I've never had anyone clean so SLOWLY. Total waste of money.
After an hour and a half, with three people working, they had cleaned less than half of the upstairs.
They ignored the list I gave them, spent excessive time dusting every surface even though I told them dusting was not a priority, and the owner was very rude throughout the visit.
They rearranged rooms and furniture without asking, made the beds without changing the sheets as requested - even though I provided clean sheets - and even left razor blades and scissors on the edge of the bathroom counter where my toddler could easily have grabbed them.
They chattered nonstop and made no effort to be quiet or move to another area when my daughter needed to nap.
They refused to do an in-person interview before cleaning, and I can see why. I was forced to pay them twice the rate of other cleaners just for the tiny area they completed, the owner complained throughout - then I STILL had to clean the other 60% of the house! My previous cleaner only took 3 hours to do the entire house (alone) - and for less than half the rate of House Helpers. read more
