I usually take classes from Lynn and she is awesome; she's knowledgeable and really helpful with any physical issues one might encounter. I have also taken classes from the owner, Renee and she too does a great job regardless of your experience or lack thereof with Pilates. I am an elderly woman and Pilates has improved and allowed me to maintain my posture, balance, and core strength. A strong core protects ones' back. I can shovel snow for two hours and my lower back is pain free after shoveling. I called them to find out their schedules for the evening and they had a 4:30pm slot available. Perfect! I arrived a few minutes early to fill out the usual waivers. The standard drop in rate is $27. This Pilates studio did not require the grippy socks my home studio in Seattle usually mandates. In this class, we would be utilizing 3 machines (standard reformer, chair reformer, and mat reformer). It is a relatively small studio- max of 5 students per class. The instructor was wonderful! She was patient in explaining each of the moves and gave me plenty of pointers and tips along the way. We did great core work and I thoroughly enjoyed trying out new machines. The one downside? I didn't get to really sweat in this class (maybe it just wasn't the right class for me?). But I will definitely be back to try another class the next time I am visiting Bend.

I've been going consistently for several months now and there is always a new move and challenge. I am a senior citizen who values my tennis and golf but sciatica in my back was threatening everything I liked to do and back surgery was bring discussed. When I tried to work with other trainers I kept getting hurt and going backwards. With Nancy's expert knowledge and guidance I'm back to tennis several times per week. It's always forward progress and no injury. She's also a lot of fun and keeps me motivated. Nancy will always be my personal trainer. I may be getting older, but Nancy's keeping me young.

The locker rooms are absolutely disgusting by the end of the day. They don't have male cleaners here. That means no one is cleaning the men's locker rooms all day. The classes posted on the doors don't match up to the classes online. They do not turn on the heat in the hallways. You go from the sauna to a freezing cold hallway. Feels like you're gonna get sick. This gym is basically a daycare center mixed with an old people's home. They are always having events and closing the pools. They close early without notice and the hours here are horrible. There are homeless people lurking in the parking lots and come into use the facilities. Things get stolen as well. I cannot wait for there to be real adult fitness club in bend. Because juniper is garbage.

When I circled back after the holidays I was told I had no more sessions, they had expired on 12/1/21. This was never disclosed to me and her webpage has changed so I have no way of going back to see if the package is only good for 3 months. I was quite sad to hear that she was not taking any new clients and I could go to another fitness coach. I lost $$$ and that's not right, we are after all in a pandemic and most businesses have been kind about working with people.
