Great spot to find craft beers and spirits. While small,…read morethis store is packed with lots of alcoholic beverages ranging from IPAs to Stouts. I am particularly happy about the latter since finding darker beers is quite challenging. Also good selection of hard liquor especially with whiskeys. Prices are a bit more than you'll find other places, but these are for hard-to-find beers, so it makes sense. There's also a clearance section right in the middle to get neat discounts. As for staff, you have to be active and ask them for help, otherwise they'll leave you alone.

Really disappointing experience at La Bodega. The biggest issue for me was the pricing. I found the…read moreprices on a number of products to be substantially higher than what I'm used to seeing elsewhere, and it left me feeling like I was being charged a premium simply because I was shopping there. What made it worse was trying to ask about the pricing. Instead of getting a helpful explanation, the interaction was rude and dismissive. There was no attempt to make the situation better or even treat me like a valued customer. I expect prices to vary from store to store, but there's a difference between paying a little more for convenience and feeling like you're being overcharged. When the prices are already high, the absolute least I expect is professional, respectful customer service. I left feeling like the combination of inflated prices and the attitude I received simply wasn't worth it. I can find the same products elsewhere for less and have a much better experience doing it. I won't be going back.

I came here alone to purchase margarita mix, with NO alcohol, and somehow turned a simple shopping…read moretrip into an unnecessary headache. The cashier carded me, which was completely fine. Before me, two customers were purchasing alcohol, so she asked for their IDs as required. One of them apparently was 24 but did not have his ID, so the sale was rightfully declined. Then came my turn. I went to purchase my margarita mix, which contained NO alcohol. The cashier called a manager over for an ID check. The manager then told me they could not sell me the product because I had spoken to the two customers ahead of me. Excuse me? I am a grown-ass man who came into the store by myself, paid for my own items, and have never had an issue shopping here before. Apparently, having a conversation with another customer now means you somehow become responsible for their purchase. I left feeling like I was being unfairly profiled and discriminated against based solely on the fact that I interacted with the people ahead of me. If there was a legitimate store policy preventing the sale, I would have appreciated someone explaining it clearly instead of making assumptions. Apparently, my money isn't good here because I said hello to the wrong people. If you shop here, apparently the safest strategy is to keep your head down, don't speak to anyone, and definitely don't interact with anyone purchasing alcohol. You never know when the cashier or manager will decide you're suddenly part of their transaction. I have shopped here without problems before, but after this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

This is actually one of the best breweries in Riverside because of its food offerings!…read moreWow, this brewery has a lot of activities going on and it's fun, but I don't always wanna pay for a ticket. The food so far everything I've tried is amazing this time I stopped by they didn't have any Porters and Stout's and it's September. But my husband really did love the Belgian triple especially at 10%. I'm lucky he made it to work today lol Really looking forward to their new location down at Fairmont Park

I rate this on food. The service makes it get 2 stars I've…read morebeen eyeing this place for a while. Family owned and operated in Riverside. So my friends and I went. It's busy, there's plenty of seating. It's fairly clean. For food I ordered the Hot mess chicken sandwich, my husband ordered the jam burger. My friend got the burger salad and her husband the wings. I also ordered a beer flight and my friend the boozy soda flight. The beers were mid, the boozy sodas weren't even cold, and they were way too sweet. I could taste the dyes. My sandwich was not good. The chicken tasted like it was from smart and final mopped with sauce. The fries were decent, but not what I was expecting since this place prides itself on "homemade" foods. My husband's burger tasted like reheated beef. It was overdone. Very much a let down. The burger salad. My friend picked through and it wasn't even like what you would think for a burger salad. The wings, I consider my friends husband an expert at trying these..he said they tasted like from a bag and fried. Not very good at all. I was gravely disappointed in the quality of the food and drinks. I was so looking forward to coming back, but likely I will not be returning. The staff was friendly, very kind and upbeat. But, that's not enough for me to patronize an establishment. I just expected a lot more effort in the food since I always see how they advertise themselves on IG and FB.
