Update to my review: After about 9 days, we heard back from someone involved. They had us drop the bike off to get fixed. When I purchased the bike, I was told it was under warranty for 1 year but that does not include brakes and tires. The issue the bike was turned in for was not breaks and tires. We are still under warranty but somehow still paying to get the problem fixed out of our pockets. read more

They have the worst Customer Service and Repair Center. Multiple emails back and forth. Took 1 week for them to finally agree to look at my Broken TST EBIKE (another brand they own). All this non sense back and forth of agreeing to look at it out of warranty after I agree to pay for the repair. Dropped off at their warehouse in Ontario and all the Chinese workers are RUDE, DONT CARE, unfriendly and just there for a pay check. They took the bike in, charged me $120 to fix it and when I picked up, the bike worked for 2 minutes outside the parking lot of the warehehouse. This is a Friday at 5pm and they are were unwilling to help me and just left my son and I outside and told me to call the sales office. Absolute a joke for a company! No warranty and doesn't standby their product even after I agreed to pay out of pocket to repair it read more

The most disappointing experience! I did so much research before choosing their e-bike. I paid $300 to have it assembled. The display is scratched and the bike doesn't work. They are offering to send me parts - I'm not a bicycle repairman, so what will I do with new parts? They delivered a bike with broken and bent parts that didn't run. The brake cable for the front brake was frayed, the chain was bent, and the rotors on both wheels were bent and had to be replaced before we even rode the bike. We had it professionally put together and all the broken parts replaced-- and Hovsco customer service said they will not refund us the invoice for the broken parts!! We're out $200, time, and will never, EVER buy a bike from them again. Don't waste your money on a bike that's not even guaranteed by the company. Although I appreciate the private email to me after posting this review, the response I received was unsatisfactory and my question was still unanswered. As I stated in my first review, I will not purchase another bike from this company if my questions are not answered promptly. The offer of a $100 discount to purchase ANOTHER bike makes no sense to me since I already HAVE a HOVSCO bike that is a couple of months old. My Man Crush has an e-bike from Cyrusher. Their customer service is exceptional and the bikes are amazing. My next e-bike will definitely be a Cyrusher. read more

I needed the brake handle adjusted and called their customer service to see if they can tell me how to adjust it. They just said bring it in since you're close. Those guys made the adjustment without charge, and I was in and out in 5 minutes. They even offer me snacks, lol. read more

I like the bike I purchased from a local dealer in Berkeley but I needed accessories and he didn't stock any. I went to Hovsco's web site and it gave me an option for a $25 discount if I signed up for their email list. I signed up but when I used that discount code to purchase $300 in accessories the website said it wasn't a valid discount code for this purchase. I ordered the accessories anyway but resent not getting the $25 off. I've ridden the bike (HovBeta) for one day and it's a really good bike. I'm glad I got it. read more

I have the Hovsco Hovcart and would never purchase it again. I bought it for the looks, cargo capacity, and power but the customer service is absolutely horrific if you have any issues. It appears this is a Chinese company who has taken on an aggressive marketing campaign for direct to consumer sales in the US. However, they offer absolutely no support for their products. They have a phone number on the website that nobody answers and the "voicemail box is full." I email and when I do get a response, they want multiple photos of the videos of the problem, only to stop responding and offer no support. I asked about local dealers who service the product. I was provided one - I called them and was told they brought in a few bikes to sell, have not been able to sell them so are now offering for cost but do not service and don't know where to go for service. I live in metro Phoenix area - a very large city. I've called dozens of bike shops and nobody will service the bike because it isn't a brand they are familiar with and doesn't utilize readily available components for repair. read more

HovRanger and Customer support both FANTASTIC!! I purchased my HovRanger in late June, I have over 500 miles on it in just 2.5 months. I am really enjoying the bike, the torque sensor, the size, handling, frame mounted front basket (accessory) for my small dog, easy seat height adjustment, the water bottle mounting, and easy front wheel removal for transport. I did need to replace the controller and I found their customer support to be very responsive, with same day (or immediate) return phone calls and texts. I made a video of the issue (bike not turning on) and they sent me a warranty replacement part by overnight delivery, with a prepaid return label for the failed part, and they offered to have a local shop help me if needed, however I was able to replace the part myself. The consumable parts e.g. tires, tubes, brake pads etc. are all standard and easily available. I did add a suspension seat post, a wider seat, and a handlebar riser for my height, in addition to the front basket. So I highly recommend Hovsco, the HovRanger, and I am very grateful for their excellent and responsive customer support! read more
