Hong is super helpful. Friendly. I got my 2 bike today. Great price. I really like our bike. Thank you Hong

One of the worst purchase and customer service experiences we've had. We purchased a HOVSCO GTRS through Walmart for over $800 expecting a new e-bike. What arrived was unacceptable. The bike had scratches, missing hardware, badly stripped/used screws, and components that had already been assembled incorrectly. Even a component around the handlebar area was installed the wrong way around. This was not simply a pristine new bike with a little cosmetic shipping damage -- there were clear signs that parts had previously been assembled. We immediately documented the problems and contacted HOVSCO. Instead of taking responsibility and arranging a straightforward return, they initially suggested that the damage might have happened during shipping and asked for photos. We provided the requested photos. Their proposed solution? Replacement parts and a $50 partial refund if we kept the bike. We declined. After already dealing with a defective e-bike, we were not interested in spending more of our own time buying missing hardware, repairing, troubleshooting and rebuilding a bike that was sold to us as new. We requested a full refund and home pickup. What followed has been an exhausting back-and-forth involving both HOVSCO and Walmart. Walmart eventually escalated the case through a supervisor and specifically contacted the seller regarding our requested home pickup. HOVSCO's response was to refuse home pickup and tell us to "carefully disassemble" the bike, put this large partially assembled e-bike back into its original shipping box, and then take it ourselves to a Walmart store. That was the final straw. When a company ships a customer an expensive product with missing hardware, stripped screws, scratches and incorrectly assembled components, the burden of correcting that situation should not be pushed back onto the customer. We have now spent an absurd amount of time photographing problems, corresponding with the seller, dealing with Walmart, and trying to arrange the return of a bike that should have arrived new and properly assembled in the first place. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend HOVSCO. A problem with a product can happen with any company. What matters is how the company handles it afterward. HOVSCO had multiple opportunities to make this simple and instead turned a defective-item return into a prolonged hassle. If you buy one of their bikes, I strongly recommend purchasing through a retailer with strong buyer protection and inspecting every component carefully before completing assembly. read more

HOVSCO E-Bikes - Bikes Near Me - Diamond Bar, California

Where do I start....$2600 for a bike that worked for less than 2 years. Bike would not power on. I contacted the place where I bought the bike and they suggested replacing the switch and the display. $150 later, both replaced, still wouldn't work. They then suggested the battery. Ordered a new battery, $500 later, the battery was not the correct battery for my bike. Contacted customer service, good luck with that, no answer and mailbox is full. Emailed 7 times now, got 2 responses, 1st response had video link to replace a controller that isn't even the same as my bike. I have asked 4 separate times for a shipping label and they still have not provided one. On their website, it says $60 to ship the battery back and a restocking fee. So even if/when they send me a shipping label, I won't get my money back for the battery and I still have a bike that doesn't run. The value is far worse than other bike brands available but, for me as I was living near the location where I bought it I thought I would be ok. Now living in a different state, there are no dealers or authorized repair shops near me. The one shop that said they would look at it charges $118/hour diagnostic fee. If this hasn't helped to scare you away from this company, I pray for a better experience and outcome. Run, don't walk, from Hovsco! read more

The worst place to do business with ever in my life wasted my time today I tried the two location that they have in Ontario and Dimond bar. Both of them suck. I spoke with someone on Facebook. He said come down. I'll take care of you. I'll make it up for you. I came down. Drove an hour. she wasn't even there don't ever think about buying anything from this company. read more

They have the worst Customer Service and Repair Center. Multiple emails back and forth. Took 1 week for them to finally agree to look at my Broken TST EBIKE (another brand they own). All this non sense back and forth of agreeing to look at it out of warranty after I agree to pay for the repair. Dropped off at their warehouse in Ontario and all the Chinese workers are RUDE, DONT CARE, unfriendly and just there for a pay check. They took the bike in, charged me $120 to fix it and when I picked up, the bike worked for 2 minutes outside the parking lot of the warehehouse. This is a Friday at 5pm and they are were unwilling to help me and just left my son and I outside and told me to call the sales office. Absolute a joke for a company! No warranty and doesn't standby their product even after I agreed to pay out of pocket to repair it read more

Very smooth process, detailed explanation, friendly staff, easy to find lots of bikes on display

Hong is super awesome, price is really good. Many options. Very considerate. I also go a free accessory box. Thank Hong

Update to my review: After about 9 days, we heard back from someone involved. They had us drop the bike off to get fixed. When I purchased the bike, I was told it was under warranty for 1 year but that does not include brakes and tires. The issue the bike was turned in for was not breaks and tires. We are still under warranty but somehow still paying to get the problem fixed out of our pockets. read more

A SCAM OF A COMPANY. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT!!!!!!!! ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Scams people. Waited 3 weeks for a bike. Never got info on tracking. Had to wait 3 weeks to even get my money back from Amazon. Increased prices online so they decided to not send my bike? At least that's what I was told. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE read more

Totally recommend this place the prices are so affordable everyone is so helpful and they have different selection of e-bikes

Horrible experience... sold me a defective bike and return process took a month! Avoid this seller... spend the extra money and buy from a reputable dealer/ brand. Horrible customer service also... I mean it is a joke. Good luck hearing back from anyone. read more

We had a miscommunication about pick up day for the bike, but they were very accommodating and even sent someone out on the weekend for me to pick up the bike even though they were closed. The bike is great! read more

The most disappointing experience! I did so much research before choosing their e-bike. I paid $300 to have it assembled. The display is scratched and the bike doesn't work. They are offering to send me parts - I'm not a bicycle repairman, so what will I do with new parts? I'm in the process of disputing the charge with my credit card company to get the refund, and then I'll go and buy a bike that is pre-assembled and works! read more

They delivered a bike with broken and bent parts that didn't run. The brake cable for the front brake was frayed, the chain was bent, and the rotors on both wheels were bent and had to be replaced before we even rode the bike. We had it professionally put together and all the broken parts replaced-- and Hovsco customer service said they will not refund us the invoice for the broken parts!! We're out $200, time, and will never, EVER buy a bike from them again. Don't waste your money on a bike that's not even guaranteed by the company. What kind of company doesn't stand behind their product? read more

I'd like to give 0 stars because they're just that bad! I tired to buy a bike from them and not only did I not hear back after giving them my credit card information three weeks ago, but now there is a review from me on their website stating I love the bike! WTF! Let me be clear: no bike, no response, no nothing. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! they're a total scam. read more

Although I appreciate the private email to me after posting this review, the response I received was unsatisfactory and my question was still unanswered. As I stated in my first review, I will not purchase another bike from this company if my questions are not answered promptly. The offer of a $100 discount to purchase ANOTHER bike makes no sense to me since I already HAVE a HOVSCO bike that is a couple of months old. My Man Crush has an e-bike from Cyrusher. Their customer service is exceptional and the bikes are amazing. My next e-bike will definitely be a Cyrusher. read more

Found this place while driving to Walmart. Stopped by and got a test ride. I've been riding for a few days and pretty satisfied so far. I wish they had inventory here though. I had to wait until the next day to get my bike. I'll probably be riding it more when the weather gets warmer. read more

the team were incredibly helpful, answering all my questions and letting me test ride different models. The prices are very competitive, especially for the quality you're getting. If you're looking for a reliable e-bike with great customer service, I highly recommend checking them out! read more

I like the bike I purchased from a local dealer in Berkeley but I needed accessories and he didn't stock any. I went to Hovsco's web site and it gave me an option for a $25 discount if I signed up for their email list. I signed up but when I used that discount code to purchase $300 in accessories the website said it wasn't a valid discount code for this purchase. I ordered the accessories anyway but resent not getting the $25 off. I've ridden the bike (HovBeta) for one day and it's a really good bike. I'm glad I got it. read more

i do not recommend this ebike, i am real buyer and not sure if the good reviews are real and not fake. buy from reliable company this is not a canada or american company. they try to look like they are. read more

I have the Hovsco Hovcart and would never purchase it again. I bought it for the looks, cargo capacity, and power but the customer service is absolutely horrific if you have any issues. It appears this is a Chinese company who has taken on an aggressive marketing campaign for direct to consumer sales in the US. However, they offer absolutely no support for their products. They have a phone number on the website that nobody answers and the "voicemail box is full." I email and when I do get a response, they want multiple photos of the videos of the problem, only to stop responding and offer no support. I asked about local dealers who service the product. I was provided one - I called them and was told they brought in a few bikes to sell, have not been able to sell them so are now offering for cost but do not service and don't know where to go for service. I live in metro Phoenix area - a very large city. I've called dozens of bike shops and nobody will service the bike because it isn't a brand they are familiar with and doesn't utilize readily available components for repair. read more

HovRanger and Customer support both FANTASTIC!! I purchased my HovRanger in late June, I have over 500 miles on it in just 2.5 months. I am really enjoying the bike, the torque sensor, the size, handling, frame mounted front basket (accessory) for my small dog, easy seat height adjustment, the water bottle mounting, and easy front wheel removal for transport. I did need to replace the controller and I found their customer support to be very responsive, with same day (or immediate) return phone calls and texts. I made a video of the issue (bike not turning on) and they sent me a warranty replacement part by overnight delivery, with a prepaid return label for the failed part, and they offered to have a local shop help me if needed, however I was able to replace the part myself. The consumable parts e.g. tires, tubes, brake pads etc. are all standard and easily available. I did add a suspension seat post, a wider seat, and a handlebar riser for my height, in addition to the front basket. So I highly recommend Hovsco, the HovRanger, and I am very grateful for their excellent and responsive customer support! read more
