Of course, I then ran to Instagram to see even more photos and from that point on, I was sold. There are two types of businesses I tend to seek out on Yelp no matter where I am. Plant shops and crystal shops. Both are 100% my jam and I'm pleased to say that this shop is a hidden gem in every sense of the word... no pun intended but it's clear as day. It's tucked away a bit in a small corner of Westerville but it isn't hard to find. There's parking out front and they're currently only open Monday through Friday. The owner Amanda is so sweet and their space is truly a breath of fresh air. The vibrant colors just put off a feeling of happiness and I could honestly spend hours there. I'm kicking myself for not picking up a rainbow maker window cling but I did find several things I just had to get. A carnelian bracelet and a beautiful chunk of angel aura quartz. Out of all the cool crystal stores I've visited, this was the first time I laid my eyes on that type of quartz and I just had to make it mine. It's known to help with stress relief, balancing your chakras, and awakens empathy, enhances creativity, and more. I already had a giant tumbled carnelian stone but after learning it's supposed to bring love and prosperity to your life and I decided I needed to be able to bring this with me anywhere I go. I can't wait to get back there for a rainbow maker and I've already told all my friends about this place. I have to bring my niece here soon, she would die (in a good way).

The staff never knows when the technician will be in, when the machine will be done, or if he has even looked at it yet. The technician says that he does one thing when it is evident that he has not. Multiple times I have brought my longarm machine home after being "cleaned" and "fixed" only to have the same issues. And I have clearly seen that the machine was not cleaned. I live an hour away and when I call to let them know that the issue was not fixed, the answer is "bring it back in" (2 hour round trip). Most recently, and the last straw, was after bringing my longarm in for a cleaning and being told that I was "first in line", there was no communication about the machine and when I would call, the shop tells me they don't know when he will be in and when he was last in. Then, a week later I called to check on the status of the machine and they say it is ready for pickup. When I got there, it was not ready, but he said I can "finish it" at home. After following his instructions, the machine still did not work properly. He then stated that it would need a $700 part (mind you, the machine was not even in the shop at that time). After spending hours on the phone with the HandiQuilter tech line, I decided I would need to find another dealer. The new dealer opened the machine up and it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years (he sent me pictures). The tech said he has never seen a machine that bad. So, it appeared that the $300 that Red Rooster required that I pay upfront for the machine "cleaning" never got done. I will not be going back and will never recommend this shop to anyone else.

My go-to scent is the Bandit's Oil, which sells out quickly, but the owner is always willing to assist and put in an order upon request. The store also accepts plastic bags and films that are not recyclable through Rumpke recycling. Once the city receives 500 pounds of plastics, the TREX company will make a bench for use around the city. So far, over two dozen benches have been made through the efforts of the city's recyclers. I highly recommend that you visit this store in Uptown Westerville.

Also really dig the ceramics, plants, soaps, and body butters. When I go restock there I go in with the mindset that I don't NEED anymore Art AND that I am trying to DOWNSIZE. I've had the pleasure of visiting their print shop and the retail shop several times, and I'm always like a kid in a candy store. The staff are always so kind, and they love talking about their work. And the retail store sells so many Ohio and Columbus goodies--I want to spend hundreds of dollars every time I'm there! Seriously, this is the best selection of cards, calendars, and other paper products in the city!

The letterpresses are in the former carriage house of the Worthington Inn. It's a jumble in there, but in a good way. It has a wonderful ink and paper smell to it. The retail shop is housed in the Snow House which is the oldest house in Worthington. It has some office space, a kitchen for the staff, and several rooms of handcrafted goodies. When I walked into this beautiful candle shop today, my first question was are they environment friendly and they told me the ingredients and I thought yes, finally! I did not have time to make my own candle today so I bought what was on the shelves. I got mint leaf, windows down, and Bora Bora. I have Windows down burning right now in my enclosed patio and it smells like evening air! The Bora Bora, which smells like coastal tropical orange is burning in my dining room and smells so so good. I am so impressed with the scent these candles give, and how real and pure they smell. I can't wait to go back into this candle shop and mix my own.
