We've used other boarding facilities out of state, but this was the first time leaving our girls in NY. We needed somewhere we could have peace of mind, and they exceeded our expectations! The Farmingdale location is gorgeous. It's spacious, beautifully laid out, and so clean that you can't detect a dog smell. In order to make a reservation though, they did have to schedule a two-hour temperament evaluation prior to their stay. Once that was completed, we were able to continue on with finalizing our reservation. They offered two suite options, the Comfort and Imperial. Jacquelyn was a pleasure to work with. She was kindhearted, friendly, and really supportive in organizing their stay. She was the primary staff member who assisted us with check-ups, updates, occasional pictures, and check-out. Initially, our dogs may have been reserved, but afterwards, they were definitely excited to be there. My husband & I could tell they had a great time. Not only were they happy but the exit bath pampered them even further. Yeah, they were spoiled and will continue to be spoiled! We plan on bringing them here for our future vacation needs. My doodle Rosie cries as we drive down lake ave and pulls to go back into daycare when I pick her up. The pictures pf her on instagram smiling makes me totally at ease whether it's a day visit or we are across the country. My kids loveeee the post daily online. The staff loves every dog as their own and it shows. I would chose Barkgata over and over again and I recommend them to everyone I know.

I am beyond grateful to have found All Pets Welcome! I have an older, sensitive dog and we have had real trouble with boarding her or even having friends dog-sit. She always returned to us with long-lasting diarrhea and sometimes vomiting as well. I mean, even from the upscale, "boutique" dog boarding places. We were never sure if it was stress or a temporary change in diet, though we have always been diligent about sending food/not changing her diet. We were at a point where we figured we needed to bring the dog with us on trips but recently we had a trip that we just couldn't. Sam took immaculate care of our dog. We received her back happy, healthy, and not a trace of the illness she has come home to us in the past. For anyone who has had similar experiences, you know how valuable this is! I haven't even touched upon the regular communication, pictures, videos that make every pet mom or dad so happy to see. Sam has customers for life in us!

Chopper is a rescue Pit mix -- overprotective, aggressive toward strangers, and not exactly easy to board. I was heading out of the country for 10 days and was a nervous wreck about it. After meeting the owners, though, I felt completely at ease. They were warm, professional, and knew exactly how to handle a dog like mine. I'll admit dropping him off got a little emotional (almost cried -- don't judge me). I had to walk him in and settle him into his kennel myself just to be safe. When I got back, the staff told me he'd been calm the whole stay. Then they brought him out -- and he came out wagging his tail, happy as ever, friendly with every single person on staff. I was floored. If you have a difficult dog, a rescue, or just a pup you're overprotective of -- this is the place. I won't leave Chopper anywhere else. Ruff Ruff.
