Visited this place for the first time on Saturday June 13th. Wanted to like this place but the service was so bad. There were at least six employees all talking in the back, leaving one guy on the floor with a huge line. Every table and chair was dirty and gross, waited over 30 min for two drinks and a sandwich (which was sitting on the counter for 10 of those minutes) With better service, this place could be a gem! read more

Great atmosphere. Love their coffee, and the muffins et al are delicious. I enjoy going there with a good book or friend and relax with a cup of coffee. Do yourself a favor and relax inside with a nice cup of coffee. read more

Two separate reviews here 1. Food/pastries- This is 4 stars, I have always enjoyed the food. Their sandwiches, salads and muffins are good. 2. Coffee- they carry a good roast (Bongo Java) but no one there seems to know how to pour a solid shot or make a latte. If they could train people better I would move this review up to a 4 or potentially 5 star. read more

House Blend has become a wonderful staple in downtown Dickson. It is a firmly established business that has been there for a little over a decade. I love this place. I honestly have to say I have only gotten a "bad" drink there one time since they opened. ( I have been there 100's of times). Their coffee has a unique taste that I have not been able to find anywhere else and the decor is so nifty. I would recommend trying to avoid the after school time because the middle school is fairly close and it rapidly becomes Middle school kid central. My drink recommendation would be a nonfat cappicino with 2 splendas. It is beautifully made and great for someone who can not have the excessively sugary drinks. read more

A nice little coffee house with cute gifts, great coffee and tasty scones. House Blend is one of my favorite stops while visiting Dickson.

Friendly local coffee shop! Their drinks are delicious and they make some awesome muffins and scones that are reasonably priced. They also carry some cute, specialized gifts. Only downside is catching them at a busy time...then it can take way too long to get your order. But it is great if you aren't in a hurry and a wonderful little spot in downtown Dickson. read more

Coffee is always fresh and if it is not they will brew you another pot! The food is what is expected of a coffee shop and the atmosphere is great. With nice music that isn't too loud and good tables. I love their small gift shop and my favorite thing is probably the flavor of the day! New flavors I've yet to try! read more

I come here anytime I'm in Downtown Dickson. It's a cute little place with good service. Every drink that I've tried has been good. I got a smoothie once and I'm fairly certain it was made from a mix. That would be my only complaint. They have a gift shop and art on the walls for sale. read more

I haven't found a coffee shop that can beat House Blend. Great coffee. Great food. Friendly staff. I never feel awkward staying an hour or more just to sit there and read. I would often go to House Blend to write my now- husband while he was deployed to Afghanistan. Something about sitting outside watching people pass by while writing to him made me feel like I was passing along a little part of the states. The staff never bothered me and the iced caramel lattes were delicious. read more

I went to House Blend pretty regularly for lunch while working close by. I found everything yummy & reasonable. Great find for healthier choices in Dickson, but feel free to NOT be healthy & hit the treat case or have a Nutella banana panini-yum! Cute gift-y selections as well. read more

Catering Services Excellent!!!! I have always had great experiences going to House Blends for a quick lunch or coffee, but had also heard that they offer excellent catering and serving for events. We recently had a "beloved employee" retire and wanted to have a retirement reception for her. I must give a "5 Star-phenomenal" on all aspects. The selections made available by Holly were "mind boggling"....as there were so many delicious choices. They literally handled everything, even supplying the clear plastic plates, utensils and napkins and setting up water and fruit tea station. Her 2 staff members were exceptionally professional and attentive. They not only replenished the food but they would periodically check on the food to replace with fresh, warm items and box the food up for us that they were taking off the buffet. They boxed the remaining cake for the honoree and placed her name on it. I am usually OCD and need to check on everything, but it was nice to get to relax with my co-employees knowing that EVERYTHING was being handled in an exceptionally professional and friendly way!!
