I no longer have any ability to use their facilities. Since then, I have repeatedly tried to stop receiving HT Fitness marketing emails. I have unsubscribed and emailed HT Fitness directly requesting that my email address be removed from their marketing lists. Within the last 30 days, I again requested that the emails stop, but I continued receiving promotional emails on June 29, July 2, and July 5. My complaint is simple: HT Fitness has not honored repeated requests to stop sending marketing emails. I hope they correct their marketing practices so other former customers do not have the same experience. The unsubscribe button should not be for appearances, and direct email removal requests should be honored.

The best part about this studio (also goes with Westlake and The Domain studios) you can visit any of the three studios. This is helpful if you wanna go somewhere else or happen to be on one side of town. The instructors are all amazing. Caroline, Rebecca, Valerie, Audrey, Paige and Jennifer are all so kind. Not to forget Ella! I know there are a few others I'm leaving out. The studio is compact with one restroom/changing room. The cubby area is ample for one class so depending on when you arrive for yours you may have to wait to grab one. The equipment is in good shape. Noticed that the weights will leave marks if holding the ends tight. Things I'm not a fan of, not sure how often the studio is vacuumed. Lately since the new year the classes are extra full. Sometimes a little too full where you're limited on space and can't use full range of motion. Thankfully it's not enough to deter me yet from continuing my Pure Barre journey.

Kicked off my Sunday morning with a workout at the new location on the east side. Same friendly…read morepeople, same great workout you'd expect from Pure Barre. The first thing to know before you get to class is where the actual studio is. Google will take you to 6th St but the entrance is actually on 5th St. There is an adjacent parking garage, but since it was Sunday, I was able to park on a nearby street for free. The lobby is as small as the ones in the other studios. I really wish we had more room to take our shoes off/on and stash our stuff! There is a retail section as well to pick up some sticky socks along with apparel. At this location all the equipment is inside the room, so fill up your water bottle, secure your spot at the barre, and then collect your props from the back corner. Valerie C was teaching today's class and she is awesome! Be sure to check her out on the schedule. Your glutes will thank you for it!

My review: I'm a heavier thicker 166lb woman , I live in Texas so it gets VERY hot here. I wanted to make everyone aware of an incident that happened to me 1/2/2026 at planet fitness in Bastrop, Texas. I was minding my own business, working out with my friend when the manager went up to me in front of my friend and IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE GYM and told me that I needed to cover up or leave. I left the gym and bursted outcrying in my car. See what management did not know is that I was severely anorexic for a lot of my life, and I had barely gain weight and I was starting to feel more confident with my physique and wanted to be able to wear shorts and sports bras like everyone else. What they did to me not only embarrassing, but it was unethical! I want to emphasize that there was other members at the gym right at the same time I was there wearing the same type of outfits I was wearing. (Sports bra and shorts it was a hot day in Texas mid 80's) I personally feel like I was singled out because I'm thicker than the other thin members that were wearing the same outfits. I find this highly unethical and judgmental. Part of the reason why I went to planet fitness was to be a judgment free zone and not to feel body conscious about being bigger.

( completely dead hours ) Maybe 5-10 ppl at the most in the gym during this time. Received call at work saying I broke their gym policy so I asked them which rules were broken. She said we seen you on the cameras & you can't not have your gym bag on the gym floor. Two you can't have a tripod Three I took some posing pictures for 2-3 mins with my shirt off. I happily told them to cancel the membership, I can understand the tripod issue. But cmon now, remove fitness from your business name cause your gym culture doesn't have a clue about fitness.

Doctor and PT laid it out for me: - being a "Legs" man is not good - I need to also work on my core and upper body. It is the reason for my back injuries which also lead to my knee injuries. My wife and I sign up for this new CrossFit gym in Bastrop that just opened up, CrossFit Strive. The impact is immediate. For those who don't know this style, I tell people it is like the Biggest Loser type workouts, but it really is more than that. The coaches are extremely motivational in a positive way. The group dynamic also pushes you, with everyone cheering you on. My fear is loss of form, because of my back injuries. The coaches constantly emphasize and teach proper form. The coaches come by and ask you to make corrections on each movement to make sure your form remains. The coaches also let me modify the workouts to fit my PT's request. This extremely flexible and all around workout is making a difference. In the past, returns to soccer from injuries started me at a lower level than where I left before the injury. This is my first flip where I am returning to soccer in a better position.

I don't stretch enough and having someone tell me to stretch (through video) was great. I sweated a lot and it's good to have water closeby. We saw some other people do hot yoga, hot cycle, and hot row. THE FINAL BAMBOO: To be honest, I quite liked this concept. I believe member pricing for one club is around $60 while the all hotworx locations is around $80. Very nice if you're looking for a sweat with a variety of classes.
