Now, before I go start convincing everyone that I am super selfless, I admit that most times I find the perfect piece for that special someone, I also find the perfect piece for myself. I mean, when it is meant to be, it is meant to be, right?! My Limbo collection is legit and my jewelry box would be sparse without it. You might be wondering why I am just now leaving a Yelp review if I have been such a loyal shopper after all these years...? Well long story short, my 5 year marriage anniversary is fast approaching, and as I was just sitting here admiring my LIMBO DESIGNED STACKED ENGAGEMENT RING AND BANDS, I got all emotional recounting the incredible design build process my now husband and I went through with Edson (Limbo founder and lead designer) and Anne (Limbo co-owner and all around Limbo maven). They took their time to create something special and unique to us, that we would want to wear on our hands forever!!! The entire experience (from design inception to fittings) was in the top 3 coolest things I have ever done, and 5 years later I am even more grateful for our decision to go work with such artists to create a piece I love more and more everyday.

I ended up upgrading to a slightly thicker version of the chain for an absolutely great price. Best of all, my floating bezel diamond pendant fit onto the new chain perfectly. We stopped in after some coffee nearby and my wife and nephew looked around for a bit and tried on a bunch of different jewelry while there. The pricing here is very affordable, and the customer service was excellent, they were there to answer any questions you had, but no to overbearing on your pressuring you with anything. We learned afterwards that this was the original flagship store, kind of a cool detail. I would recommend this spot to anyone, it's very affordable and had lots of options too. As a bonus there's a coffee shop inside also, they've got snacks/treats to go along with the coffee options too, I'm guessing people stop in here for coffee just by itself.

We walked in mid week in Dec. No appointment a bit past lunch time. Its in the same shop area as la la land coffee off congress. We went mid week knowing there was a 15$ discount for non weekend days. Our 1st time with needle piercing. The longest part with a minor in needing documentation of a gov/ state ID. Seriously TX.. it seems like theres more laws around minors getting their ears pierced or gender bathroom drama vs gun ownership.. insane. Not STUDS fault. Nice folks who helped us feel comfortable right from hello, helped us pick out flat back studs for my daughters 2nd piercing. All in was about 170.00ish. $50 per ear then the flat back studs $35ish for each. Pain level 5 out of 10 (10 being worst) with the needle method vs mall gun 8/10 says my middle school daughter who gets very anxious quickly. She said is was just a pinch like getting a flu shot. All in all we'd go back. The piercer was very good with infection control (i work in the medical field). They marked the spot and wasn't rushing when we decided on the optimal spot. Paperwork took longer than the 2, 2nd hole piercings. My daughters eat wasn't red hot like the blunt mall gun post needle procedure. Id go back to get more piercings even with the cost being a lot more than the gun piercing method at the malls. Would be super fun to come with friends to get the ear dazzled and take home a bit o Austin.
