It's always a crap shoot when you move and must find a new doctor & dentist of some sort. If you've…read morehad a really good one and have to find a replacement you know how easy it is to end up in a bad situation with a new doctor or dentist. We've been fortunate so far in finding new doctors & a dentist since our move to Livonia. I would certainly consider myself fortunate for finding Marston Optometry. The previous reviewers all have it correct in stating how awesome this practice is. From the front desk staff, to the technician, to the optometrist, to the optician this place has exceeded my expectations. I have gotten to the place where I needed reading glasses and after researching a number of different places I chose Marston and am very glad I did. They were able to schedule an appointment that was convenient for me and wasn't several weeks out. I was greeted quickly and warmly by Carroll upon arriving and was only waiting a matter of a few minutes till Yolanda, optometric technician, came to get me. Yolanda explained every step in the process and seemed to genuinely love her job. Soon after Yolanda was finished, the doctor came in and completed my exam. No where in the process did the doctor try to sell me any products or embellish the results of my exam in order to up-sell me any unnecessary glasses. She was honest and explained everything in detail. After the exam, I was escorted to Mindy, optician, to discuss my options regarding reading glasses. I was concerned that this would now be the chance for them to try and sell me overpriced, unnecessary items. However, Mindy was very pleasant & helpful and not once tried to sell me anything or talk me into buying anything. She answered all of my questions and laid out all of my options without putting on the hard sell. I explained to Mindy that I was travelling out of the country for a couple of weeks and was hoping to get my glasses before I left. My request was rather challenging because this was only 1.5 weeks before I was scheduled to fly out. Nonetheless, Mindy told me that she works with several different labs and had one that she was confident could expedite my glasses. The Wednesday-Thursday before I was scheduled to fly out was when "Snowmageddon" hit SE Michigan, and I was concerned that this would delay my glasses. It was a pleasant surprise when Mindy called me to reassure me that my glasses should still be ready by Friday. In spite of the terrible weather Mindy called me Friday morning to let me know my glasses were in and could be picked up. Wow! So many businesses had closed die to the weather, yet the staff at Marston were still taking care of their patients. The staff at Marston has taken great care of me and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone that may need an optometrist.

Now I realize some topics can be sensitive to others but the staffs unprofessionalism just lost them a loyal client. Doeant matter how good the Drs are if you have a SHITTTY front staff with bad customer service skills

I soon found out that Dean is a personal stylist there and he does a fantastic job connecting with people and helping them find the perfect pair of glasses. You can really tell he enjoys his job! The African American woman, hands down love her! She's down to earth, funny, personable, and also connects to customers very well. The manager, shes lovely and very welcoming too. The only odd ball of the group is Alan, one of the opticians. He's one of those "one of these things is not like the other". They sat me down with him so he could input my info, and it was like talking to an automation machine. To be honest, it doesn't seem like he fits with the culture there. I'm asking him questions about what my vision insurance covers and he's giving non detailed answers and kept asking if I wanted to finalize and purchase. Almost like he didn't want to be there and trying to end the conversation. Major turn off. I was so happy when I walked away from his table. Nobody wants to deal with that negative space. One bad apple shouldn't ruin the overall bushel so I'm going to keep the 5 stars listed because everybody else was amazing and really made me enjoy my glasses hunting experience.

I have never enjoyed going to the eye doctor. I can actually say that I had a good time at my…read moreappointment yesterday with Dr. Bohdan. I will continue to go here as long as I live in the area- the service is unbeatable. First of all, and most importantly for me, you know that nasty part of your appointment when they numb your eyeballs, dilate your pupils, and touch them with that stick thing? YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT HERE!! You can actually opt to do a digital image of your eye instead, so you're not out of commission for the rest of day due to light sensitivity and generally feeling icky. Yes, it was $39, but SO worth it! They just took digital pictures of the inside of my eyes, and then actually showed them to me on a screen and explained what everything was. It was fascinating. And they store them in their computer, so if my vision ever changes, they can look back at past images and see what went wrong. Amazing. Dr. Bohdan and the girls who work there are all super friendly and helpful. Also, they sell the big bottles of contact solution (the good stuff, BioTrue) for only $5, which is definitely something I'll be taking advantage of.

He always provided great, thorough care and really built a strong foundation of trust. In the past year or two, the office has changed ownership and is now run by Dr Naureen Haroon. I'm happy to say the transition has been seamless Dr Haroon and her excellent staff continue the same high standard of professionalism and friendliness I've come to expect A special mention to Manager Mat Jordan, who does an outstanding job keeping everything running smoothly and making patients feel welcome. Also Dr Julia Bao (O.D.) handled my recent exams and did a fantastic job explaining every detail during the process. The also accept a wide range of insurance plans, which makes scheduling and billing very convenient, and they have a great selection of eye frames and lenses to choose from--stylish options for all budgets It's great to see the practice still thriving .after all these years. I definitely recommend Vision Without Limits LLC for anyone looking for reliable caring eye care in the Canton Area

I haven't had an eye appointment in a couple years and was having trouble with my vision, so I had…read moreto find an eye doctor soon. I made my appointment through the LensCrafters website and they called a few days before to confirm my appointment. When I arrived, they checked me in, took my temperature, and gave me a new pen for signing paperwork, which they told me to keep. That's a small detail, but shows they're being careful not to spread Covid germs. Chairs and surfaces are sanitized between customers and all staff wore masks. I got seen as soon as I arrived. The optometrist was friendly and explained why my vision might be changing so quickly. They use new technology, so there's nobody peering into your eye while breathing in your face. When it was time to choose new frames, I was helped by a nice woman who gave helpful feedback about which frames looked best on me. She let me know right away what the current deals were. I got a 50% discount on my lenses thanks to the promotion that week, which saved me a lot of money. They have a good selection of names-brand frames and a variety of price points. They require masks, but if you want to take your mask off to see your whole face while you try on frames, they have a little room you can go in to look in the mirror. They have you put the frames you try in a box so they can be sanitized. My only gripe is that Yelp, Google, and the LensCrafters website all say the store is open until 8:00 on weekdays and that business hours were updated by the business within the last couple weeks. This is not accurate. I showed up at 7:30 to pick up my new glasses, but the mall and the store were closed.

After I got my eye exam, I went over to the store area to purchase my glasses. It went pretty smoothly and good with associate Ashley. But there was no effort to help with the style and if they would work for me and on my face frame, which is very important when you get glasses. It was a very fast process. Pick what you want, pay and get out. I would have appreciated her to say these glasses are heavy, the nose bridge is low etc... and after talking with other people that have been trained with LensCrafters Corp they should have mentioned those factors before purchasing. When I went to pick up my glasses, the girl Ashley didn't even remember who I was and was calling a wrong phone number to let me know they were in. Luckily I called. When I finally got the glasses, both were a complete misfit and left red marks all over my nose from the pressure and had to take them back because of that. But before I took them back I went in for a readjustment with the Saturday tired crew. Even with the "so-called" readjustment they were both (sunglasses and reg glasses) still a misfit. Stephanie was the associate on duty and offered no recommendations or anything. This place is worth the eye exam with the Doctors there but take your prescription and buy your glasses elsewhere.
