I needed to get my soil bed barriers redone because mine were metal and rusted. They did it for a good price and fixed a couple of my bushes. The barriers they put in are a thick composite material so it actually nice. The guy who came here was not the guy I talked to on the phone and the guy who was here accused me of adding on more work when I had already discussed it with the guy I talked to on the phone. And I didn't get an apology. So beware of that type of behavior. read more

After much consideration and figuring out how we wanted to completely renovate our yard and patio to have an elevated look while being low maintenance with some more privacy, we decided to work with Houston Landscape Pros and are beyond thrilled we chose to work with them!!! Several of our neighbors have commented on how impressive the project worked out to completely replace our fence, add a pergola with UV resistant weatherproof cover (install outdoor fan/outdoor speakers/string lights), flagstone pavers, firepit, fountain, relocate our star jasmine, fix our sprinkler system (and add new sprinklers), install hardscape on perimeter/landscape bedding, outdoor lighting system, and more. My wife and I had been wanting to redo our backyard patio area for sometime, to create a larger space for entertaining. We had a general idea of what we wanted, but once we were able to consult with William and walk through the space, he helped us to dial that in and settled on the format shown in the pictures of the finished project. We went with a large crushed rock patio area, with defined spaces marked by offset rows of large 2' x 3' pavers and a space for some raised bed vegetable gardens. We also added some additional drainage inlets and tied into an existing system that we already had. Working with William and Irza was fantastic throughout the whole project, and they were always available to answer our questions during the design process, as well as during and after completion. They brought a big crew to remove our existing patio and grass and completed the project in just a few days (which was super quick and included a delay for rain). The crew cleaned everything up when they were finished, and it was like they had never even been there -- except for our brand new yard! We included some before and after photos of the yard, but they don't even do it justice -- the patio turned out great and looks beautiful. Overall, we were super impressed with the competitive pricing and work product, and look forward to working with them again in the future. We're already thinking about tackling some addition drainage and landscape projects in other areas of our yard, and we will definitely use Houston Landscape Pros again. read more

We recently used Houston Landscape Pros to do some work that was desperately needed in our yard, and highly recommend them! They removed a brick walkway along the side of the house as well as a brick patio right outside the back door, completely redid the drainage system, releveled the entire yard, installed pavers right outside the back door, laid sod in the back, and installed gravel along the side yard. It was a tremendous amount of work, and we were impressed with their professionalism, speed, and quality of work from start to finish. When we called to ask for a quote, they were out to our house at our next availability, gave good advise about how to tweak what we wanted to better maintain it, turned around the quote by the next business day, started the work right on time, and finished the entire project in just 4 days, one day of which Houston was under a heat advisory. The Owner came out on the first day, the guys who worked on our yard were fast, efficient, friendly, and very good natured with our 3 year who was often knocking on the window to wave at them, and the Owner made sure we were happy with everything before collecting final payment. They also gave us a watering schedule to ensure the sod takes. We absolutely LOVE the way everything looks and are enjoying our yard so much more, and have peace of mind that with the next big rain, we won't have water sitting against our house anymore. DO NOT USE. Nice man, owner of Houston Landscape Pros, but drainage is inadequate and absolutely not working. I had drainage put in around the backside of the house around Thanksgiving. In December when we had some rain I could see drainage helped some but did not address problem. I let Houston Landscape Pro know this) then the Tax Day floods and other heavy rains leading up to and after April 2016 showed me the drainage was inadequate and not working with gutters (lots wrong with this company - Gutters Express) recommended by William Santamaria, the Houston Landscape Pros owner. I had to call multiple times to get adjustments and drainage & gutters looked at by both companies b/c it didn't work. Both companies blamed the other and then me for not doing something. I cleaned out drainage areas, removed leaves, cleaned gutters, and did everything I could think to do but install the drains & gutters myself. Go with someone who will stand by their work and at least meet with you to see what the issues are, these 2 companies would only show up when I was not home and would not take or return my calls. I tried to work with them knowing they were working with many people who experienced Houston flooding, however the passive aggressive denial of the issues and inability to do the work they were paid for is clear from all the photos I have taken and the fact they do not return calls. If I use your phone to call either company they will answer right off. Save yourself and your property and keep looking. My patience has been tested. read more
