of cute ETSY vendor stuff. Great food options and bomb music by @thelovelin. Cant wait to go again on Oct 22nd. *parking on the street if you get lucky or parking across the street at Jefferson Middle school for free. Starts at 5:30pm but I would suggest going at around 7pm.

I had such a great time this past Friday at Howlin Night Market! It's an awesome event that supports small businesses. The ambiance, vibe, energy was just so positive and welcoming. Music was banging! Food was awesome! A lot of great things to buy! There was even a photo-booth! I placed an order for a welcome sign for my office door with "MILLAN MADE!" And enjoyed delicious cookies with "Crackle&Puff." Awesome DJ! @theLoveLin. Can't wait until the next month. This event occurs every third Friday of each month! Come out and support!

I used to…read moredo a lot of Thrifting, but slowed down once I started shopping online on eBay, Etsy, Poshmark, and similar sites. It does not match the thrill of seeing things firsthand, but definitely saves time. We did not go super early in the morning when they probably had the best stuff because neither of us were looking for anything specific. Just wanted to check it out. There is definitely a large amount of vintage clothes, furniture, housewares, and other collectibles. There are a couple of plant stalls, although we only checked out one. It is awesome. That real bathrooms are available as opposed to ports potties. There is a small food court and a couple of food and drinks stands throughout although the selection isn't super gourmet. I believe the coffee was well over $10 a cup and that is for iced coffee, not cold brew. I don't think there were any espresso drinks. It can get quite hot walking around in the parking lot so I would suggest dressing accordingly. I noticed several people brought little carts to carry their purchases. The parking is free, but there is a lot of walking so you would have to carry your purchases a long way if you do not have a cart.

Even though the beer prices have definitely crept up over the years, the entertainment is always solid and the vibes are unmatched. Now that the classic car is finally fixed, we can't wait to bring it to the drive-in! My toddler and I busted some moves on the dance floor and a zoot suiter complimented us on our moves. The Food: You have to visit Caesar. He's been here for years and his BBQ sticks are 5-star perfection. I always get one of each with the rice--pro tip: load it up with the vinegar and hot sauce. The Finds: Shoutout to the two guys in the second-to-last row. Browsing their collection felt like being back in a Blockbuster! We finally scored The Lone Ranger and a classic Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris flick. Also, don't miss my buddy in Row A for records; he always has the heat. Family Friendly: My toddler had a blast on the train ride (super convenient that they take Zelle now). I was bummed I couldn't find my usual poster-framing vendor, but the trip was still worth it.

Did I mention FREE parking? Friday night bands typically start at 7pm and are posted on their website, they have lots of seating and stand-up bar tables to enjoy your beverage or food. It can almost be like a treasure hunt looking for that special item that calls out to you! Even if you aren't looking for something specific, you might find something that is awesome (to you anyway). There is definitely a wide variety of stuff, from vintage clothing, to old car emblems, home decor, old business signs, and toys that, depending on your age, might make you remember the good old days. Prices can be a bit high, and some vendors will haggle, but this isn't really the kind of market where you get an amazing deal. Most people know what they have and know the market for their stuff. Vendors are still friendly though and will chat about what they have. Located in the old Laguna Hills parking lot, it has about 10-12 rows of vendors that are about 50 yards long. Last time we went there was an agua fresca stand but no food vendors. Even though it's in a parking lot, parking can be a challenge so be prepared. Everything is under construction as the mall is closed down and the buildings are empty so people kind of just park wherever. All that said, this can make for a great weekend activity to get out and walk around. Though it is infinitely better in the morning when it is less crowded and cooler outside! Being in a parking lot there is no shade and things heat up quickly in the afternoon. Overall, a solid local experience, especially if you like flea markets.

The parking lot was packed, which made me think we were about to stumble into something amazing. Instead it felt like an entire street of yard sales where everyone brought the stuff nobody wanted anymore... and now they all brought it to the same place. As we walked in, there were noticeably more people leaving empty-handed than people carrying bags. And the few who did buy something looked like they'd adopted a small trinket out of pity. "Vintage," apparently, is just a nicer word for old junk that survived the last garage sale. On the bright side... the dog had a fantastic time.
