Setting the appointment seemed kinda strange but after that it was perfect. Movers were on time, loaded 1 bedroom apartment very quickly and professionally. Even made a quick additional stop to drop off 7 items at a different address. Then followed me to my address. Unloaded quickly and set up bed and placed furniture where I wanted it. I called and made an appointment with Sammy. I asked for 2 men +the truck. Told him I was referred by my daughter, she said they were very good. His normal rate is $75 per hour. Once I told him we've used him b4 he said ok $60. Upon arrival they were fast and did a great job of wrapping things up (even though I had to tell them to wrap my new sofa as they were taking it out of the door). They made the move from a townhome to 2nd floor flat, They started to show down ( which was understandable). When the move was done, I asked how much I owed Sammy said $360! First of all I never received an invoice, so I was shocked! He says 3 men @4 hrs plus $60 for truck =$360. I told him I never asked for 3 men, he said 2 could not do it. Keep in mind he never knew how much furniture I had or if I had stairs or not... He never asked. Moral of the story: make sure you get a invoice first!!! read more

I hired this mover 3-4 weeks in advance. Send a reminder e-mail the night before. Yes we will be there. My husband and I stayed up half the night packing and labeling boxes, took the day off of work, woke an hour before they were due and had everything boxed, sealed and labeled and then waited. No movers. I hour, 2 hours, 3hours, 4hours go by. Called left messages - no return call. I am normally a really calm person but I was furious !! Had to scramble to call around for another movers who could take me at last minute notice, just to get moved that same week. Grant it I was very nervous about anyone moving my things because everything was brand new. I was referred by Someone who used this company. I received not 1 but 2 confirmations about my move. The guys came and broke down my king size canopy bed. All my furniture was wrapped and cares for. A couple bumps which is normal. They were focused, started on time. God, don't even get me started on this place. They were the cheapest movers I found in my area so I figured why the heck not. Well, I guess I got what I paid for- cheap price= cheap service. I asked them to call me when they are on the way to the pick up destination: failed. I asked them to call me when they are on their way to the drop off destination, where I was at so I can get ready: failed. The owner told me anything after 2 hours will be prorated and even elaborated that we will only pay for what we use, ie. 2 hours and 15 mintues will only be charged 2 hours and 15 minutes. Well, we used them for a couple of mintues less than 2 hours and 30 minutes and the movers wanted to charge us for 3 full hours. Makes no sense. OH! on top of that, when i placed my service order, i had asked them what methods of payments do they accept, he said cash or credit will be taken at the end of the service but of course, they changed their words and said they only accept cash at the end! On top of all this, the mover tried to bad mouth us in spanish as if there isn't a fluent spanish speaker standing right there. With all that being said....never going back to them. I'd rather pay a little extra for more dependable service. read more

Showed up 5 hours late without calling (I finally called them 3 hours late to find out what was going on), when they arrived they moved slowly to to run up the price and chipped my furnitire in the process. They didn't complete my move due to a narrow staircase. I requested the owner (Fernando) who said nastily that if I could find 2 men who COULD do it HE would pay. I did!! 2 hours later the furniture was moved by ANOTHER company. I called the owner again and he double talked and got nasty and made excuses. Of couse I did not get the partial refund. Do NOT use this company. You have been warned! Cheaper is not always better. Sometimes it's just CHEAP. The owners response to the previous reviewer is typical of his attitude. They are unprofessional and after a quick buck. If the move was "impossible and unreasonable" as Ferando claimed then how could another company show up at 11pm and complete it in under an hour? read more
