Jimmy was very helpful with all our questions. We are first time buyers and know nothing about being a homeowner. Jimmy was on time, precise with his inspection, clear about his findings and will have him help us with future inspections. Thank you so much for the help! read more

Super easy, very communicative and had great range of availability which was hard to find.

They respond very fast. Very professional and thorough and the report was ready the same day of visit. I would definitely recommend.

Scott performed our pre-drywall inspection in person. He walked me through his findings, and educated me about what he was looking for during the inspection. I received the finished report a couple of hours after we left our property. The report is thorough, and served as an easy punchlist to hand over to our developer. It turns out, our property is already in good shape, but Scott still identified issues that needed correction. It appears that my initial experience was due to a website problem, and not an actual issue with the company. Scott more than made up for the initial problem. We will use Insight for our pre-close inspection, as well. read more

Jimmy Cannon from HouseCheck is the best inspector we've had. Really thorough with his report but also took the time to simply and clearly explain to us what the problems were. He also gave great tips and recommendations for how to solve or prevent issues. He knows his stuff and has a very methodical approach, and he's a guy you can trust. HouseCheck as a company is also great, they have high availability and are helpful in their process in getting you scheduled. Would highly recommend! read more

Have had many inspections over the years. None better. Chance was extremely responsive before during and after. Most importantly he was very detailed and thorough. Once inspection was done he did a great job of walking through any issues and the report was extremely detailed with good information and pictures- made it very easy to give to builder to address problem areas. Assuredly at my 11 month mark will reach back out and use them again! read more

We're buying our first home, and our realtor recommended HouseCheck. She was able to book them within two days, and the inspection ended at 5 so we didn't even have to miss work. Eric was phenomenal! The level of detail he gave was incredible, but more than that I appreciated him explaining things and answering all our questions, and the extremely thorough report we'll be working our way through. read more

We used HouseCheck; they came recommended by our realtor to inspect a flipped home we're looking to purchase. Jimmy Cannon was very thorough, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions in depth. During our walk-through, he showed us his findings and explained each in detail. The report that followed was detailed (50ish pages long), with concise language and clear photos with issues listed in red type. Very easy to understand their findings, and a summary of all problems is listed at the end of the report. Great experience, and we would use them again! read more

HouseCheck is the absolute best in home inspection. I'm a real estate investor and use them for every property I buy. They are prompt at communication and their reports are detailed and extremely comprehensive. If you ask nicely, they will even blue/green tape new construction... literally saving you HOURS on having to do that by hand! Don't think twice about them... just do it! read more

Nathan was knowledgeable and provided us succint feedback. I would definitely choose for future inspections.

Team at housecheck made our inspection so easy to plan and execute. The report was thorough, and the inspector did an excellent job. It should have been good if the investigator contacts us after sending the report and discuss the findings in detail to add more context. Overall a good experience. read more

Jimmy of HouseCheck did a great job of carefully inspecting the house we purchased in San Marcos, TX. After he completed his inspection, he asked us to meet him at the house, and he went over key issues that might require repair, and showed us photos of said issues. He was detailed, courteous, honest, and very thorough. After completing his inspection, he provided a comprehensive written report with photos later that day which allowed us to promptly request certain repairs. My wife and myself would recommend HouseCheck (and Jimmy in particular) to homebuyers in the Austin and surrounding areas. read more

My husband, Andrew M. hired them to do our preliminary walk through on a new construction in Round Rock and we were very impressed with the skills and knowledge Scott S. had while reviewing our new home. My husband showed up late to their appt but Scott had already started his inspection. So unlike my husband, Scott was on time! Lol. My hubs said he was very personable, knowledgeable, and thorough~ We received final report for the inspection almost immediately after the appt (the same day... pdf file) . and like his other yelpers, are happy customers~ Definitely recommend! read more

Thorough and professional home inspection service. Chance did a great job checking everything and documenting it with notes and pictures. After the inspection he took the time to sit down and go through all the points with me and my agent, answering all of our questions patiently and in detail. Top notch from start to finish. Scott was replying and setting up our (next day!) appointment within minutes of our inquiry. Great communication from everyone involved. This is our first home purchase in Austin, and our first new build home purchase. Nate was our inspector and was absolutely great. Unfortunately for him we were present for the entire inspection. Nate was unbelievably patient, taking time to explain the systems, what he was looking for, and his findings. He was excellently prepared and went above and beyond any other inspector we have seen previously. The report was extremely detailed and received the same day. Insight Inspections offers an outstanding service at a great rate. Use them. read more

Great experience. I had Eric Rossol as inspector and he was thorough, explained everything, and provided report fast.

A+++. The BEST decision I have made since purchasing this home, was to call Insight Inspections. I was in a bad situation, where there were several major problems that were needing addressed with our newly built home....including a water line breakage/crack during the building of the home, which led to flooding. I called Insight Inspections for emergency help, and they were out to my home the very next day. It all started with the lady that answered the phone. She was very sweet, and very understanding of my immediate need for a full home inspection ASAP. She was even able to give us a discount on the spot, since I referenced that I found them on Yelp. The Representative that arrived at my home was Nate Rowell. Let me say, that Nate far exceeded my expectations with his Professionalism, empathy for our situation and the worries were having, as well as the depth of detailed knowledge regarding the home building industry and regulations as a whole. Nate took the time to walk through every aspect of the inspection that he was conducting throughout our home, explaining what he was doing, how he was doing it, and why he was taking each step along the way......and I mean everything. There was no stone unturned during his very detailed inspection. Things we never thought of checking were reviewed and triple checked. Needless to say, we quickly knew we were in good and caring hands. After the inspection, Nate even followed up a couple weeks later, just to see how we were doing, and to let us know that both he and Insight Inspections were always there, should we need further assistance with anything. WOW. These Grade A+++ employees, make Insight Inspections a Grade A+++ Company!! We need more companies out there, like this......ones who are honest, care about customers needs, and deliver on what they advertise and promise. Thank you Nate Rowell, and Insight Inspections, for being there when we were most in immediate need!! Call this Company...they are The Real Deal!! read more

I had two days to get a home inspection, so I submitted a quote request to various inspection companies in Yelp. Scott, the owner of Insight Inspections, was one of the first to reply and within just a few minutes. He was very professional, and was able to send an inspector the next day. I've worked with quite a few home inspection teams as a homeowner and real estate agent, and I have to say this team was the best. The details and information the inspector (Nate) provided even before he left were invaluable. He was also totally patient with our questions and very detail oriented. The written report was clear, concise yet more than sufficient. I'd definitely recommend Insight Inspections to anyone. read more

HouseCheck did an absolutely tremendous job with the inspection of our home. I called numerous inspection companies before making my selection and found HouseCheck had the best incentives at the best price. I worked with Chance and he did an absolutely tremendous job looking for issues at our new home. He was incredibly transparent and invaluable to our home build process. I compared a HouseCheck report against a few of my friends & peers who had inspections completed and Chance went way above & beyond the competitors. Don't trust just your homebuilder's inspection to be enough on a new construction home. HouseCheck found numerous things they had missed which saved me a -lot- of money. Thanks Chance!
