Gym members rarely clean off their equipment, and the employees barely do so as well from what I've seen. I've gotten jock itch from this location twice. Not only that but it is far from a "judgement free zone" seeing as they allow people to wear political clothing items such as shirts with Trump sticking up the middle finger and MAGA hats. I would not recommend this gym to beginners who are looking to begin their workout journey. Find somewhere else until they improve upon these issues. UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW. I recently returned to this gym and was pleasantly surprised that they may have read my review. I say this because they actually took action and were cleaning the gym equipment! I also would hope they discourage members from wearing offensive, political, hateful, and inappropriate graphics on clothing going forward.

The group of people that make up each part of the multitude of companies within Bastrop fitness project are such a unique and caring group of people. Doctor and PT laid it out for me: - being a "Legs" man is not good - I need to also work on my core and upper body. It is the reason for my back injuries which also lead to my knee injuries. My wife and I sign up for this new CrossFit gym in Bastrop that just opened up, CrossFit Strive. The impact is immediate. For those who don't know this style, I tell people it is like the Biggest Loser type workouts, but it really is more than that. The coaches are extremely motivational in a positive way. The group dynamic also pushes you, with everyone cheering you on. My fear is loss of form, because of my back injuries. The coaches constantly emphasize and teach proper form. The coaches come by and ask you to make corrections on each movement to make sure your form remains. The coaches also let me modify the workouts to fit my PT's request. This extremely flexible and all around workout is making a difference. In the past, returns to soccer from injuries started me at a lower level than where I left before the injury. This is my first flip where I am returning to soccer in a better position.
