However, in October 2019 I was charged by accident (since PPP has my card for automatic payment) and the owner promised to refund my money. It has been 10 MONTHS, ALMOST A YEAR of texting Billie to please refund my money back. I have sent emails, called, sent a family member since I'm out of the country and even texted the other instructors to see if someone can please help me. During 10 months all I have received is all sort of excuses. The owner said that they can't refund my money directly to my card because it wouldn't go through a system that they are using, however they charged me again in a different month by mistake again and that the money was refunded immediately. The owner asked me then to give her my address so that they could send a check and I never received it. When I asked if the check was sent, Billie said that a check was sent on January 19th, which is impossible, since I gave her my address on January 25th. I have been trying to get my refund back, and at this point Billie hasn't even responded to any of my last 5 messages asking for a refund. That is completely unnecessary, and unprofessional. The pandemic (one of the excuses) is not valid since this money was charged 5 months before the pandemic started. There is absolutely no reason why I shouldn't be paid back, especially when Billie has promised to do so. It is disrespectful to not take care of client's needs in a timely manner, being treated as some sort of gas lighting inconvenience, especially when you promote wellness. All I want is my money back, and to let others know so that they may protect their money from PPP automatic payment system and not go through what I have. Keeping others belongings to oneself has a name. It is called stealing. And I am hoping that this is not the case. Nevertheless, dissapointed. Kind Regards, Fiorella Vélez

The good.. the front desk woman was very very friendly, the club is huge and everything is new, there were some flirty and friendly gymgoers (female) always appreciated. The bad.. several gymgoers being territorial, hostile and competitive (male), never appreciated. People smoking near the entrance (they were El Palenque patrons not gym people, but ewww), the PF got so crowded from 4.30pm to 6.30pm that I'd never choose rush hour again, I thought with a new gym it might be less like that. And, no TP in one of the stalls. Overall a great gym and a great addition!

I gave a pretty good review earlier. They are still a very clean facility. I have been trying to do…read morethe circuit and I have had to ask people to move off of machines because I get to that machine and they are camped out on it. I try to be nice and most of the time they get up. I still HATE having to do this! Today twice I encountered ladies who refused to move. I asked for help from management the first time and they came and explained the circuit to her and she eventually moved. Still, it ate up several minutes of my workout time. Then a few minutes later I encountered the same situation with another lady. This woman accused me of being entitled and said I was picking on her because I didn't think she could speak English. I tried to explain the way the circuit worked , but she just told me that she pays for her membership just like I do and can do what she wants to do. I really did NOT want to run and tattle again. She finally finished and left. At that point had to leave because my time was up even though I didn't even get halfway through the circuit. I am seriously rethinking this membership at this point. I wish you could get an activation card for circuit machines and each machine would only work for one minute and after using a machine for that minute it would deactivate and not be able to be used again. Or have an employee that stays in that area monitoring it. I can see slipping in and using a machine that isn't being used, but if someone is actually doing the circuit you need to move when they get to a machine that you' ve slipped in to use. I already went to the desk the first time. It didn't really do any good. The culture of the gym is such that no one cares about circuit training. The only way to change that culture is to enforce policy. I shouldn't have to constantly wine about the problem in order to get a stated policy enforced. Based on reviews such as this management will respond if they care.

Members can either sign up for unlimited classes, a specific number of classes per month, or drop in classes. Individual, couple, and family month-to-month memberships are available. The gym does not offer individual workouts. I have been to probably ten classes so far and enjoy them. Most of the classes they offer are Les Mills classes, which are preprogrammed choreographed routines that change every few months. They also offer a few other classes that are not Les Mills. Although the choreographed nature of the classes is not my favorite (I wish they were more freestyle), the gym has a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the coaches and owner are so nice and friendly. The memberships are affordable, and the classes are very convenient, especially in our rural area. The gym is very responsive to its members' needs. My minor complaint is because the instructor is working out while teaching and the music is playing, she is often unable to correct member form and sometimes it is difficult to hear her instructions. Probably due to the fact that these are group cardio focused exercise classes, every class I have been to has been 100% women! If you're interested in checking it out, be aware that you will be surrounded by estrogen. I recommend the gym both to beginning and experienced exercisers, as they have classes for all levels. They have basic equipment but they do not have cardio equipment or machines. They offer showers but no lockers or other storage facilities, as they are brand new and pretty simple setup. And they also offer free daycare for some classes on some days. I recommend them if you're looking for new motivation or something a little different.
