I'll be upfront. I typically avoid using brokers as much as I can when moving in New York…read more That being said, we started looking in Inwood - a neighborhood we were familiar with in name only, and had no easy way to apartment hunt without help. A good buddy of mine and recent transplant to Inwood referred us to Pablo at PMG. He said "Pablo is the best. You'll love him." Skeptical me said, "Yeah, sure." When we met up with Pablo and a place we were set on had just been rented, we were pretty bummed out - that's New York for you. But Pablo had options! Oh, did he have other options. He showed us two other nearby buildings within our price range and, sure enough, we came upon an apartment we both loved. We dropped our deposit, made our offer, and waited. The next morning, Pablo called us with good news - the place was ours! We signed later that day and will move in next week. Despite my initial hesitations, I have to say that Pablo did an incredible job in taking care of us. He spoke honestly & laid it all out, knew what we were looking for (and what we'd like, most importantly), and is just a really nice guy to work with. He made our apartment hunting bearable - I've never experienced such an easy process from apartment-viewing to lease-signing. So, if you're moving to Inwood or Washington Heights, give Pablo a call. He will take GREAT care of you. I can't speak to the other services his office offers, but they seem to do a lot, including tax services. From everyone I met, friendly staff!

Listen to the reviews that say this company is sketchy! He said I was next for an apartment and then I never heard from him again, tried calling, texting and emailing as he told me I was first in line for this place, and I didn't hear from him until I called him on a different phone. He purposefully ignored me for 5 days so he didn't have to be straight up with me and tell me he gave the apartment to someone else. What kind of business professional are you? The worst experience I've had with a realtor. Don't give your money to this sketchy real estate company and don't trust "Joe" with anything unless you want to get screwed over and waste your time.

This review is for Milton Coste…read more I've had the pleasure of working with Milton on two separate occasions. The first time, helped me locate a no-fee 2BR Apt in no-time. I gave him a budget and while he told me that it was very strict, he asked me to check out a few places available. I was resigned to settle for a small 2BR; however, as I was checking out one of his recommended apts, he contacted me regarding a much larger 2BR which had just been placed on the market. I did the paper work the latter and received t the approval/keys in less than a business week. On the second occasion, after my roommate and I decided to part ways, I contacted Milton. To be honest, prior to doing this I had previously applied to another apt I had seen on Craigslist, but that deal went nowhere (Note to the reader: Stay away from Best Apartments Inc. They are very unprofessional and unethical). I informed Milton about my current budget, location, and moving date. He showed me around a few places and once I had settled on one, had me submit the application. I was approved the next day, and the lease was signed within the next 24Hrs. This apartment had a 15% broker fee, but I didn't mind paying it as Milton had come to my rescue (for free) in the past. I can't say enough good things about the guy. He's very professional, acts very quickly and will give you his honest opinion about an area or building. I highly recommend him.

We had gone to other 2 agencies prior to Trebach and were really given the run around. It was very discouraging. We had our specifications and the other agencies showed us every but what we wanted. Trebach Realty was a breath of fresh air. They are a family business which we later found out were a staple to the neighborhood. We dealt with Pamela Trebach (the daughter). She keyed in on exactly what our needs were. She showed us 10 properties over a period of weeks that were in our price and Bingo! We found a beautiful colonial home. The prior owners lived there for 35 years. The house has great bones and we are in the process of slowly renovating it. We feel that Trebach Realty was "meant to be".
