Unfortunately, we had to cancel his membership because the owner, Tory - a professional boxer - decided it would be ok to threaten to get in the ring with my son and "go a few rounds" with him. Not in an effort to teach or guide my son but simply because as my son was in a sparring match he didn't hear a command that Tory gave him. I am beyond disappointed.

Good Day, Disclaimer I don't give 5 stars much, may write an updated review that may get a 5 star…read morebut typically keep it at 4 to allow "Greatness" to occur. So this is my first review of a gym, typically review restaurants which looking down at my waistline, this is where I need to be. I signed up via the website Dec 2021 and a few phone calls to the establishment to ask some simple questions relating to finances and membership pricing. I was provide the information, the representative that I spoke to was professional and was able to answer my question and articulate it in a manner in which I understood. Kept an eye on the progress of construction so it gave me a general idea when they will open. Got a nice card in the mail welcoming me, then I got a phone call to setup an initial tour and the onboarding process. Scheduled my appointment and showed up to a very sleek, clean facility. A couple of smiles and 1 employee opened the door for me, took my breathe away. As I stepped in the place was inviting, no blaring music and a little casual conversations going on. I can hear some go-getters getting some in one f the saunas. That's awesome because that will be me soon, hopefully no loud yelps of despair. I was helped by Monique (hope i spelt that correctly), what a wonderful lady. Very professional, clearly briefed me on the agenda then down to the nitty gritty of policies and a quick electronic signature of acceptance. After the paperwork, they gave me the keys to castle (trumpets sounding) actually I got the WiFi password which to some children is their lifeline. I was kindly introduced to another associate who was able to set up 2 phones apps, one to unlock the front door during un-attended hours and the other to book sessions, track calories, and develop a plan to take first place in the local eventually global leaderboard. What better way to meet your fitness goals than to have a fun challenge with like minded people. After the technology setup, i was given a tour of the facility. Going over the use of the sauna, location of the equipment based exercises and the none equipment rooms, restroom with shower and additional restroom, kettle bells and dumbbells, rack and a vending machine for snacks beverages and keys to towels should you forget one. So folks that wraps up my review of joining this Gym you may experience something else so go ahead an give it shot and make your own assessment of it. Look for my upcoming reviews, i thinking making a review of each exercise they provide and a few tips on what I do to maximize my experience. Prior to crossfit I was working out 3 days a week doing a boot camp workout, so when that ended and I decided to try crossfit I thought I was in semi good shape. Haha, what an eye opener. Yes , I had heard the CrossFit horror stories but was willing to give it a try. I started at a different gym and they were awesome and helped me to get going. That gym closed 2 years ago and I and many of the other members of our CrossFit family found Crossfit Full Bore South. This is such a great place! My crossfit family has grown with the coaches and members. This is such a great place. The coaches are amazing, they work with you, they never judge you if you can't do all of the moves in a workout. They work with you to help you do the best you can within your abilities. The goal is to be healthy and improve your life, not get injured and no longer be able to workout. I work out with men and women of all ages, (I could be the Mother of most of them)and there is never any competition to be better than you. Everyone supports each other. I do my best to go to CrossFit 4 times a week. The workouts are tough and there are times I think I just can't make it, but a put a goal in front of me and charge forward. It feels great when I complete my workout. Never doubt yourself, Crossfit is an attainable goal and the coaches, owners and members of #crossfitfullboresouth are the greatest. Thank you all.

Larger facility, better location, more space for activities, separate area for childcare (Though I'm not positive childcare is always provided - might want to call ahead for that) Still top-notch workout regime from a very attentive staff. ---- Original review: I've been coming to Levee Crossfit for a couple years now, so I may be slightly biased, but the classes here are absolutely top notch. Dain always comes up with a new Workout Of the Day, and what separates this Crossfit Box is the utilization of the levee at least once per week for workouts. In terms of the facility, it's a work in progress. Pretty small and not your typical gym, but that's pretty normal for a Crossfit box (gym). But there's normally a decent amount of great people, young and old, men and women, black and white, that you workout with, which can truly motivate you to do your best every rep, and keep you wanting to come back even through the pain of the work. If you're looking for a place to work out, especially if you're looking for something on the West side of the Mississippi River, I highly recommend Levee Crossfit. Remember that this is CrossFit place... but the equipment is in good conditions, and there's enough for the people in classes, they have a spacious room, so people can grab equipment and do whatever they have to.
