Various projects available on their website to purchase ahead of your visit. This allows the staff to prep your station prior to your arrival. This location is off high street in Worthington with parking in front and plenty behind the shop with a short walk. Our group brought our own champagne and mixers to make mimosas along with muffins. They allow wine, beer and champagne along with your own food. Not a lot of room to set up a spread but nice enough to have at or near your workstation to sip and graze. The staff is friendly and eager to help. (Shout out to Erin and Stacy) Some people in our group made signs, a tabletop and I opted to make a pillow cover. Each project had a custom stencil that was ordered and made prior to our arrival. What I learned was NOT to move ahead of your project prior to getting guidance or assistance. There could be a possibility you make a mistake or miss a crucial step that messes things up. Don't be afraid to ask for help or get tips and how-to's from the staff. We had fun creating not only memories but beautiful projects that will last a lifetime.

Their storefront is great to see each item and how they go together. I also loved the recommendations Katarina was able to make. I never felt pressured to rent more or go outside of my budget either. Event Source fulfills some kind of strange, sick need within my soul…read more I'm one of those people who daydreams about setting tables. Weird but true! In Event Source, I can play with the table settings to my heart's content. Whenever I have cause to be in here, I literally look at the options and try to dream up events where I can employ my fantasies. Those are some pretty strong feelings about tablecloths, eh?! Tablecloths, napkins, flatware, china, serving pieces, chairs, tables, the list goes on and on. You'd be really surprised what you can rent for your event! And boy, do I. For our wedding, I liked the linens that came with the venue, but we punched up the tables by adding a different napkin and a table runner. For the more "VIP" tables we changed out the tablecloth and napkin, and added chargers. Doing the whole room would've been a little too spendy, but with Event Source, we could very effectively make our wedding look above-ordinary. I also used Event Source when I hosted Thanksgiving for 22 people at my house. I ordered all the china (I have some nice china, but man, who has 22 place settings?), which was super fun because of course I went with something I wouldn't have BOUGHT in that kind of quantity. Gold filigree for everyone! (Also, bread plates, gold handled flatware, gold rimmed water goblet and wine glass.) Napkins and tablecloths, too. A plate is, like, less than $2 to rent. Totally worth it. The best part -- didn't have to wash dishes! Yep, ES asks that you return them "dirty" (we rinsed at least). Same goes for linens. Just put 'em in the provided laundry bags. Do you know how long it would've taken me to launder and iron all those table linens?! It may have never gotten done. You can rent things in sets of 10 (some other items may have different quantities... Ask!). Think beyond the wedding. ES is a lifesaver (and a dreamscape) for other events as well! Customer service is top notch. Next time you're headed to ES, can I come?

Know why it's called The Awesomatic? Because it's totally awesome. I'm trying to think of a word…read morebetter than that... but nothing's coming to me at the moment. You get the picture (horrible pun not intended). For this year's Pride (2014), I was given an amazing space on the patio, nestled in between the DJ, the dancefloor, and the drinks. I just *had* to do something fun. I thought -- what better way to remember such a fun night than with a great photo booth? I had seen The Awesomatic's ads in my Facebook feed (you know, the ones with Jeni's head popping out), so I decided to shoot them an email. Lo and behold, they were free the Friday night of Pride, and they were happy to accommodate me. After a few back and forth emails with the owner, Levi (who I'm pretty positive I've called Eli... sorry!), we had a plan for the Pride photo booth. Levi was super laid-back and easy to work with. In fact, I was the hot mess customer who was slow to answer emails and kept asking them if they could stay longer at the event -- but they handled it all beautifully. If you've never seen The Awesomatic, let me tell you -- it's no ordinary photo booth. This one's magical. Why, you ask? It's not the super creative backdrops they can make, or the crazy friendly staff, or even the designs they can print directly on the photos... nope, it's the machine itself that really makes the magic happen. The Awesomatic is a free-standing computer/camera combo where you can see yourself before the picture is taken! In other words, you and your friends can get in the silliest poses and look amazing in your pictures -- because you know exactly how you'll look before photo is ever taken. It's a big, digital screen that you control yourself -- when you take the picture and how many you take. Once you've taken the best new profile picture, you'll get a printed photo and will later have access to it digitally. There's just something about The Awesomatic that encourages people at your event to have fun. I absolutely cannot wait to hire them again! PS Shout-out to my boy, Austin, the most awesome photo booth attendant ever. He was a trooper and worked the Pride patio for like 8 hours!

I think having an additional person would've alleviated some confusion as the ceremony began.
